00:25after more than a year of analyzing dallas sites for their planned multi-billion dollar arena and
00:30entertainment district the mavericks have chosen valley view dealing in major setbacks to efforts
00:36to bring the project downtown the mavericks on monday executed option agreements to purchase
00:41approximately 104 acres of the 110 acre former site of valley view mall and it is a seismic decision
00:49that could reshape dallas sports entertainment landscape for decades upending the city's nba
00:53franchise from its 46 year epicenter by moving it and its games 13 miles to the north from urban to
01:01near suburbia so that's 635 of the toll basically yes not too far from here yeah i mean that's within
01:08reason you know i i it's frustrating when when a team gets moved out of your town you know to
