00:00The West Indies are in a 10-day camp in Antigua to prepare for the three-game ODI series against
00:05Sri Lanka.
00:06According to windy skipper Shea Hope, the sessions have been very productive.
00:10What I liked about the camp so far is that we're paying much closer detail to what we're trying to
00:15achieve.
00:16I think when you're trying to get the best out of yourself, when you're trying to be an elite team,
00:20that's what you need to do.
00:21Pay very close attention to detail and ensure that all the practices that you have,
00:26and you're gaining that experience and that knowledge of what needs to happen in the coming days.
00:31The Windies have won four consecutive bilateral series at home and want to make it number five against the Sri
00:37Lankans.
00:37As such, the Windies skipper says there are certain things the men in Maroon have to do in order to
00:42succeed.
00:43Finding ways to score as batters, limiting that dot-ball percentage,
00:47that's something that we focus on a lot in the last or recent past.
00:51And as bowlers, trying to find ways to keep picking up wickets.
00:54So just understanding that we have a lot to play for as well, especially now with the points, points up
01:01for grabs.
01:03Pesa Alzari-Joseph is back after a long absence due to injury.
01:07And it's no surprise that Hope is delighted to see the Antiguan back in Maroon colors.
01:11He's been one of our strongest bowlers, especially in this format, for quite some time.
01:17And seeing him looking so fit, looking so strong, looking so refreshed,
01:20I think that's going to be a big boost for us.
01:22Not putting any pressure on him, but I'm looking forward to seeing him go well
01:26and doing great things for West Sydney's game.
01:28The three ODIs take place at Sabina Park, with the first game bowling off on June 3rd.
01:33We know it now, I need you to explore it.
01:36We'll see you next time.
01:37We'll see you next time.
01:37We'll see you next time.
