Transcript
00:00The first time the West Indies won the T20 World Cup was in 2012, defeating host Sri Lanka in the
00:23final. Four years later, they did so again in India, beating England in a nail biter. The two
00:28countries where they won it are now joint hosts. So the question is, can they make it three T20 titles?
00:34Well, I think they have a good chance, you know, once they keep to the game plan and push themselves
00:39and go take another team, I think there will be victorious in the end. So I think they have a
00:44good chance in winning. And I know the captain hope will push them towards the victory that they've
00:49been working hard to deserve. So that's my take on it. No chance whatsoever. That's it. You want more
00:58than that? They just have no chance. If they get three T20 World Cup, I'll be quite surprised. I
01:01don't think they might make it to the LNF World Cup.
01:04West Indies going for a third title on the subcontinent. Do you think they have a good
01:08chance? Yes, West Indies has a good chance. West Indies have always had a good chance at
01:13T20 cricket. On the basis of when you look at, I don't know if you all could recall that game they
01:19won against England in the final. I think the surprising element will be West Indies because
01:23they can come from behind and win a tournament of the sort. Tests, challenging. 50 overs,
01:28challenge. But 2020, I think West Indies have a good chance. How good a chance do you think the
01:32West Indies have? It's T20 cricket on the day anything can happen. I think if they work as a
01:38team and bat sensible, not to always give up the wicket and no winter, you know, build a partnership,
01:42they would be good. It's cricket. You work hard as a team, keep the unity and anything possible.
01:47I give them a 100% chance because as a West Indian, from my heart, cricket is my love, you know.
01:54I just drink, sleep, wake up with cricket. My mind is going to cricket. So, I give them the best
02:00chance for somebody. I give them a 100% chance. I think they're optimistic. I don't want to be,
02:06you know, negative. You know, because I always wish West Indies cricket well. Right? So,
02:12I'm glad if they do well. Right? But we need the selection and certain people at the top day,
02:17by the other goal. Right? Your take on the West Indies winning a third T20 World Cup title?
02:24Well, I don't think they have a chance because of the selection and because they're not taking
02:27the best team. But they are sort of good players they have. They did not give them a chance.
02:32I guess for them, you know, they're not really selecting the right team to really perform
02:38the best that they have. I have a probability selection from way, from not known for many years back,
02:46that they never pick the right team, the best team they could play. Winner World Cup here.
02:51So, remember, they're standard dropping back, right through.
02:54Time will tell if the Windies can bring it home. They play their opener against Bangladesh on February 7th.
03:00The others in their group are England, Italy and Nepal. Venudh Nawani, Chiefs Export.
03:16Two of them are gaming team.
