00:00After the 40-20 was washed out, the Westernies will be hoping to level the series against New Zealand tonight.
00:07Captain of the team, Sheho, believes they've got to make a mark in the final game.
00:11Yes, so the unfortunate reality is that we can't win this series, that last game that was rained out.
00:17But we still put ourselves in a position to finish on square terms.
00:21Sometimes when you go to foreign conditions and foreign places, sometimes you've got to take what you get.
00:27But certainly 2-2 will look a lot better than 3-1 to New Zealand.
00:33So that's something that we're certainly hoping for.
00:37And there's still many positives that you can take from this series,
00:41especially coming from the previous one where the conditions were so different in terms of ball spinning a bit more.
00:47He believes it's difficult to always please West Indian fans,
00:51but says they can hold their heads up regardless of the end result in this series based on their performance.
00:56It's important that we can finish this series very strong,
01:00and especially here in these conditions, it's a very big positive for all of us in the Caribbean as well.
01:07Everyone in the Caribbean wants us to win every game, but we know it's not possible.
01:10As long as we're playing good cricket and we're ticking our boxes and doing what we can do,
01:15I'm happy and I'm sure the backroom staff in our team as well is going to be very pleased with the performances in this series.
01:21So what can the West Indies expect?
01:24New Zealand's captain, Mitchell Satner, believes it's not going to be easy.
01:28Maybe we could have closed out a couple of those, the last two games anyway with the ball,
01:32but we're coming up against a side who are very powerful.
01:36They pack power all the way to 11 as we saw the other day.
01:38So I think as going into this game on a smallish ground, we know we've just got to be on from all 20.
01:44It doesn't matter if number 10's in or number 2's in.
01:47So yeah, it's been a great series, but it's obviously shown the class of both teams who are playing some good cricket as well.
01:54Satner says they've worked out a plan of attack for the West Indies after observing the outfield.
01:59There's obviously a bit of a breeze, so I think first things first,
02:02you want to play what's in front of you in the wicket, see what it's doing,
02:06whether it's spinning or seeming, but then it's being smart to the boundary size as well.
02:10I think there looks like there will be a win tomorrow, hopefully not as strong as this today,
02:14but then you've just got to be smart with how you operate and be brave at the same time.
02:20We know that dots in between, obviously the sixes and stuff are massive.
02:23We know West Indies deal in boundaries, and I guess it's the time in between or closing the overs out
02:29and trying to restrict them to what we think is a good score on the surface.
