John and Brantley examine a new defense of Mike Bickle that frames the Kansas City Star, prophetic signs, fasting, and spiritual warfare language as divine confirmation. They compare the argument to older patterns in William Branham’s movement, especially the idea of a “vindicated prophet” whose authority is protected even when evidence raises serious concerns.

The discussion explores how prophetic mythology, name-dropping, fear of blasphemy, “touch not my anointed” rhetoric, accusations against critics, and appeals to spiritual authority can create powerful systems of narrative control. John and Brantley also discuss splinter groups, replatforming efforts, and why escalating language against critics and survivors should concern anyone watching the aftermath of IHOPKC.

00:31Hello, and welcome to another episode of the William Branham Historical Research Podcast.
00:36I'm your host, John Collins, the author and founder of William Branham Historical Research
00:40at william-branham.org, and with me I have my co-host and friend, Brantley Smith, former
00:46member of IHOPKC.
00:48Brantley, it's good to be back and to talk about the Kansas City Star, and no, not that
00:54Kansas City Star, this other one.
00:57You sent me that this morning, I'm looking at it, I thought, oh boy, a Kansas City Star
01:01article.
01:02Oh, wait, that's not what I'm looking for right here.
01:06Isn't it great?
01:07Yeah, it's unbelievable.
01:09But you know, so in my weird history that I have coming out of this type of movement, whenever
01:17people see something that is just so critically wrong with the central figure, they will do
01:24anything to try to reconcile that.
01:26And I don't even fault the people who do it, because I was like this, right?
01:30You're in this mind control, you're in this cognitive dissonance where it's wrong, I know
01:36it's wrong, but yet at the same time, it's right.
01:38I know it's right.
01:39And your brain is going like, which way do we go?
01:42Which way do we go?
01:43And that's what I read when I read this newspaper.
01:47The most fascinating thing to me is that we don't, so we're going to be talking today
01:51about an e-book, is what they're calling it, that was released.
01:56It's 138 pages from the Father's Heart Church that you've probably heard me mention before,
02:02who have been participating in the replatforming efforts of Mike Bickle.
02:06And the most impressive thing that I found, John, is I can't find any record that James
02:13Crawford has ever met Mike Bickle, that he's ever even interacted with the guy.
02:20That doesn't mean that he hasn't, but the only links that I can find between him and Mike
02:26are his sister coming in August of 2025, and that's kind of when they first popped on our
02:32radar.
02:32They had a whole thing of why I trust Mike Bickle and was trying to defend Mike and trying
02:38to smear victims and even some of the former leaders that were bringing up old prophetic
02:43words.
02:43We'll see some of that in this document, too, if we get to it.
02:47But the only connection he really has is he had a prophetic word in 2002 or something like
02:53that, and he started a house of prayer, he says.
02:57And then he finds Mike Bickle, and he had a house of prayer, and so they're like divinely
03:01connected now.
03:03And that's like the only crossover that I'm able to find.
03:07But before we jump into it, I would like to ask you something.
03:11So I was diving into this and using a little bit of AI to help me research and go through
03:17the process.
03:17And there was a phrase brought up because it was pulling stuff from your website and
03:20such, as I was looking at it, talking about the vindicated prophet.
03:25That was not a phrase that I had heard before.
03:28And so whenever I looked it up, it's something you've talked about a whole, whole lot.
03:32And we talked last time we sat down together, we were talking about this fast and feast that
03:37that we were doing the counterfeast, and that it's ending on May 7th.
03:41And I didn't know that May 7th was an important date to William Branham, and that also May 7th
03:48was whenever IHOP started their 21-day fast back in 83.
03:53It wasn't IHOP then, but it was Mike's church.
03:56And that was kind of like their little commissioning date.
03:59So this fast, today's May 6th, and we're recording this.
04:01Tomorrow will be May 7th, the end of the fast that they're doing.
04:05So I can't help but wonder if there's going to be a big red curtain drop tomorrow, and
04:10we see Mike somewhere, something like that.
04:12But tell me about this vindicated prophet, May 7th and stuff.
04:15It's funny to me how many people try to connect themselves and just shove themselves into these
04:20ministries by connecting themselves.
04:22And I can't go too far with this right now, but I was looking, as you know, into Vance Belter,
04:27the Minnesota shooter who shot the political fish.
04:30I was digging into their church records, and they were doing kind of the same thing.
04:35They were mentioning Mike Bickle.
04:38They were mentioning their connection to him.
04:39I couldn't find where they ever actually met, but yet his name is all through the transcripts,
04:45as is YWAM, some other stuff in their church literature.
04:48So people are trying to wedge themselves into this ministry, and it comes back to exactly
04:53what you're talking about.
04:55Branham started this whole thing.
04:56He claimed that it was spiritual.
04:58He would throw out these dates, May the 6th, May the 7th.
05:01He never really knew what date it was, because he's pulling all of it out of his butt.
05:05But he says, it was more frequently May 6th, not May 7th, so that would be today, May 6th.
05:11He said, May the 6th, 1947, the very day that Israel became a nation, I was commissioned by
05:19this angel of God.
05:20That sounds familiar.
05:22You go look it up, and that's not really when Israel became a nation.
05:26He got the whole thing kind of wrong.
05:27So, it was all tied to this, but what he did was ingenious.
05:32I will give him credit for this.
05:34It was ingenious, and it saved his butt a lot of times.
05:38What he did was he started this doctrine of a vindicated prophet of God, and we heard that
05:44phrase, I kid you not, every single sermon for 37 years of my life.
05:48I heard that inside of a sermon every single day.
05:51Every Sunday, we're there.
05:53What he did was this, a prophet is a prophet of God, vindicated by signs following, a vindicated
06:00prophet of God.
06:02So, what he's trying to say is, I can give you a prophecy.
06:04If I can heal you, I'm a vindicated prophet of God.
06:08I have signs following.
06:09And he disconnects fully the aspect of the prophecy itself.
06:14So, if the prophecy is complete and utter nonsense and fails altogether, it doesn't matter.
06:19I'm a vindicated prophet of God.
06:21And whenever I started doing my research, my mind hadn't made that connection because logically
06:27that doesn't work.
06:27If you're a prophecy, you evaluate the prophets.
06:31If you have a prophecy, you evaluate that by, did it come to pass?
06:34Did it not?
06:34I'm in that mindset, even though I'm programmed not to be.
06:38And then people were hitting me with, well, it doesn't matter if the prophecy failed.
06:41He was a vindicated prophet of God.
06:44And I'm like, no, you can't do this, man.
06:46You can't say he's vindicated by this other thing.
06:49That would be like saying, I'm a baseball player, and I'm vindicated by whether or not
06:54I can swing a hammer.
06:55No, man.
06:56If you can hit the ball, maybe.
06:58But you can't do this.
06:59And that's what he did to the movement.
07:01So this is widespread throughout Branimism, but that got into the latter rain movement,
07:07the healing revivals.
07:08And I hear it all the time from people you'd never even connect to Branimism, and you know
07:13exactly where they got it from.
07:15It's amazing.
07:16The hoops that are jumped through, and the stories that are told, and the story that
07:23they're telling here is that the article that was released on April 20th, talking about the
07:30fast that we talked about last time in the Kansas City Star, was a divine confirmation
07:35of sorts.
07:37And they proposed these four different signs that happened, and three of them are directly
07:42tied to the release of that article.
07:46What is great about all of this is he claims there's no way he could have known that this
07:52article was going to be published, and that he had no idea that the major publication in
07:59Kansas City was called the Kansas City Star.
08:02But guess what?
08:06You can't make this stuff up.
08:10The Why I Trust Mike Bickle video that I mentioned earlier from August of 2025, I thought I was
08:16going crazy for a moment.
08:18So last night, I was like, man, I'm going to go check this video and look through the
08:21transcript.
08:22And sure enough, John, in August of 2025, there's a video on his own YouTube channel of James Crawford
08:29reading a direct excerpt from the Kansas City Star about Mike Bickle.
08:36So there's no way he could have known that Kansas City Star was the name of the newspaper,
08:42and there's no way he could know that the article was coming out because he had no idea that there
08:47was a fast going on that would garner attention.
08:52But you've already talked about the Kansas City Star.
08:54So that's their first big sign in confirmation is that on April 14th, he has a prophetic word or a
09:04dream.
09:04I'm trying to remember exactly what it was that he saw that Mike Bickle, God told him that Mike Bickle
09:12is my Kansas City Star, and only those with eyes to see can see it.
09:17So we immediately see that positioning of anybody who says anything different who doesn't see this
09:23is not hearing from God.
09:25And that's one of the things that we'll track through this whole thing is there is this mechanism
09:32that's used that he over and over repeats.
09:36These are not my words.
09:38These are not James Crawford's words.
09:39These are God's words.
09:42And so it just makes you just cringe all over.
09:46And I'm sure that you have much history with people claiming appealing to divine authority.
09:52Well, that's just it.
09:53Like I said, your brain tries to reconcile the thing that isn't true.
09:58And in no way am I making fun of this guy because my mind was wired like this.
10:02I know exactly how it works.
10:03I feel really, really sorry for him.
10:06But back to the baseball example.
10:07If you're a baseball player and you can't throw a baseball,
10:11but you say, I'm vindicated, but I can swing a hammer.
10:14Well, people who are sitting in the crowd, when they see you,
10:17the logical person can say, no, man, get this guy out.
10:20He can't play baseball.
10:21If you're brainwashed, you say, well, he swings a hammer.
10:24He told me he can swing a hammer.
10:26But what he's doing with this Kansas City Star sideline,
10:29it has nothing to do with either the hammer or the baseball.
10:32It's like saying, well, this guy next to me,
10:35he said that he knew another guy who named his dog baseball.
10:40It's like no relevance whatsoever.
10:42But I did the same thing.
10:44What you do is, what is called is, I had a spiritual revelation, my brother.
10:49And what it is essentially is, if you can find any single coincidence,
10:55you relate that to the thing.
10:57I had this, we were in this one really, really terrible situation one time,
11:04and I saw a flock of doves fly off.
11:06And in my brain, I'm wired in that Pentecostal mindset,
11:10oh, my gosh, that was a flock of doves.
11:13And the dove, that's the bird that came to know it.
11:16And my mind went through all these leaps and hoops
11:18to try to make something supernatural and spiritual that wasn't,
11:22because that's how we were trained to do in the movement.
11:24The problem is, like I said, it's really a distraction from the evidence
11:29of whether this is a true prophet of God or not.
11:32You can't claim that this side story vindicates the prophet,
11:36whose prophecies aren't true.
11:38I mean, we've kind of run the prophecies into the ground.
11:42There's not really much that's left to even evaluate.
11:44It's so wrong.
11:45And the Bible says you evaluate the prophet by the prophecies.
11:49Did they happen or did they not?
11:50Yeah, and I will say the email that was sent out to the friends of Mike Bickle
11:55was sent on April 16th, and he claims this was April 14th that this happened.
12:00So, I mean, there could be a world that he didn't know that the fast was happening.
12:05I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that.
12:07But on April 19th, the day before, he gets another prophecy
12:12where he says that your good works will be in the news.
12:15And so that's another thing of where he uses that as a confirmation.
12:20So it's the not knowing about the fast.
12:23It's that Mike Bickle is the Kansas City Star, which he unpacks.
12:28This 138-page document is – and I don't think it's AI either.
12:35Like, there's some of the headings and stuff that make me think that, like,
12:37okay, maybe this is a little AI slot.
12:39But he has his detailed explanations that he goes into time and time again
12:44and what it means that Mike Bickle is the Kansas City Star,
12:48going even as far as comparing him to Jesus Christ himself.
12:53It says that Jesus is the bright and morning star.
12:57And so there's this leveling of – which I never would have paid attention to,
13:03John, if it wasn't for you, talking about the deity cult and different things like that,
13:06of putting Mike Bickle on the same level as Jesus.
13:10And as I was going through this document, when I went through it the first time,
13:14I went through all 138 pages, kind of skim read it, and highlighted a bunch of stuff
13:18that stuck out to me, specifically things that were trying to control narratives
13:22or flip narratives or cause people to feel certain ways,
13:27all these coercive control techniques.
13:29Because there's a lot of, this is God's word, and if you say anything different,
13:33you're not of God.
13:35Or if you bring an accusation, then you are under demonic influence.
13:41There's so much of that type language that causes an us versus them thing,
13:47which they thrive off of.
13:49And that's been one of the most interesting things to observe
13:53that I would love to get your thoughts on,
13:55because I'm sure you've witnessed a lot of these splinter groups forming,
13:59I guess, over the years, or have seen it historically,
14:03how these splinter groups form.
14:05But we've seen Hope City.
14:08We've seen what exists of IHOPKC right now.
14:12We see what is now, we know, the Grandview Fellowship,
14:16which is the little church that Clay Edwards is running out of his garage,
14:22that Diane Bickle is preaching at.
14:25We're seeing all these little things,
14:27and you've got Father's Heart Church coming up,
14:29another little splinter group.
14:31But it's interesting because they're all kind of taking their own paths,
14:34and it's interesting to watch in real time,
14:36because IHOP, after the fast was announced,
14:39sent out an email claiming they have nothing to do with the fast,
14:43and that they don't think that Mike Bickle
14:45can ever come back to ministry.
14:47At the same time, and this is all speculation,
14:51at the same time, I saw as, like,
14:54there was a longtime worship leader that has been a staunch supporter of Mike,
15:00who stepped out of IHOPKC.
15:02I'm not sure where they're going, but it makes me wonder.
15:06And I hear rumors about them selling property and buying property,
15:10moving location and rebranding.
15:14Did this kind of stuff happen?
15:15Like, I guess, like, after Branham died,
15:17I'm guessing it was a huge power grab.
15:19But, like, did you ever witness these splinter groups happening
15:23and, like, the doubling down on certain things?
15:26Did you witness a lot of that?
15:28Oh, absolutely.
15:28In fact, whenever I read this article that you sent me,
15:32this PDF that you sent me,
15:34that's exactly where my head went
15:36because I remember not just going through that one or two times,
15:40but what would happen is you would be faced with a critical thought
15:43that is undeniable.
15:45In other words, there is absolutely no way
15:48that this guy's a baseball player.
15:49Kick him out.
15:50That thought goes through your head.
15:52Even if you're brainwashed, that thought goes in your head.
15:54But what happens is you start to feel more righteous indignation
16:00in the fact that you're wrong.
16:01In fact, we would say things like,
16:03there's no evidence that can tell us that that's wrong.
16:06I don't care what the evidence says.
16:08The evidence is the devil trying to trick us.
16:10You go through all those mental gymnastics,
16:13and the sad truth of it is the evidence is the evidence.
16:16There are facts that just simply speak for themselves.
16:19I get back to the baseball example,
16:21and I know I'm running this into the ground,
16:23but it's really that simple.
16:24If the guy can't throw a ball and can't even make it to home plate
16:28and he keeps doing it over and over and over again,
16:31you're going to eject him.
16:33He's not a pitcher.
16:34Or if he can't swing and hit a ball,
16:36you're going to kick him out.
16:37But we've got into this mindset where prophets are different.
16:41They can prophesy.
16:42It doesn't matter if every single one of them fails
16:45or if nine out of ten fail,
16:46as long as we can find some coincidence that happened
16:50because he said it.
16:52And that's the key.
16:53Because he said it,
16:54we link those coincidences to his statements.
16:57So you're driving down the road.
16:59You see a guy that is throwing a baseball
17:02and catching it on the side of the road.
17:04Oh, that's vindication.
17:05My prophet throws a baseball, too.
17:07I mean, that's really how all this works.
17:09So your brain gets so disconnected from reality,
17:12you start to, I hate to say it,
17:14but it's a mild form of psychosis.
17:16You go into psychosis,
17:17you start linking things that aren't linked.
17:19You start seeing things that aren't there.
17:22You start, a flock of birds flies up,
17:24and you think, oh my gosh, God is with us.
17:26Yeah.
17:27They, I have some of the threads here
17:30that I want to pull on as far as,
17:33I mentioned that he had no idea
17:35what the newspaper was.
17:38And that one of the things that he said
17:41on page 20 of it
17:42is that the reporting on Mike's allegations
17:46is actually transmitting darkness
17:49is what they're doing by doing that.
17:51that it's opposite of the light of Mike
17:55and the other stars that are shining.
17:58And there's this constant,
18:01I guess, catch-all that's thrown onto the back,
18:03which we see with prophetic words all the time, right?
18:05Like these big, broad, sweeping little qualifiers
18:09that get tagged on the end.
18:10And so you talk about,
18:12it talks about Mike Bickel very often,
18:14and then other falsely accused ministers
18:17is the phrase that's used.
18:19Which, you know, I'm like,
18:21it makes my head spit.
18:22Like I just can't wrap my head
18:24around how people make heads or tails of it,
18:26even though I was in it.
18:28And the other thing that he brings in
18:30with being the Kansas City star,
18:32I talked about that leveling with the divine almost,
18:34that he says this phrase,
18:35he says,
18:36even if he did like everything
18:37that they said that he did,
18:38this is a loose quote,
18:39he said,
18:40even if he did everything they said that he did,
18:42he's still the Kansas City star.
18:44Like that's who he is.
18:45And like his sin does not define him.
18:48You know, that kind of message
18:49that feels good.
18:51And we talk about that,
18:52I think frequently of like those half truths
18:55that you're like,
18:55okay, yeah, they're kind of right,
18:57but also totally missing the mark.
19:00Like just taking enough truth
19:01and twisting it just enough
19:03to where we can apply it for the moment,
19:06if that makes sense.
19:07Yeah.
19:08There's another thing that's going on here,
19:10and it's a little bit sketchy.
19:11I'm not going to say that
19:12that's what the guy is doing
19:13because I don't know,
19:15but I will say that Branham and others did this,
19:17and that's name dropping.
19:19In Branham,
19:20in the research into Branhamism,
19:22I was finding these names
19:23that were just,
19:24no way, man,
19:25there's no way
19:26that he healed this person.
19:27One of the people
19:28was Florence Nightingale.
19:30We grew up believing
19:31that he healed
19:32and saved the life
19:33of Florence Nightingale,
19:35the Red Cross lady, right?
19:37And you go back
19:38into the recordings,
19:39and you find
19:40in the very earliest version,
19:42what's that girl's name?
19:43Oh, her name was Florence.
19:44I called her Florence Nightingale.
19:46I mean, something like this.
19:48He's spinning up the names,
19:49and what it ends up with is
19:51there's no connection whatsoever to it.
19:53In fact,
19:54Voice of Healing
19:54had to actually publish an apology
19:56because he was name dropping
19:58Florence Nightingale,
20:00but we believed it,
20:01and it gave credibility
20:03to the claim
20:04regardless of whether
20:06we could prove the claim
20:07to be true or not.
20:08It was true
20:09because of the name,
20:10simply because of the name.
20:11Nobody's ever seen this person.
20:13Nobody knew
20:13did he actually heal her.
20:15They actually came up
20:16with some picture
20:17that looked like
20:17a Holocaust photo
20:18where somebody was
20:19insanely skinny
20:21and said,
20:21this is her.
20:22This is Florence Nightingale,
20:23and still nobody really knows
20:25who this person was.
20:27Healed King George.
20:28That's a name
20:28that you can easily drop.
20:30I healed King George,
20:31and you find out
20:32King George died
20:33not long after he claimed this,
20:34so he's dropping these names
20:36and nobody checks
20:38to see are the claims true
20:39because the name
20:40is so significant.
20:42This guy's using
20:43the Kansas City Star.
20:45This is the Kansas City Star
20:46that's publishing
20:47all of the stuff
20:47about Mike Bickle.
20:49Mentally,
20:49whether you're intending
20:50to do that or not,
20:52the people who see it,
20:53they make that mental connection
20:55because their brains
20:56have been wired
20:57to be scrambled,
20:58if that makes any sense.
21:00So the brain
21:00goes down one pathway
21:01while the evidence
21:03is going down
21:03a different pathway.
21:04The other way
21:05that I've seen
21:06that name dropping happen
21:08is that he's casting
21:09a wide net of,
21:12there's a handful of times,
21:14I tried to highlight it
21:14every time I came across it
21:16just to kind of track it,
21:17where he talks about
21:19that the brethren
21:20have come against
21:21IHOP and Mike Bickle,
21:22and then he goes on
21:23and hits all
21:25the different ministries
21:26we've talked about
21:27for the past couple years.
21:28He hits Morningstar,
21:29Rick Joyner,
21:30Daystar,
21:31and all of those leaders,
21:32Sean Foyt,
21:33Bethel,
21:34and Bill Johnson,
21:35and he says,
21:36and notice that
21:36all these that are being
21:37targeted are five-fold
21:39apostolic leaders,
21:40and I'm like,
21:42okay,
21:42and that means,
21:43you know,
21:44what?
21:45He pulls out a quote
21:46from T.D. Jakes,
21:48of all people,
21:50because T.D. Jakes,
21:51I don't know
21:51if people remember,
21:52was loosely referenced
21:55with the Diddy stuff
21:57that happened,
21:58and so I guess
21:58T.D. Jakes had to make
21:59a public statement about it.
22:00I didn't follow that closely.
22:02I don't know what's true,
22:03what's not,
22:03all that kind of thing,
22:04but he took a quote
22:05from one of T.D. Jakes sermons,
22:07I guess it was
22:08on a Christmas Eve service,
22:09I remember them saying that,
22:10that he said,
22:11the worst that could happen
22:12if everything was true,
22:14talking about his own allegations,
22:16all I got to do
22:17is repent sincerely
22:18from my heart.
22:20There's enough power
22:21in the blood
22:21to cover all kinds of sin.
22:23I don't care what it is,
22:25the blood would fix it,
22:26but I ain't got to repent
22:28about this,
22:28and I'm like,
22:31they all ascribe
22:32to the same ideas,
22:35and there's this
22:37double standard,
22:39I guess is what I'll call it,
22:40that I see time and time again
22:41through this document
22:42and in other places
22:43that T.D. Jakes pulls up here,
22:45I ain't got to repent,
22:47but whenever they start talking
22:48about people
22:49who are coming against them
22:50and accusing them
22:52and being restored
22:53to fellowship
22:54and being accepted back in,
22:56there is a clear repentance
22:58process for them
23:00and the things
23:00that they need to do
23:01that goes even as far
23:02as they imply
23:04that maybe some of them
23:05need to block
23:06certain voices
23:07on social media
23:08to keep them
23:09from the deception.
23:11And so,
23:12I think it's hilarious
23:13that they think
23:15that Mike Bickle
23:15does not need to repent
23:16for his alleged decades
23:19of sexual abuse.
23:22but me and you, John,
23:24like,
23:25if we want to get back
23:26in the fold,
23:27like, we have to get down
23:28on our hands and knees
23:29and do some penance
23:30and there's a whole process
23:32for us to be accepted
23:33back into the family.
23:34Like,
23:37I don't get it.
23:38I don't get it.
23:39You know,
23:40that's something
23:40that not many people
23:41think through.
23:43So,
23:43a Christian church
23:44has one job.
23:45Really one job
23:46is to save the lost.
23:48And you go out
23:49onto the streets,
23:49do you know the gospel?
23:50Bring them into the church.
23:51Show them love.
23:52Show them kindness.
23:53That's what a church is for.
23:56But because
23:57of the way
23:58that this is structured
23:59with a central figure
24:00that cannot be wrong
24:02and is above all accountability,
24:04you have to demonize
24:05all of the critics.
24:06And so,
24:07the critics are instantly lost.
24:09And in some cases,
24:10I know,
24:11I've listened to sermons
24:12where they've said,
24:13hell is going to be
24:13a little hotter
24:14for those guys.
24:15In other words,
24:16they are not just fully lost,
24:19but they're worse lost
24:20than just your average center.
24:22They're the worst kind of center.
24:24They demonize the people
24:26who are calling out the issues.
24:29Back to the baseball game
24:30that I'm running into the ground,
24:32there's a guy on the stand
24:33that says,
24:33this guy throws the ball
24:35straight down on the ground
24:36and hasn't yet made it
24:37across the plate
24:38one single time.
24:39Can't we take him out
24:40or we're going to lose the game?
24:42It'd be like the whole crowd
24:43just jumping on this guy
24:45and saying,
24:45no, man,
24:46you get out of this crowd.
24:47We're in an audience
24:48and we think
24:49that is our vindicated picture.
24:52That's really how this works.
24:54And because they're
24:55spiritually demonizing
24:57anybody who shows
24:58the critical information,
25:00what they're actually doing
25:01is they're saying,
25:02we are going to turn
25:04a blind eye
25:04to any evidence.
25:05It really doesn't matter
25:06what you show me.
25:07I'm just going to believe it anyway
25:09because God made
25:11some coincidence happen
25:13and that coincidence is spiritual
25:14and so I'm a vindicated listener
25:16of a vindicated prophet of God.
25:19The problem is,
25:20as you continue in that logic,
25:22you can really make it
25:23say anything you want.
25:25Mike Bickle can say
25:26anything he wants.
25:27It doesn't matter
25:28what he says.
25:29It's just the fact
25:30that he is a leader
25:31and the movement
25:32recognizes him
25:33as the central figure.
25:35They do such a clever job,
25:37I say clever,
25:38I use that term loosely,
25:40of framing their arguments
25:42and they do it in ways
25:44that you have to follow
25:45their logic.
25:47The way that they do that
25:49with the May 1st
25:50and the May 7th fast
25:51is that they frame it
25:52in a way that it's God-ordained
25:54and anybody that comes against it
25:56is coming against God,
25:58referring to our
25:58global nope feast
25:59that we had great participation in,
26:02by the way,
26:03which is still ongoing
26:04and thank you to everyone
26:05who came over
26:06and participated in that.
26:07We had dozens of posts,
26:08John,
26:08of people sharing food,
26:10waking up sharing their breakfast
26:12every morning
26:12and some people
26:14it was fast food binge fest
26:15and it was great.
26:19But back to this,
26:21he says it in a way
26:24that it's God's fast
26:25and then anybody comes against it
26:27is coming against God.
26:29He talks about the accusers
26:31and he does this Greg Locke thing,
26:34is what I refer to it as,
26:36is that there's witches involved.
26:38So there's a witch in our church
26:41and he says that,
26:44he says that the witches
26:45are moving the needle
26:46is what's going on right now.
26:48The witches are moving the needle.
26:49It's an attack against Mike Bickle.
26:51He even says that the accusers
26:54are demonically anointed.
26:56But he also says,
26:57he goes,
26:58but this isn't the enemy's plan.
26:59This is all God's initiation.
27:01God is the one who started all of this.
27:04I know we're bouncing all over the place,
27:05but earlier you mentioned
27:08Branham with the founding of Israel
27:11and that's kind of the same argument
27:13they make with Mike
27:14is that Mike started this fast for Israel
27:17in 2023
27:18and the war with Israel
27:21started in October of 2023
27:23and Mike was ousted
27:25in October of 2023.
27:28So they make these connections
27:30and build these narratives
27:31and stories
27:33to where I get
27:34where people
27:36don't want to rethink these things
27:38because they have to give up so much
27:40and so you keep
27:41reinforcing that narrative
27:43so you don't have to change the narrative
27:45because it does take a lot of effort
27:47and a lot of hard work
27:49to reform
27:51those belief systems and stuff.
27:53And when somebody shows
27:54something is false,
27:55that's a crazy dissonance
27:57to have to deal with.
27:59But he refers to these primary accusers
28:01and he names Mike Winger.
28:03He names Julie Royce,
28:05which we know they love Julie Royce.
28:07They've had plenty of
28:08very edifying words
28:10about Julie Royce.
28:11That's what we'll say.
28:13And Rod Cantor,
28:14who recently released a book
28:15about praying on people
28:18in the churches.
28:20But he says that they are
28:21demonically anointed by real witches.
28:23Those three are.
28:25As the primary accusers,
28:27which I thought was great
28:28and talked about them having this.
28:30This is a new one for me.
28:31He talked about that
28:32they had the spirit of Obama.
28:36I did not see that one coming.
28:39But the way that they framed out
28:40the accusers,
28:42I was trying to find this quote specific.
28:45I think I can pull it up here quick
28:46because it ties into
28:49randomism stuff
28:49that I don't know a lot about,
28:50but I've heard y'all talk a lot about,
28:52which was an allusion
28:53to the serpent seed.
28:55And he says,
28:57this is on page 42 of the document.
28:59He says,
29:00John the Baptist
29:01does not merely wash away sin.
29:03He exposes the lineage
29:05of those who block
29:06the way of the Lord.
29:08By calling the religious hypocrites
29:10a brood of vipers,
29:12John explicitly identifies them
29:14as the offspring of the serpent,
29:17and in parentheses, Satan,
29:18who is the ultimate accuser
29:21of the brethren.
29:22So if I remember right,
29:24the broader context
29:24is he's calling all of these
29:26accuser of the brethren
29:27and saying that their sons
29:28of their father
29:29are the ultimate accuser
29:30of the brethren.
29:31But then he threw in that serpent language
29:33and that caught my eye.
29:34And I was like,
29:34is this that same thing?
29:37Have you ever wondered
29:38how the Pentecostal movement started
29:40or how the progression
29:41of modern Pentecostalism
29:43transitioned through the latter reign,
29:45charismatic,
29:46and other fringe movements
29:48into the new apostolic reformation?

30:31On behalf of
30:32William Branham Historical Research,
30:34we want to thank you
30:35for your support.
30:36We've talked about this
30:37in the Revival History series,
30:39but not everybody
30:41accepted Branham Serpent Seed Doctrine.
30:43It was extremely racist.
30:45In the 1960s,
30:47there were people who,
30:48even though he didn't use
30:50the word black or white
30:51in the language
30:52of the sermon
30:53that he gave,
30:54everybody knew exactly
30:55what he was talking about.
30:56So it created
30:57this weird dividing line
30:58where people like
30:59Anna Schrader,
31:01Jim Jones,
31:02others were prophesying
31:03that Branham was going to die
31:04because he'd gone off
31:06into heresy.
31:07The interesting part is
31:10the black or white issue,
31:12the racist issue,
31:13was eventually separated
31:15from it.
31:16And even though
31:17he preached it as a bloodline,
31:19it was a two-bloodline doctrine,
31:21they started to spiritualize
31:23this serpent seed concept
31:24and say that
31:25it was a spiritual thing,
31:27not a blood thing,
31:29which is the total polar opposite
31:31of what he actually said.
31:32I actually went to
31:34Branhamite churches
31:35that were teaching
31:36the spirit version of this.
31:38But what that did
31:40was very problematic
31:42in that it took
31:45something that
31:46you could take
31:47as a black or white statement
31:49of fact,
31:50truth,
31:50or fiction,
31:51and you could say
31:52that this was
31:55something that
31:56we can't see
31:57beneath the hood
31:58because it's spiritual,
31:59so therefore
32:00there must be
32:01a grand conspiracy.
32:03There must be
32:04this thing
32:04where all of these
32:06different people
32:06are coming,
32:07rising up against us.
32:09And we would use it
32:10for things like politics.
32:12We get the wrong person
32:14in office
32:14and that's Satan
32:15and his forces
32:16who are taking over
32:17Washington, right?
32:18Obama spirit.
32:19Obama spirit.
32:20In fact,
32:21I think I may have heard
32:22the Obama spirit doctrine,
32:24actually.
32:25Uh-oh.
32:26I know that I heard
32:26the Clinton spirit doctrine.
32:28I know that.
32:29But that's exactly
32:30what they do.
32:31And more to the point,
32:34whenever there would be
32:35different groups
32:36of people
32:36rising up
32:37who saw
32:39the same flaws,
32:40the same issues,
32:42whenever that happened,
32:43we would say
32:44this is a grand conspiracy.
32:45It's not just
32:46one person doing it.
32:47Because there are multiple,
32:49now we can see
32:50that that truly is Satan
32:51and they can be ignored.
32:53In other words,
32:54it's not just one person
32:55in the stands
32:56who sees that this guy
32:57can't throw the ball
32:58across the plate.
32:59We have three people
33:00so therefore
33:01it's a conspiracy
33:02against the pitcher.
33:03And you just,
33:05you simply can't do this, man.
33:07No, it's,
33:08in the way that they frame it,
33:09they say that we're in,
33:11it's funny,
33:12they do this,
33:13the things that
33:14people on the outside
33:15are doing,
33:16they say that
33:17they themselves are doing.
33:19It's like,
33:19it's like this
33:20like double thing,
33:21double speak.
33:22It says,
33:22literal quote
33:23that we are in a season
33:24of exposing false ministries
33:26referring to the accusers.
33:29They're thinking about
33:29the Mike Wingers,
33:30the Julie Roys
33:30and all these kind of things.
33:32And there's these
33:32veiled threats, John,
33:34that are like,
33:36that make me nervous
33:37whenever I read them
33:38because I'm like,
33:39I know these people
33:40like this is,
33:41this is weird.
33:42To where they say
33:43that they have information
33:45on people
33:46and God has told them
33:47to expose them
33:49is what he says.
33:50And he says that
33:51God has given us
33:52full permission
33:53to tell everything
33:54we know.
33:56And that seems
33:57just very,
33:59and they also,
34:00I was trying to find it
34:01and I can't,
34:01I mean,
34:02it's 138 page document,
34:03it's hard to search right now.
34:04I was trying to find
34:04the direct quote,
34:06but they allude
34:06to a Bible verse
34:07at one point
34:08that even talks about
34:10like the ultimate fruit
34:12of it being death
34:13is what it is.
34:14And they're implying
34:15that people are going
34:16to have unfortunate endings
34:19because of speaking out
34:22against this,
34:24against this movement.
34:27With the,
34:28directly following that quote,
34:30just a little bonus content
34:32for you
34:32where they say
34:33we are in a season
34:34of exposing false ministries.
34:36The next line is
34:37a new breed
34:39of forever apostolic friends
34:41is emerging.
34:42So that was another phrase
34:43that caught my mind
34:44was the new breed.
34:45And I was like,
34:45oh, that's,
34:46that's,
34:46that's,
34:46that's letter aid.
34:48And we see like over and over
34:50like the,
34:50the reusing of the old trope
34:53of touch not my anointed,
34:54which I'm like at this point,
34:56like,
34:56don't y'all have any new content?
34:58Like that's,
34:58like that's,
34:59that's level one stuff there.
35:02And one that,
35:03that I wanted to hear
35:04your thoughts on
35:06is there is a
35:09underlying thread
35:10throughout this whole document
35:11of trying to bring back
35:14legitimacy
35:14to IHOP KC's
35:15prophetic history
35:18by name.
35:19They mentioned
35:20Bob Jones
35:21many times
35:22and try to
35:23affirm Bob Jones
35:25as a prophet of God.
35:27I very,
35:29I wonder the connection
35:30there because
35:30this church
35:32originally started
35:32in North Carolina,
35:33although they're in Texas now,
35:35I think it's like soon
35:36as like just a couple
35:36years ago,
35:37they were in North Carolina,
35:38which is where Bob,
35:39Bob was around there
35:39with Morningstar.
35:42And they,
35:43they,
35:44he even makes a statement
35:45in there that,
35:46that pretty much vindicates
35:48the Kansas City prophets
35:49is what it is,
35:50that their work was true.
35:52But he,
35:52he frames up this idea
35:54of prophetic blasphemy
35:56as like the unpardonable sin
35:59and that people
36:01who say
36:02that these words
36:03are not true
36:05or that they're false,
36:07they are committing blasphemy.
36:09And it's just another spot
36:11where I see fear
36:12like used as a tool
36:14to keep people in
36:15because
36:16like whenever we were
36:17deep in that stuff,
36:18John,
36:19like
36:20we would have done
36:21everything we could
36:21to avoid blasphemy,
36:23right?
36:23Like,
36:24but I imagine
36:24that's a repurpose trick
36:25as well.
36:26It's funny how these things
36:28come out in series
36:29because I don't really
36:31plan it this way,
36:32but I'll have a conversation
36:33with Bob
36:34that ties to a conversation
36:35with Chinno
36:36that ties to something
36:37I've been researching.
36:38And
36:39those episodes,
36:40I think,
36:41come out
36:41the week after
36:42we're recording this,
36:43but come out before
36:44so the audience
36:45can watch it all in series.
36:46But you haven't seen it yet.
36:49There are
36:50Is this,
36:50is this a prophetic spirit
36:51here,
36:51John?
36:52There is.
36:54So
36:54there's multiple
36:55complex issues here.
36:57The first one
36:58I'll talk about
36:58is the minor prophets
36:59and I'm not referring
37:00to the minor prophets
37:01of the Bible.
37:02There are these voices
37:04that have to affirm
37:05the prophet,
37:06the central figure
37:07of a cult.
37:07If you don't have
37:08those voices,
37:10it never sticks.
37:11I mean,
37:12picture me.
37:12If I were to come out
37:13on a podcast
37:13and say,
37:14I had a prophecy
37:15five years ago
37:16and it's coming to pass
37:18and you must do this,
37:19that,
37:19or the other,
37:20you won't go to heaven.
37:21Everybody's going to think
37:22I'm a nut.
37:23But if you were to
37:25pretend to be a prophet
37:26and verify my prophecy,
37:27you say,
37:28God told me to,
37:30and you start getting
37:30that charismatic way
37:31about you,
37:32people start believing it.
37:34Whether it makes sense
37:36or not,
37:36they'll start believing it.
37:37Bob Jones is one
37:38of those people.
37:40The other thing that,
37:41and this is probably
37:42the biggest factor of all,
37:43Bob and I talk about this
37:45quite frequently.
37:46I don't think people
37:48catch it.
37:49There is very much
37:51a,
37:53what's the word?
37:54There's a sense of power
37:55that comes with
37:56having a mythology.
37:57So when it talks about
37:58the prophetic history,
37:59what this is,
38:00that is the mythology
38:01of IHOP KC.
38:02You go to the ancient world
38:04and I know people
38:05don't understand
38:06the concept of mythology
38:08as it relates
38:09to the religion.
38:10Without the mythology,
38:11you don't have the religion.
38:13In Christianity,
38:14I know this is going
38:15to offend people,
38:16but this is the actual
38:17way to describe it.
38:19You had the mythology
38:20of Jesus Christ.
38:21That mythology,
38:22we believe,
38:23if you're a Christian,
38:24you believe it is real.
38:25So you have,
38:26the mythology of Jesus Christ
38:28makes you Christian.
38:28You believe in that mythology,
38:30you believe in Christianity.
38:31You believe in the mythology
38:32of Buddha,
38:33you believe in,
38:34you're a Buddhist, right?
38:35Right.
38:35So without the mythology,
38:37there is no religion.
38:38The difference is this.
38:40If I'm in a Christian church
38:42and I have a Christian pastor
38:43who's not a cult leader,
38:46Christian pastor
38:47does something horrific.
38:48We eject him.
38:49We get a new leader.
38:51Our mythology hasn't changed.
38:53The leader has changed.
38:55The minister has changed.
38:57We still believe
38:58the mythology of Christ.
38:59We kick the bad leader out.
39:01We get a good leader.
39:02We still have
39:03a functional church.
39:04The problem is
39:05within a cult,
39:06you have a mythology
39:07that isn't Christianity,
39:09but you claim
39:11that it is Christianity.
39:13And when you take that away,
39:15you don't have a movement.
39:16So for them
39:17to take away Bob Jones,
39:19you've taken away
39:20one of the primary voices
39:21of prophetic history,
39:22you're ripping out
39:24the mythology
39:25from underneath IHOP KC.
39:26When you do that,
39:27there is no IHOP KC.
39:29It's funny
39:29because just this past week,
39:31the Orlando House of Prayer
39:33posted on their Facebook page,
39:35and my post on other social media
39:36and such as well,
39:37that the House of Prayer
39:39is not a cult,
39:41that they felt the need
39:42to post that.
39:43Like, I'd never seen
39:44one of these affiliated ministries
39:46be so brazen
39:47using the cult word
39:49and denying it.
39:51And so it made me wonder,
39:52you know,
39:52what's in the water?
39:55One of the best ways
39:56to advertise
39:56that you're a cult
39:57is to say that
39:58you're not a cult.
39:58To say that you're not a cult.
40:00Yes, yes.
40:01What's funny,
40:02there's this little thread.
40:04There's a couple
40:04little foreshadowings
40:06where, like,
40:07whenever you're around
40:07this stuff enough,
40:08you start to see,
40:09like, where people
40:10are trying to get ahead
40:11of the ball a little bit,
40:12trying to get ahead
40:12of the narrative.
40:14And there is references
40:15to an antichrist hub
40:17in Florida,
40:18which caught my eye,
40:20especially after
40:21the Orlando House of Prayer
40:23was claiming
40:23that they're not a cult.
40:25And then there was
40:27another thread
40:28of ongoing allegations
40:32against Mike Bickle.
40:34which I thought
40:35was interesting
40:36because they are
40:37in the camp
40:38of none of these
40:39allegations are true,
40:40yet they have a couple
40:41times where they say
40:42there are ongoing
40:43allegations
40:45as if there's more
40:46to come out,
40:47which,
40:49on the beat,
40:50I have heard
40:50some rumors of things
40:51that journalists
40:52are tracking down,
40:53trying to find out
40:55the veracity
40:55of some of these things.
40:57But it makes me wonder
40:58what's in the water
40:59because for them
41:00to publish this,
41:02for them to do the fast,
41:03and all the different
41:04things that are
41:05kind of coming up,
41:06we're about to see
41:07something happen.
41:08But you talk about
41:09these minor prophets,
41:11there is another thing
41:12that he does
41:13throughout this
41:13is he refers
41:14to the end
41:15of this document,
41:16he says,
41:17that I have
41:18many faithful
41:20ministers
41:21and friends
41:22who are going
41:23to attest
41:24to my character
41:26and my
41:28calling
41:29or gifting
41:31as a prophet
41:32and he
41:33references
41:34this list,
41:35this appendix
41:36at the end
41:36of the document
41:36a handful of times
41:38throughout the 138 pages
41:39and what you find,
41:42my faithful witnesses
41:43and references
41:44is what he calls it
41:45and the listing
41:47of people here,
41:49he says,
41:50at Father Heart Church
41:51we're blessed
41:51to have many
41:52prophetic intercessors
41:53who are faithful
41:55witnesses
41:55and character references
41:57and so you can probably
41:58guess what he's about
41:58to do
42:00is he's literally
42:01just getting
42:02like Yelp reviews
42:03from his congregants
42:05is the equivalent
42:06of what he's doing
42:09and it's funny
42:10because the very first one
42:12is who I have
42:14through research
42:15I've kind of deduced
42:16I don't know
42:17if it's still
42:17a currently thing
42:18but at least at one point
42:19was his fiance
42:21is the first person
42:22who gives a testimony
42:24and then the rest
42:25of them are all
42:27pretty much leaders
42:29that he has
42:30and I don't know
42:31how this happens
42:31but through his own
42:32little ecosystem
42:33that he has ordained
42:35or commissioned
42:36and the way
42:37that he
42:39plays it up
42:40is that all of these people
42:41are people
42:42who can objectively
42:43speak about his character
42:45and his witness
42:48and I don't think
42:49that people
42:50easily see
42:51and I think
42:52that's why
42:52the work that you do
42:53is so important
42:54is I don't think
42:55that people see
42:58the tools of control
43:00that are used
43:01in these kind of things
43:02and so
43:02for these people
43:04to say something negative
43:05then they're going
43:07to have to
43:07give back
43:09their minister's license
43:10or ordination
43:11like all these different things
43:12that this guy
43:13has bestowed upon them
43:15there was even
43:16a conflict
43:18that you can find
43:19traces of
43:19in 2021
43:20with Father's Heart Church
43:22where someone
43:24publicly accused them
43:25of being a cult
43:25and it was the same
43:27type of thing
43:28that happened
43:28that the lady
43:30who was the fiance
43:31was the mediator
43:33of the whole dispute
43:34and even identified
43:35herself
43:36as the fiance
43:37and they talked
43:38about people
43:39whose families
43:40had split apart
43:41and
43:43that they had
43:44lost relationships
43:45and stuff
43:45because this person
43:46posted on social media
43:47that Father's Heart Church
43:49was a cult
43:49and that James Crawford
43:50was a cult leader
43:52I was trying
43:53to find the post
43:53I can't find the post
43:54I want to try
43:55to hunt this guy down
43:56because they mentioned
43:57him by name
43:57and ask him
44:00about
44:01all these things
44:01that they're talking about
44:02because they're being
44:03kind of shady about it
44:06but
44:06have you seen this before
44:08like as far as
44:09the system
44:10to where we
44:12deputize
44:13our own ministers
44:13and ordain them
44:14and then they become
44:15character references
44:16I think if I did that
44:17on a job application
44:18people would think
44:19I'm crazy
44:19there are quite a few
44:21but one of the funniest
44:22and when I use the word
44:23funniest I'm talking
44:24funny sad
44:25because this isn't
44:26this isn't something
44:27that we should laugh at
44:28one of the Branhamite
44:29ministers
44:29and I won't give his name
44:31was labeled by social media
44:33as the most racist
44:34pastor in America
44:36and the funny part
44:37is he was branded
44:38that because
44:39he quoted
44:40William Branham
44:41during the height
44:42of William Branham's
44:43Splatter Rain revivals
44:44so he is quoting
44:46the God's General
44:47he's saying exactly
44:50verbatim
44:50what the guy said
44:51and he gets branded
44:51as the most racist
44:52pastor in America
44:54wasn't his fault
44:55entirely
44:56except for the fact
44:57that he believed it
44:58and what he was saying
44:59is basically
45:00he was talking about
45:01interracial marriage
45:02and condemning it
45:03all of that kind of
45:05that kind of language
45:06from the 60s
45:07well he says it
45:08he gets branded
45:09and you can't really
45:11take away the fact
45:12that he said it
45:12he said it
45:13and it was there
45:14it's on recording
45:15it was on video even
45:16you can't take that away
45:18so what you get
45:18are a bunch of
45:20other people
45:20talking about
45:21the character of the man
45:23that said the very horrific thing
45:24this is a good guy
45:26that said this bad thing
45:28what they did
45:29I hate to say
45:30and I'm laughing
45:31because of the absurdity
45:33not because of
45:33this is awful
45:35he got
45:37a group of ministers
45:38to come
45:39and try to back him up
45:40and says
45:41I'm not a racist
45:42I even bought
45:43one of them
45:43a bicycle
45:45and it was just
45:46so racist
45:46the way that he said that
45:48it was awful
45:51but that's what he did
45:52and that was how it worked
45:54but the ministers
45:55were talking about
45:56his character
45:56not about the thing
45:57that you can't deny
45:59and that really goes back
46:01to what I said earlier
46:02when there is something
46:03of substance
46:04that you can't deny
46:05your brain tries to
46:06reconciling it
46:07by focusing on
46:08something else
46:09it'd be like
46:10this guy robbed a bank
46:11we can't deny
46:12that he robbed a bank
46:13but let's go talk
46:14to his family
46:15wasn't he a good boy
46:16Mrs. Smith
46:17and I have
46:18interestingly
46:19I just saw something
46:20like that on the news
46:21the other day
46:21this guy did this
46:22horrific thing
46:22well we talked
46:23to his family
46:24he was a good guy
46:24why did he do this
46:26and then take it
46:27a step further
46:27when they get into prison
46:28they're instantly saved
46:30I can't believe
46:31I lived this life
46:32God has saved me
46:33please decrease
46:35my sentence
46:35that's how it works
46:37because you're trying
46:37to take away
46:38you can't deny
46:39the thing that happened
46:40you try to
46:42remold and reshape
46:43the character
46:44of the guy
46:44that did the bad thing
46:46by claiming
46:46the character
46:47should not have
46:48allowed the bad thing
46:49and therefore
46:50focus on the character
46:51not the bad thing
46:52so it's
46:53it's a red herring
46:54kind of tactic
46:56I realize
46:57I didn't finish
46:57going through
46:58the four signs
46:59and I know
47:00that we're getting
47:00close to wrapping up
47:01so I wanted to
47:02hit on those
47:03real quick
47:03so
47:04kind of
47:04quickly review
47:05and so
47:06Mike is the
47:06Kansas City Star
47:07was the first sign
47:08the second sign
47:09was that there
47:09was going to be
47:10their good news
47:10was going to be
47:11told everywhere
47:11the third sign
47:13we kind of hit
47:14on the last time
47:14we talked
47:15which was his
47:16dream about
47:17Julie Meyer
47:18playing a guitar
47:21which Julie
47:22has been
47:22posting
47:23I think
47:24daily videos
47:25of her feasting
47:26and what she's
47:27been eating
47:27on Instagram
47:28in support
47:29of celebrating
47:29survivors
47:30and shared stories
47:31and love Julie
47:33she commented
47:33on the last video
47:34and so
47:35she's been
47:36very supportive
47:37but they're
47:37coming after her
47:39and the last
47:40one was
47:41from March
47:42that he kind
47:43of took this
47:44moment in March
47:45where he
47:45quote unquote
47:47and he attaches
47:47a video
47:48and I watch
47:49the video
47:49and it's weird
47:51but he cast
47:52out a demon
47:52from a witch
47:53that is present
47:54in his Zoom
47:55meeting church
47:56is what it is
47:57and that sign
47:58of him casting
47:59out the demon
47:59from this witch
48:00is confirmation
48:01that his prophetic
48:02word that followed
48:03is true
48:05and so
48:06it's again
48:07it's like
48:07one of those
48:07logic things
48:08of like
48:08okay
48:09what in the world
48:10but the way
48:11that he talks
48:12about it
48:13and you
48:13you saying
48:14this phrase
48:14is what
48:15triggered it
48:15again
48:15was he said
48:17that there
48:17is a massive
48:18head hunt
48:19underway
48:20against God's
48:21generals
48:21and that's
48:22where he talks
48:22about the witches
48:23and stuff
48:23but he uses
48:24that phrase
48:24God's generals
48:25and then begins
48:26to talk about
48:26Bickle and
48:27Joyner and
48:27Voight and all
48:28these different
48:29people
48:29I saw
48:30before we
48:31jumped on here
48:32today
48:32I saw like
48:32two or three
48:33days ago
48:33he posted
48:33something
48:34trying to
48:34defend
48:34Chris Reed
48:35like he
48:37is he's
48:38trying to
48:38I don't know
48:39what they're
48:40if they're
48:40paying him
48:40but they
48:41better be
48:41paying him
48:42good if
48:42they are
48:42because he's
48:43out here
48:43taking shots
48:44for all
48:45of these
48:46guys
48:47but those
48:48were the
48:48four signs
48:49that they
48:49went through
48:52that I
48:53guess says
48:54that Mike
48:54Bickle is
48:55still God's
48:56man and if
48:56you think
48:57otherwise
48:57then you're
48:58not God's
48:58man
49:00but there's
49:00also a lot
49:01of reframing
49:02that happens
49:02throughout the
49:03document
49:04that I'll just
49:05hit quickly
49:05on of
49:06reframing
49:07abuse
49:08that they
49:09pretty much
49:10say that
49:10most of the
49:11things that
49:12the reason
49:13they do it
49:13is they want
49:14to reframe
49:14all the things
49:14that Mike's
49:15being accused
49:15of as just
49:17hurting people
49:18and not
49:18necessarily
49:19abusing
49:19people
49:20and so
49:20he has a
49:21whole section
49:22where he
49:22does that
49:22I saw
49:23they had a
49:23whole church
49:25meeting where
49:25they talked
49:26about abuse
49:26and how
49:27abuse is
49:28overplayed
49:29these days
49:31so there
49:32was that
49:32whole thing
49:32there is
49:33a play
49:34on third
49:34party
49:34investigations
49:36and he
49:37directly
49:37says
49:38you know
49:38that the
49:38Firefly
49:39report
49:39doesn't
49:42use
49:42biblical
49:43principles
49:43it doesn't
49:44use this
49:45Holy Spirit
49:45and he
49:46says things
49:47like that
49:48the only
49:48thing that's
49:49needed
49:49in a church
49:50is the
49:50pastor
49:51God
49:51and the
49:52Holy Spirit
49:52as if
49:53they're
49:53different
49:54things
49:54which is
49:54funny to
49:55me
49:55but that's
49:59how he
49:59ends up
49:59framing
49:59third
50:00party
50:00investigations
50:01and then
50:02he has
50:02this moment
50:03where he
50:03inverts roles
50:04specifically
50:05with Julie
50:06Royce
50:06he says
50:07that God
50:08told him
50:09that Julie
50:09Royce
50:10is the
50:10predator
50:11who preyed
50:11on Mike
50:12and that
50:14Mike is
50:14not the
50:15predator
50:15and so
50:16they do
50:16this total
50:17flip
50:18on that
50:19and then
50:20I hit on
50:20earlier about
50:21how that
50:21they talked
50:22about protecting
50:23your social
50:24circle
50:24and your
50:25circle
50:25of influence
50:26and listening
50:26to these
50:27voices
50:27like you
50:27and I
50:28John
50:28who talk
50:29about it
50:29that they
50:30need to
50:30block
50:31remove
50:31or mark
50:32them
50:33you know
50:34and so
50:34that's where
50:35they talk
50:35about blocking
50:35people on
50:36social media
50:38see the direct
50:39quote is
50:39reject or mark
50:40the individual
50:40this may involve
50:41blocking them
50:42on social media
50:43removing them
50:44from group
50:44settings
50:45or ending
50:46personal
50:46associations
50:47to guard
50:48your peace
50:48and spiritual
50:49health
50:49and they also
50:50use language
50:51like boundaries
50:52at one point
50:53that you need
50:53to establish
50:54boundaries
50:55to keep
50:55your family
50:56healthy
50:57which again
50:58is one of
50:59those half
50:59true things
51:00that are
51:00used to
51:01legitimize
51:02themselves
51:03and the
51:04final thing
51:05that I'll
51:06call attention
51:07to was that
51:08the newsboys
51:09lawsuit was
51:10brought up
51:10against the
51:11the Roy's
51:11report
51:12and the way
51:14that he
51:14frames it
51:15in this
51:15is that
51:16it's divine
51:16vindication
51:17that this
51:18lawsuit is
51:19proof
51:20that God
51:21is on our
51:21side
51:22because
51:22they filed
51:23a lawsuit
51:24against the
51:24Roy's
51:25report
51:25so therefore
51:26God is for
51:27us who can
51:28be against
51:28us
51:30and the
51:30final
51:31baseball
51:31analogy
51:32that I've
51:32ran into
51:33the ground
51:33I forgot
51:34to tell you
51:34I'm a
51:35baseball
51:35firejump
51:37vindicated
51:37you
51:38you vindicated
51:39me
51:39yes I did
51:42so what
51:43the final part
51:44of this
51:44and this is
51:45really for me
51:45this is the
51:46scary part
51:47because the
51:48verbiage that
51:49he's using
51:49the witch
51:49hunt etc
51:50what he
51:51doesn't
51:51realize is
51:52he's actually
51:53doing the
51:54thing that
51:54he says
51:55that the
51:55other people
51:56are doing
51:56so in that
51:57example
51:57you've got
51:58three or four
51:58people in the
51:59stands who
51:59say hey
52:00that guy
52:00he's not
52:01throwing it
52:01across the
52:02plate
52:02get him
52:03out
52:03eject this
52:03guy
52:04put in
52:04a good
52:04picture
52:05well suddenly
52:06the picture
52:06rises up
52:07and says
52:07it's a
52:08conspiracy
52:08there's a
52:09witch hunt
52:10these guys
52:11need to be
52:12excommunicated
52:12and then the
52:13mob rises up
52:14to eject the
52:15people who are
52:15noticing that
52:16wait a minute
52:16that guy's not
52:17a picture the
52:18mob starts to
52:20form and
52:21whether he
52:22uses the
52:23violent language
52:23or not
52:24whenever you
52:25can form a
52:26mob by
52:27simply coercing
52:28people to
52:29rise up against
52:31individuals who
52:32are witnessing
52:33that there's
52:34something wrong
52:35you are the
52:36person who's
52:36creating a
52:37witch hunt
52:37there's no
52:38two ways about
52:39it you are the
52:39person that's
52:40doing this
52:41and he's just
52:42one of many
52:43that are
52:43doing it
52:43I've watched
52:44as the
52:45news breaks
52:46I've watched
52:47the churches
52:47that are
52:47targeted by
52:48the news
52:49whenever
52:49somebody
52:50some victim
52:51rises up
52:52and says
52:52hey I was
52:53victimized
52:53here
52:54you watch
52:54what happens
52:55within the
52:55church
52:56they start
52:57to form
52:57a mob
52:57mentality
52:58we have
53:00to eradicate
53:01this
53:01and what it
53:02is I
53:02mentioned
53:03this with
53:03Bob
53:03what's
53:05really
53:05happening
53:05is
53:06the
53:07individuals
53:07who are
53:08the
53:08victims
53:09they
53:09challenge
53:10the
53:10mythology
53:11and so
53:12the group
53:13once you're
53:14in that
53:14mythology
53:15mindset
53:15you can't
53:17have anything
53:17break the
53:17mythology
53:18if you do
53:19you break
53:19the religion
53:20there's no
53:20movement
53:20so the
53:21person who's
53:22challenging
53:22your mythology
53:23you have to
53:23eradicate them
53:24and the sad
53:25part about
53:26this is
53:26there are
53:27examples in
53:28history
53:28you can go
53:29back
53:29whenever
53:29a speaker
53:31does this
53:32when he
53:32creates the
53:33mob
53:33when he
53:34creates the
53:34actual
53:34witch hunt
53:35there are
53:36sometimes
53:36individuals
53:37who aren't
53:38who are
53:39suffering with
53:40mental health
53:40issues
53:41that may
53:41take it
53:41a step
53:42further
53:42than they
53:42actually
53:43said to
53:43do
53:43and that's
53:45really where
53:45this whole
53:46thing for
53:46me
53:46it gets
53:47really
53:47scary
53:48that's
53:49exactly
53:49what's
53:50been on
53:50my mind
53:50as well
53:51as I'm
53:51seeing
53:51as I was
53:52thinking about
53:52these splinter
53:53groups happening
53:53and from
53:55what history
53:56has told us
53:56is that
53:57these cult
53:57groups
53:58as they
53:58get smaller
53:59and smaller
54:00they get
54:00more and more
54:01intense
54:02usually
54:02they double
54:03down on
54:04these things
54:04the language
54:05starts taking
54:06a turn
54:06in ways
54:07that are
54:07kind of
54:08scary
54:09and you
54:10see
54:10and it's
54:11so hard
54:12because like
54:12you say
54:13many of
54:13these people
54:14I think
54:15are
54:16innocent
54:17in
54:18certain ways
54:20that they
54:21have
54:21their brains
54:22have been
54:22hijacked
54:23by these
54:23people
54:25they've been
54:26coerced into
54:26believing these
54:27things
54:27and their
54:28whole existence
54:29is built
54:30around it
54:30and then
54:31therefore
54:32they act
54:32out of
54:33that
54:33like you're
54:34saying
54:36they see
54:37everything
54:38outside
54:38as an
54:39existential
54:39threat
54:40and once
54:41you start
54:41crossing
54:42that line
54:44with violent
54:46language
54:46it's
54:47scary
54:48it's scary
54:49because
54:49like
54:50they see
54:52us as
54:52the ones
54:53on the
54:53other end
54:53of that
54:54like that's
54:54how they
54:55view that
54:56and that's
54:57kind of
54:58sobering
54:58and sad
54:59but
55:02keep an
55:02eye on
55:02them
55:03yeah
55:04absolutely
55:05well thanks
55:06for bringing
55:06this up
55:07it's been
55:08a little
55:08bit
55:09triggering
55:09honestly
55:10to read
55:10through
55:10this
55:11I read
55:12that
55:12language
55:12and I
55:13know
55:13exactly
55:13what's
55:14going
55:14on
55:14in
55:14those
55:15heads
55:15and
55:15yeah
55:15it's
55:16really
55:16for me
55:16it's
55:17really
55:17sad
55:17so
55:18thank
55:18you
55:18so
55:18much
55:18for
55:18doing
55:18this
