00:01She didn't want to be near me at all.
00:03She would actively go out of her way to avoid me.
00:06The rescue asked me if I would foster and they said she was feral.
00:10Feral dogs are essentially wild animals that have never been socialized with humans.
00:21The growling, that is her only way of communicating with me.
00:26The first month I was in over my head.
00:33The only thing Blossom was comfortable around was other dogs and that was very clear from day one.
00:42I would start bringing my dogs in and just having her watch me pet them, having her watch me interact
00:48with them.
00:55After about two and a half months, I was finally able to pet her head slightly.
01:02But eventually, after four and a half months, she got to go outside, which she loved.
01:07That is kind of where we had a breakthrough.
01:09It just like opened up a bunch of doors for her.
01:13The Blossom that I first picked up was a wild animal.
01:17And then the dog I see now, she's a complete 180.
01:26Usually, emotional roller coasters lead you to some good places and I think that's what she did for me.
01:35The Blossom so far.
