Once she got better, she turned into a COMPLETELY different dog! We talked to Delilah's rescuer about finding her on the street, and her mom Amelia told us how she is such a good girl now

00:00The moment I saw her, I was just shocked at how bad her skin was.

00:04You're a sweet little thing, aren't you?

00:06You can tell from her tail that she was just the sweetest little dog.

00:09Hello, little one.

00:11Because she was so approachable, it was clear that she had at one point had some human love and human touch.

00:17But at that point, I didn't have any rescue supplies with me,

00:21so my partner and I scooted home and I raced back that she had gone.

00:25So I bussed off to find this little baby.

00:28He messaged me that night saying, yep, we've got her.

00:31So the next morning, I scooted back up to the market.

00:34And then when I arrived, little Delilah just looked so sad.

00:37Hey, darling girl. It's okay.

00:47And from there, things just really took a turn for the better for Delilah.

00:51And I visited her as much as possible.

00:53Hi!

00:55Hello.

00:56And you could just see, day by day, her skin condition just getting better and better and better.

01:05What a good girl you are.

01:07When she came to me, she got off the car and immediately started wagging her tail.

01:12To be honest, she was always out of her shell.

01:22Within days or maybe a week, she was literally following me everywhere, including to the bathroom.

01:28My guess is she didn't have time to properly be a puppy when she was on the street.

01:35So I think when she got here and she got comfortable, her puppy personality just kind of showed up.

01:41She really loves going to the beach and have all the zoomies in the world.

01:48I think every sign pointed at the direction that we were fit for one another.

01:54I think we hit a jackpot with Delilah.

01:56She's just like a happy-go-lucky little kid.
