00:03We're pretty positive she's a puppy mill dog that got dumped

00:05based on how she looked yesterday and how she's been acting.

00:08I was completely shocked when I first saw her.

00:11I can't believe someone would do that to her.

00:13She's perfect.

00:14Despite what Lucy had been through,

00:16she felt safe enough to follow me to the car.

00:28I'm just upset for this dog, you know?

00:32You can see in her eyes.

00:34She's been through so much.

00:48The first 24 hours were really challenging.

00:51The next morning, I found her curled up in a corner.

01:06It was as if it was her first time she had ever been outside.

01:20It's only been a week, and it feels like Lucy has truly left her past behind, and she finally

01:25gets to have a normal life.
