00:00One more day and I don't even know if she would have made it.

00:03No.

00:04She had lost all muscle mass from being tied so tight to the wall.

00:08I'm crying.

00:10Does someone want to help? I'm afraid I'll get bit.

00:13We were on our way home from dinner and we saw Twiggy.

00:16I said, Melissa, I think there's a dog attached to that wall.

00:20I do rescue in Puerto Rico and the indifference that exists, that is one of the biggest problems.

00:28When I pulled up and I saw her chain, when there is an emergency situation, you don't have a choice.

00:35Oh my God, Julie. It's a puppy. Is it a puppy, right?

00:40Yeah, it's a teeny. It doesn't even have its canines yet. It's young.

00:43Oh, baby.

00:45Look at it. My hands are shaking.

00:48Oh my gosh, I love you.

00:51I'm going to take you to the vet, okay?

00:53I saw her on Facebook and they asked for a foster.

00:57After seeing her video, I just couldn't help myself. I had to volunteer, you know.

01:01Once she came to me, she could barely stand up and she was just so resilient and so happy the whole time.

01:07I show everybody we learn about choice.

01:10Everything she's been through, nothing's stopping her. She's loving life.

01:20The first time she ever played in my swimming pool, that was it for me.

01:23I was like, I've always wanted a water dog, one I can take out for adventures and stuff.

01:28She recovered pretty quickly and now she's a spunky little pup, I'll tell you.

01:34This dog fears nothing and I love that about her.

01:42I was like, nope, I'm not letting this one go. I'm sorry. She's mine.
