00:00He seriously didn't even look like a dog.
00:02When I first saw him, I literally said,
00:05oh my gosh, give me that dog.
00:08Good morning, sweet boy.
00:11I'm going to be fostering him
00:13until we feel he is medically ready to be adopted.
00:16He would take a couple of steps and fall down.
00:21Oh gosh, gosh, gosh.
00:22He has one eye that's ruptured and his teeth are so bad.
00:28I know.
00:30Yeah.
00:31He had a lot of bandages on his front legs
00:33and he was very stiff when he walked.
00:35You want to come to me?
00:37Hi, are we going to potty?
00:39Good boy.
00:40Come on, good morning.
00:44Okay, come on.
00:46He was so tiny, my cats were double his size.
00:56Yeager, don't ruin it.
00:58Yeager, be nice.
01:02The first few months, he needed non-stop care.
01:06This one is your hand if I had it.
01:08I know, but you don't like this.
01:29Slowly, slowly, he was getting better.
01:33We figured out who is this dog and what is all of this fur?
01:40Like, every bit of him is starting to grow here.
01:43Even his back.
01:49We figured out that his spinal discs were being compressed and that's why he couldn't walk.
01:54So we started him on physical therapy and he got injections of enzymes that help break down the compressed spinal
02:00cords.
02:00And now he walks great.
02:03He really looks like a completely different dog.
02:06Now, Freddie is adopted by an amazing mama who happens to be a very close-by neighbor, so I get
02:13to see him whenever I want.
02:24There's no better feeling than seeing Freddie happy and healthy now when I just didn't know if he would even
02:30make it.
02:33He's going to be a very close-by-bye.
02:37He's going to be a very close-by-bye.
02:42He's going to be a very close-by-bye.
