00:00I cheated, I got a glimpse, and now I'm going in.
00:04If someone asks you, what do you do,
00:05and you say, I'm a professional organizer,
00:07everyone is like, wait, what, what is that?
00:09I want to know everything, like, who do you work for?
00:11Who do you work with?
00:12It's something that people don't forget.
00:15Wow, guys, this is a lot more organized.
00:32Hey, I'm Jordan Santoro.
00:34I'm Kathleen Celia Simmons.
00:35I'm Nicole Dines.
00:36We are an organized home.
00:38We kind of chose that word
00:40because I think a lot of organizing companies tend to focus on the organizing,
00:44which is what we do, but we wanted to add the unorganized home
00:47because we want clients to feel safe with us and know that that's why we're there.
00:52I think a lot of people should expect to pay around $800 a day as, like, a minimum.
00:57Organizing, we think, is a luxury service, but we want it to be attainable to everyone.
01:02If you tell us your budget is $500, we will work backwards from there
01:06and be realistic of, like, this is what we can do.
01:08We've been friends with Shae for a long time,
01:11so today we'll be going to the base office and helping them move into that office.
01:16We love working with Shae.
01:17She's so lighthearted and fun and easy to work with.
01:20Thank you, guys.
01:21You're welcome.
01:21Love you.
01:22Bye.
01:23Love you a lot.
01:24Bye.
01:24We're really excited to get to see you here today.
01:26Before this, we were able to do a walkthrough of the base office
01:30and kind of get a layout of the land, see where we can improve upon it.
01:35Because this is the biggest space, it feels like if we tackle this first,
01:39then we know to save space for all the other spaces that are going to be filtering into this one.
01:44We will be pulling everything out of here, and then we'll be bringing in the team,
01:48and they can kind of tell us what is going to stay and what's going to go, what its purpose
01:52is.
01:53So then once we're in here, then we can build our racks.
01:56Essentially, every area of the storage room will have a category.
02:00This is technically the secondary closet.
02:02It's like big boxes of stuff that we probably just don't need.
02:05So we're really just trying to pull all this out, see what categories it is,
02:09and filter stuff back in upstairs.
02:11This is the gifting closet, so all fun gifts that go out to guests.
02:17Tomorrow we're going to make this really cute.
02:18The final closet is this. I think this is an extension of the front desk office area,
02:23so I think it's crucial for whoever's running the office, managing the office.
02:26This can feel like a space that they can go and grab essentials from.
02:29We've worked together for so long that someone knows if someone's having an internal panic attack.
02:34Oh yeah, which happens at least once a day from one of us.
02:37We always say that organizing is like pull out, sort, purge, panic.
02:42And then you organize.
02:43Yeah, yeah.
02:43Okay guys, we need to start. We need to purge.
02:46I've worked here for two years. Casey's worked here five years total.
02:50We definitely need to get rid of things. We've been avoiding this closet for the last year,
02:53so it's time to just clear out.
02:55We worked previously together as organizers for a different company, and that's how we met.
03:00We all left the other company for different reasons at different times.
03:03It kind of happened organically. Jordan and I wanted to work together, and we needed business help,
03:09which is what Nicole is so good at.
03:11It was the third piece of the puzzle that was definitely very needed.
03:16We found a box of robes we've been looking for for about 18 months, so thank you.
03:22We've experienced working with people over the past eight years who thought they wanted
03:26to be an organizer, and they tried it, and they're like, this is the worst thing ever.
03:29Why would you do this? And it is a lot of physical labor and brain power at the same time,
03:34so I think it's putting in the reps.
03:36Oh my gosh, the hardest part is the lifting.
03:38Yeah, I think the hardest part is physical.
03:39Not for me.
03:41Okay.
03:41I'm just kidding.
03:42This will be dialed by tomorrow.
03:44Easy.
03:44But there's three other closets that are just like looming that I want to get perfect.
03:49When we started this business, something that was important to us is that we could
03:53create the life we wanted. Every Monday, it's non-negotiable. We work nine to five,
03:57and we are doing admin, and like really putting in the time with the business,
04:01and then we try to take clients Tuesday through Thursdays, and then Fridays are actually off.
04:05We haven't organized yet, but I'm going to show you.
04:08Oh my gosh, that was stacked full. It was so chaotic before. I'm sorry.
04:13We had props from like this shoot, that shoot. There's no rhyme or reason for it.
04:18Right.
04:18Which is why we needed you.
04:21Yeah.
04:21We see a lot of our clients, they always say like,
04:23oh, we didn't know we had that. And like the whole point is that they like,
04:26back to the sustainability aspect, they buy less or they know exactly what they have.
04:31I think with TikTok, I've seen a lot of almost overconsumption. You need to like,
04:35decant this into this other container, and then put it on this thing, and then put it,
04:38it's like, let's be cognizant, let's be conscious, let's reuse, reduce, recycle.
04:42It's bad, no hoarder in a way, because a client will throw out a piece of paper,
04:46and I'm like, this is great for a craft.
04:50So many people are living such busy lives, especially here, we live in Los Angeles,
04:55and people are hustling. And sometimes it's a couple with kids, and they're focused on their
05:01kids. And it's like, how much effort can they put into making their home a space that feels
05:05really functional and peaceful and a sanctuary for their families. And I think it's hard to put
05:12energy and effort into that when you have so many other things on your mind. We want to be able
05:16to
05:16take that off of people's plates when we go into their homes. They're investing in us for a reason,
05:20we want to make sure they're happy and the space looks pretty, but also like, we did it in six
05:24hours,
05:24eight hours, what would take anyone weeks. Being organizers, we sometimes feel like we're
05:30therapists. And I think kind of merging into the wellness world is a lot different than just
05:35being someone who's like color-coordinated closet. I think it's knowing when to push and when to not
05:40push. We've had so many heavy family situations. We're literally sitting with them like this close,
05:48going through every item, and it's emotional. And we're just really good at having that patience and
05:54that empathy to know what's going on and to help them understand that it's okay to let something
06:01go that someone gave you 30 years ago or something like that. It's grief, it's divorce, it's having
06:05a kid, it's losing a kid, it's losing a husband, it's losing a grandparent. We want to be with our
06:11clients throughout their life as well. It's like you begin a friendship. We're back for day two.
06:17When everything was happening here in Los Angeles with the fires, we made a pledge to help people get
06:22into their spaces wherever that may be, moving them in with their family, moving them into a home
06:26somewhere else, giving them advice from far away if they moved. To be able to assist in that process
06:31I think is what we knew we wanted to do to give back. There's so many things to think about
06:35for them.
06:36They mentally cannot deal with stuff. It's so traumatizing. They're dealing with insurance and
06:43all this other stuff. We come in and we're just like, don't worry about anything. We'll figure it out.
06:48And we just put away everything in their house where it should be. And that's been like such
06:52a blessing for us to be able to feel like we're doing something that helps. We're really excited.
06:57We feel good about where we're at. We'll be back next week holding a piece of cheese. One of the
07:02most
07:02rewarding things is doing it together. And then also you're always improving someone's lives and you
07:07walk away helping them feel better. I feel very proud of it. I feel proud. The biggest success is that
07:13we
07:13moved all of the stuff from the downstairs closet that was packed full and this is where all of
07:19that stuff went. So we gained a room by just organizing this room. The windows before had
07:25ripped paper over them. Now we added these cute little linen curtains and it just gives the whole
07:32room a different vibe I think. So this space was filled. There was a huge rack here that just had
07:37stuff on it. This piece was just floating like had no home. It happened to fit perfectly there and
07:44Nicole filled it with a bunch of office supplies. They pull out for meetings right out here. So this
07:51is our prop closet. The fun thing about this one all of these we didn't actually buy any product for
07:57this closet. These were all reused from a backdrop. Midway through organizing last time we discovered
08:03this bonus closet. This was not dialed but now it is quite dialed. Shae's gonna be stoked for sure.
08:09I'm just excited for her and the team that works here to see everything. Wow guys this is a lot
08:17more
08:17organized. I can see everything. These are actually all faces bins. You had all of these? I swear I have
08:26been up here many times. I just didn't know it because it was so clustered and I would just walk
08:30right out.
08:32I cheated. I got a glimpse and now I'm going in. Oh my god who knew there was a whole
08:39other room in
08:40here. There's a sink. It works. Oh my god. This was completely shoved and I literally would just
08:51Oh wow. How much glue do we need? I know. I've been buying this. I have kids that love slime.
08:58What am I
08:59doing? Yeah. You're so welcome. You're so happy. It's so good. Oh my god. This is so good. There's an
09:05overall presence that I think the three of us have together where it really just puts someone at ease
09:10because we are silly. We are lighthearted. Like we really enjoy working together. Yes. And we really
09:16enjoy being together on our off days as well. Like we're together all the time. Constantly. It doesn't
09:20feel like a job sometimes. You're like yeah hanging out and you love what you do with your best friends.
09:24We've had a handful of clients reach out who have said like oh we want to hire you for a
09:30friend of
09:30ours because of your comedy. Yes that's happened. But they were like we just need someone who can be
09:34lighthearted because this is like a hard situation and I think that's hard to find. When they come to
09:40our platform we want people to see us. We do love what we do and we love helping people and
09:45that we are
09:45fun and funny and silly. There's an energy that I think that we bring that people really enjoy.
