04:53who's in his third year who's had the super bowl appearance even though it wasn't a great performance

06:00and in that locker room he's viewed as like he's the leader now everybody doesn't have to be the
06:05most vocal i always talk about troy brown being a great leader and troy wasn't very vocal so it's
06:10just really based on your personality it's more about the respect level that there you go and and
06:15dante will tell you this it's about how your teammates view you when they see you work how you
06:21prepare how you study that determines whether or not you're a leader precisely because i've seen some
06:26vets that it's like don't follow that guy right yeah even though he's been in the league eight
06:31nine ten years has stats like don't follow him don't do that he may can get away with that you

06:36so i don't think it's about age i think is what we could just say it's about leadership mahomes was
06:41probably the leader of the chiefs within two or three years yeah why does he walk that way though

07:10that we played how like how much damage do you think you would have done because now if you look
07:16at kickoff returns they basically are saying all right this has to be now a major part of the game
07:21and with all those guys being on like kind of like the same level do you think it would be

07:26to return kicks in today's game versus when we played and you know guys had 40 yard head starts and
07:32there was wedges and all types of crazy stuff yeah i i believe wholeheartedly that um it was much
07:39easier to take a kick to the house and return kicks when i played simply because of the alignment
07:46now you have guys already in position within 25 yards so you don't really have a lot of guys getting
07:51out of their lanes as a return man we want them running 60 yards downfield because at some point
07:58somebody is going to mess up and get out of their lanes and that's when you get a big hole
08:02and you can
08:03take advantage of it now it's very very difficult to break in my opinion and um just look at the
08:08stats
08:09i mean they were a lot better this season but overall you're going to have way more return
08:15for touchdowns during my era during our era then you will now just simply because of you have no
08:21wedges the guys are already in position to cover the kicks like you have all 11 guys down in position

11:39you were done yeah when brady had it it was a still a big question of what's he how long

11:45going to take him to get back and what's he going to be like but i think for me it

11:49peterson came back as a running back a quarterback okay you put a brace on they changed a couple of
11:54rules that you can't touch it but when adrian peterson came back nine months and never had an issue again
12:00i think that just shows you where medicine is in sports and yeah that's why everyone feels the
12:05way we feel like he's going to come back he he'll probably be stronger and it won't be an issue

12:09only thing i'm going to be concerned about the difference tom brady doesn't use his legs right
12:14patrick uses his legs so it'll be interesting to see how he looks as far as being mobile because a

12:20of his big plays were used with his legs opposed to uh tom brady so that'd be something to watch

12:27i count on him coming back and then and why are the chiefs building more around like i i always
12:31thought the chiefs would see the patriots and how the second part of the dynasty they left some wins
12:35there because they didn't put enough around brady so he left like the chiefs off season i feel like
12:40it's been not great like i disagree really yeah because um if you look at the chiefs yeah obviously
12:45everyone wants to talk about my homes during the championship i'm looking at the game different
12:49the defense that we had at the time allowed him and gave him time to either make a comeback
12:56and be in position to be great on the last you know fourth quarter drive but you need defense and
13:01i think that's where we have suffered trying to build around my homes um and now the defense kind
13:06of you know took a um step back last the last few seasons which is why the chiefs have looked

13:13they've looked so i think they're doing the right thing get the defense strong you got a solid running
13:17game my homes can make everyone else great so i disagree i absolutely love what they've done this
