00:00In the 2018 was superior and they had a couple of streaks that were long, but
00:04as you mentioned about the earlier tweet, it's been since 1935 that they won 11 in a row and then
00:1418 in a row in that season, or I'm sorry, 21 in a row, 11 and 21. 21 is the
00:22all-time cub record
00:24for wins in a row during a baseball season. So it is unique and I don't know if the players
00:36are surprised. I think the council and the coaching staff front office are surprised that
00:42they've been able to do so much with so many injuries, so many pitching injuries along the
00:48way, losing Horton, losing Boyd now twice, the news on Steele that he won't be back, if
00:56at all, until late in the summer now. So many things that could have devastated them and
01:03it hasn't. It's made them stronger. Guys have come up and replaced the injured pitchers like
01:09Theobar and Hunter Harvey. They've stepped in and done a great job.
01:15So, you know, and I left out that Palencia was out for three weeks now back in there
01:21and having to come in in a blowout game and save that today. So, um, a lot, just a lot
01:26of great things have happened and council was asked if he expected this type of play to continue
01:32and he basically said, no, you know, it's just like, it's not going to be like this all
01:38year. Uh, very few teams have ever done that. Even the, uh, 1906, uh, Cubs probably had a streak
01:47of some losses when they won 116 games. And that's the record along with the Seattle Mariners
01:53of 2001. But, um, you know, it's still may. So there's, there's an awful lot of things going
01:59on and they've just started to play in their division. They played one series with Pittsburgh.
02:04Now they've made a nice early season statement against Cincinnati, sweeping them four in a row
02:11and putting them back and making them think a little bit about who they are after they lost
02:16their, uh, closer to injury for the next two months. Um, this has been a really devastating
02:23series, I think for the Reds.
