00:19When bystanders detain a man accused of filming a mom and her young daughter in a public restroom,
00:25officers step in to defuse a tense situation, but a risky move from the suspect leads officers
00:31to question what other disturbing secrets he may be trying to hide.
00:35Because you didn't have time to delete the pictures you were trying to delete.
00:39What are we going to find on your phone?
00:40The following is based on official police records, and the footage has never been seen
00:44before until now.
00:46Please note that all persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent unless and until
00:50proven guilty in a court of law.
00:52On December 6, 2025, dispatchers in Kitsap County, Washington receive a 911 call about
00:58an incident unfolding at the annual Krampus Festival.
01:02This is Kitsap 911.
01:03What are you reporting?
01:04Yes.
01:04Hi.
01:05I was in the bathroom and there was a guy taking a picture on the stove.
01:09Can you please call my children?
01:11Call her.
01:12What is the address, sir?
01:13I am so sorry.
01:15My husband is trying to stop the guy from leaving.
01:17Okay.
01:17What is the address, sir?
01:19We're right here by Bigfoot House.
01:22As a second call comes in, it's clear the situation is beginning to escalate.
01:27We got someone who was trying to leave the premises after taking a picture of a woman
01:31in the bathroom, and now he's trying to run.
01:34From what?
01:34And now he's getting combative about leaving.
01:36Why are you touching me?
01:38Has anything been physical?
01:39Like, has anyone touched anyone?
01:41Uh, someone just asked him about it and then he immediately ran into them to try and knock
01:46him over to get out of the area.
01:47Are we physically detaining him?
01:49Uh, we got two people, yes, because he's starting to swing.
01:52Get your fingers out of there, sir.
01:55Get your fingers out of there, sir.
01:55Get your fingers out of there, sir.
01:57Can you hear him?
01:59I can't hear him.
02:00I can't hear him.
02:01I can't hear him.
02:02Had to work somewhere else, not here.
02:04Officers with the Bremerton Police Department quickly arrived to find that the suspect
02:08and bystanders have been separated by festival security.
02:11He might want to talk.
02:13I think he took his wing house away.
02:14Yeah.
02:15Um, but this gentleman.
02:16So who's he?
02:17He apparently was in the woman's bathroom.
02:19Okay.
02:19He took pictures of a lady.
02:20Okay.
02:20So he hasn't zippered him.
02:22I got...
02:23What happened to your face?
02:25I got...
02:25I beat up.
02:25I beat up.
02:27I went in the bathroom.
02:28I got confused.
02:30Wrong.
02:30Wrong.
02:31Nothing.
02:33I got tired.
02:34Okay.
02:35Another officer speaks with the victim's husband, who explains his version of events.
02:39I was over here just getting some books signed by them.
02:42Okay.
02:43I heard my wife scream and she said that he was taking a picture of her.
02:46So that's when I stopped him breaking up the ground ribbon.
02:48Okay.
02:49What'd you do from then?
02:51I asked him why he was taking a picture of her.
02:54Then everything just escalated.
02:56Yeah.
02:57The officer lets the suspect know he's being detained and isn't free to leave before reading
03:02his Miranda rights.
03:03So it looks like your eye probably from the glasses.
03:06They hit him.
03:07Somebody hit you.
03:08Okay.
03:09I went in the wrong bathroom.
03:11You went in the wrong bathroom.
03:12Okay.
03:13And then what happened?
03:14I walked out and people are keeping me at you.
03:18Okay.
03:18Why is your zipper undone?
03:20Because I always forget.
03:22A lot of times I forget things.
03:24You forget to zip it?
03:25Yeah.
03:25So you went in the wrong bathroom and you recognized it was the wrong bathroom and you
03:28left?
03:28Is that what you're saying?
03:29Yes.
03:30But your zipper is down?
03:31Because I forget.
03:33Alright.
03:33Alright.
03:34Were you doing anything else in there?
03:36It seems like maybe.
03:37Did you have your phone out?
03:38No, I didn't.
03:39You didn't have your phone out?
03:41Did you have a camera or something else?
03:42Well, I have my phone on YouTube.
03:43I'm looking at YouTube.
03:44I'm looking at YouTube.
03:45Okay.
03:46Do you have any ID on here?
03:48I do.
03:48Can I look at it?
03:50I appreciate it.
03:51They identify the man as 48-year-old Brian Leroy Group and we'll soon hear more of his
03:56side of the story.
03:58In the meantime, an officer speaks with one of the victims to better understand what happened
04:02in the women's restroom.
04:04Well, I went into the bathroom to, you know, use the stall.
04:08There was only one open.
04:10But when I went in there, I saw a phone underneath taking a picture.
04:15And when I started yelling, the door wide open.
04:19But my daughter had just gotten in there before me.
04:22Did you see anything on the phone that kind of showed that it was taking pictures or video
04:27or anything like that?
04:28No, no, no.
04:29Do you remember what, like, direction the phone was facing?
04:33Was, like, the screen faced up?
04:34Like that.
04:34Okay.
04:35Yeah.
04:35Police also spoke with the victim's daughter who had gone into the stall first.
04:39But if Brian recorded or photographed her, she was completely unaware.
04:44I've been drinking.
04:45I'm tired.
04:47I wasn't.
04:48Oh, I'm not saying.
04:49Okay.
04:49You've been drinking?
04:50Yeah.
04:51Yeah, you look a little tired.
04:52Yeah.
04:52So I got confused.
04:54You were in one of the stalls.
04:56You had your phone.
04:58Yeah.
04:58Okay.
04:59Yes.
05:00Did you record anything?
05:02What's that?
05:03Did you record anything on your phone?
05:04No, I didn't.
05:05So if we looked on your phone, there wouldn't be any videos?
05:08No.
05:09Did you go to bathroom while you were in there?
05:10Yeah.
05:11I took number two.
05:12Number two?
05:13Okay.
05:13The officer takes the discussion outside, away from store patrons.
05:17But one problem is still on full display.
05:22You can zip up your pants.
05:25Probably a good idea.
05:30That's okay.
05:31Do you have your phone on you still?
05:34I do.
05:34Alright.
05:35Do you mind opening it?
05:37No.
05:38You don't want to?
05:40No.
05:40I do.
05:42Do I have rights?
05:43You definitely have rights.
05:45You have rights.
05:45I mean, but, if you showed and we saw that there was nothing on there, then it'd be
05:51pretty quick.
05:52Do you ask him at his phone?
05:53What's that?
05:53Yeah, we're doing that now.
05:54Brian takes out his phone, but when the officer notices he appears to be deleting something,
05:59the situation spirals.
06:01Okay.
06:02Well, actually, I'm going to take that.
06:03I'm going to take that.
06:04Okay.
06:04Give her the phone now.
06:06Give her the phone.
06:07Okay.
06:08Nope.
06:08I'm putting my cuffs.
06:10You're under arrest.
06:11You're under arrest.
06:12You're under arrest.
06:13You're under arrest.
06:14Stop fighting.
06:14Stop fighting.
06:16It's okay.
06:17Stop fighting.
06:18Stop fighting.
06:19Stop fighting.
06:20Get him on the ground.
06:21On the ground.
06:21On the ground.
06:22On the ground.
06:23Hey, hey.
06:24Calm down.
06:25Hey, do you hear me?
06:26Yeah.
06:27Calm down.
06:27Why am I here, man?
06:29You're being arrested because there's probable cause to arrest you.
06:31And as soon as you start doing what you're doing, you get more probable cause for resisting.
06:35Okay.
06:36So stop it, please.
06:38These guys are asking you nicely.
06:40Yeah.
06:41He was starting to delete.
06:43He was trying to delete.
06:44He was trying to delete.
06:44He was trying to delete.
06:45Oh, okay.
06:46Good call.
06:47All right.
06:47We've already read your rights.
06:49Those still apply.
06:50Now you're officially under arrest.
06:52We're going to take your phone.
06:54We're going to get a warrant for your phone.
06:56What are we going to find on there?
06:58Because you didn't have time to delete the pictures you were trying to delete.
07:01What are we going to find on your phone?
07:03It's not worth lying because we are going to get a warrant.
07:05We are going to find pictures.
07:07He doesn't answer, but it's far too late.
07:09As the contents of his phone will later prove to be so vile, it defies explanation.
07:15Here's the problem.
07:16Your resistance is an indication that what went on in that bathroom is exactly what the
07:22people said it was.
07:23And that's why there will be a warrant written for your phone.
07:27So shouldn't I come later?
07:29Come later?
07:32Or...
07:33Come later for what?
07:34No, you're going to jail today.
07:36I understand.
07:37Yeah, there's no coming back later.
07:38After declining medical care for his eye, Brian is placed in the back of a cruiser,
07:43a place that may not be unfamiliar to him.
07:45According to police records, Brian has a criminal history, having been previously charged with
07:50child...
07:51in the first degree, as well as residential burglary with...
07:55motivation.
07:57He's a registered...
07:58Yes.
07:59Shocker.
07:59After securing a warrant for Brian's phone, investigators located 47 separate files containing
08:05CSAM, or child abuse material, with many of the female victims appearing to be between
08:11seven and nine years old.
08:13Six videos were recovered that were recorded inside the restroom at the Krampus Festival.
08:18Two of those videos are believed to depict the victims interviewed on scene.
08:22Investigators noted that during those recordings, Brian did not appear to be interested in recording
08:27the mother while she was using the restroom.
08:29Instead, his attention appeared to be focused on her child.
08:33On December 8th, 2025, 48-year-old Brian Leroy Group was charged with voyeurism in the
08:39first degree and resisting arrest.
08:41The case is ongoing, with a jury trial currently set for May of 2026.
