00:00Are you familiar with the username incelrevolution soon?
00:03Yeah.
00:03Have you talked about how all women need to be masked?
00:07No.
00:08What?
00:09Total Jewish bring forth now.
00:11Kid them all, gaffled lefties.
00:13I don't know how much you guys would believe me, but on my end, that's just emotional banter.
00:17A white male.
00:18Oh, a white male.
00:19He's so scary.
00:20What the f*** is wrong with you people?
00:21They're an FBI.
00:22They can see anything.
00:24Yeah, because they're f***ing terrorists that have access to spy on people with the Patriot Act.
00:28I need to go watch yourself.
00:30I don't care.
00:31I can say all of this.
00:32This is free speech.
00:33When an Instagram user calling himself incelrevolutionsoon shares a series of posts that draw the attention
00:39of the FBI, they trace the account to a home in Edgewater, Florida.
00:44There, a special agent clashes with the poster, who believes he's done nothing wrong.
00:50Putting the f*** on the internet?
00:52You go to jail for that nowadays?
00:54Yeah, if you're inciting mass murder of particular individuals, absolutely.
00:57The following is based on official police records, and the footage has never been seen before
01:02until now.
01:03Please note that any person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven
01:07guilty in a court of law.
01:09On October 18, 2025, the FBI received a tip about an Instagram user posting what they describe
01:16as RMVE, or racially, ethnically motivated and violent extremist ideologies.
01:22Their investigation identified the user as 19-year-old Lucas Luke Nevchurlain.
01:27Six days after receiving the tip, a special agent with the FBI arrives on his front porch,
01:32accompanied by officers with the Edgewater Police Department.
01:35How are you doing, dear?
01:38How are you doing?
01:38So, Agent, Agent will explain everything to you.
01:41Oh, gosh.
01:41Especially from Rachel Plyle with the FBI.
01:43Nice to meet you.
01:44Nice to meet you.
01:45Yeah, what is this about?
01:46Is this Lucas?
01:47Yes.
01:47Okay.
01:48Okay, so, uh, I'm glad that you're here as well, so.
01:51Is he saying something online?
01:53Is that, oh.
01:53Really?
01:54You're looking at what I'm saying online?
01:55Yeah.
01:56Oh, my gosh.
01:57Are you kidding me?
01:59What do you think?
01:59What is he saying?
02:00Why don't you tell us?
02:01What are you, what are you saying?
02:02Nothing.
02:03Instagram account, I get banned on there.
02:05What's your Instagram handle?
02:07Why would I need to tell you that?
02:08Brother.
02:09You could ask me a question.
02:10I'm not going to answer that question.
02:11If the FBI is at your house asking you a question, it's for a reason.
02:14Board-certified criminal defense lawyer, Bruce Rivers, reviewed this case and shared his perspective.
02:20Please note that all legal opinions expressed are solely Bruce's and not reflective of EWU.
02:25He does not have to say anything to these officers.
02:28He can say, I refuse to answer any and all questions.
02:32Now, they don't have to Mirandize him here because he's not in custody.
02:36Sure, it's for a reason, but, I mean, what the f*** is this?
02:40Luke, come on.
02:41What am I saying online?
02:43I've done nothing incriminating.
02:44I don't know, but don't be disrespectful.
02:45I've not been a criminal.
02:47What did he, what did he say, something?
02:49We'll talk about that.
02:49Act like I'm a terrorist.
02:51But, why would you say that?
02:53Why are you here then?
02:55We don't talk to only terrorists.
02:57We talk to a lot of people.
02:58Oh, my goodness.
02:58So, why would you say terrorists?
02:59He has never been in trouble for doing anything, but what are you writing, Luke?
03:03What are you saying?
03:04I'm not saying anything.
03:05So, I'm concerned that you said terrorists because that's a big word, and that, why would
03:09you, why would you think we were here to talk to you about being a terrorist?
03:13He said, I'm not a terrorist.
03:15Right.
03:15But, that's a big word that most people don't just throw out there.
03:18Luke doesn't answer the question, but the agent will soon explain her concerns.
03:23So, first and foremost, for safety, are there any guns in the home?
03:28Yes.
03:28There's one.
03:29Okay.
03:29What type of gun is it?
03:31Glock 43.
03:32Okay.
03:33Shotgun, AK.
03:34My dad also has guns.
03:36Yeah, his dad has guns.
03:37Are any registered to Canucas?
03:39No.
03:40Okay.
03:41Okay.
03:41Do you have them locked up in a safe?
03:42Yes.
03:43Okay.
03:43Does he have access to those?
03:45Okay.
03:45Well, I know Luke doesn't have guns, and you could look at it, you could see what they have.
03:49I have no problem with any of them.
03:50Do you know of any time that he's been able to access the guns with that?
03:54No, he doesn't even shoot.
03:57Do you ever remember touching a tan and black AK in the home?
04:00Of course.
04:02Okay.
04:02Oh, okay.
04:03He probably picked up something.
04:06So, I'm going to show you how to take a pose with it.
04:09Okay.
04:10Well, now we know.
04:11Now we know what you did.
04:13Really?
04:15Oh.
04:16This is serious, honey.
04:19They take it serious.
04:20You can't just act like.
04:21I can't pose with a gun.
04:23Do you know who that is in the photo?
04:24It's me.
04:25Okay.
04:27Is that the gun you were talking about?
04:29Yeah.
04:30He's.
04:30Yeah.
04:31He's.
04:31You can't do that, Luke.
04:33Really?
04:34Especially if you're saying threatening stuff.
04:36I didn't say anything threatening.
04:37I just.
04:38It was a picture.
04:39Then why is the FBI knocking on our door?
04:41It was supposed to be funny.
04:42Because they're Alphabet agencies.
04:44You know, our government.
04:45Stop.
04:46Watch your mouth.
04:47They're terrorists.
04:48Well, they are.
04:48They're trying to protect us.
04:50No, they're not.
04:50They don't protect them.
04:51Watch your mouth.
04:52When was the last time you've seen the FBI in Edgewater?
04:55So, the concerns that I have are these are stuff you're posting online.
04:59That's how they have it.
05:00The FBI was contacted because people were very concerned about some of the posts that you
05:04were sharing.
05:04Do you know what Homeland Security is?
05:08Taylor's organization?
05:09No.
05:11Man.
05:11Man.
05:12You need to call his father.
05:13He's very immature about this stuff.
05:15Are you his biological model?
05:17Yes.
05:17I'm immature about these things.
05:18I'm an American citizen.
05:19I need to come to my home for a post.
05:22What?
05:23That means nothing.
05:24It's not the picture.
05:25Yeah, because it's something you're making online.
05:27The posts that you're making online are federal felonies.
05:30Ow.
05:31Because that's the stack.
05:32If you're saying what you're saying.
05:34They think it's prison.
05:35What did I say in that photo?
05:36It's just a photo.
05:38I mean, free speech.
05:39What the ****?
05:40When you cock off online, it can have implications.
05:44I have a case right now where all my clients said, I'm not leaving X town until so-and-so
05:53is in a coma.
05:54I filed a motion to dismiss that because it's just ****.
05:59But you have a First Amendment right of free speech, but not any speech.
06:04You can't really yell fire at a Colorado theater, you know, just like you can't bring
06:08your own food.
06:09I mean, I tried that once.
06:10I tried to bring my own food to a movie theater and I got kicked out readily because the barbecue
06:15smoke was just too much for the theater owner.
06:19They act like I'm a plant attack or something, but you treat me like I'm a criminal.
06:23I don't know what you said, though.
06:24I've done nothing in criminal.
06:25They have to take it serious.
06:26Okay, I'd like to point out that you're not being treated like a criminal because you're
06:29not in handcuffs, you're not being detained.
06:30All right then.
06:34Before the agent asks her next question, she tells Luke that lying to a federal agent during
06:39an investigation can result in a felony charge.
06:43That is true.
06:44If you lie to a federal agent, you know, I've got a case right now where my client is accused
06:49of that and it's a federal felony.
06:52Are you familiar with the username incelrevolutionsoon?
06:55Yeah.
06:56Okay.
06:56What is that?
06:57It's just a handle I had on Instagram.
07:00So it's your handle on Instagram?
07:01It was.
07:02It's gone now.
07:03It's banned.
07:04It just got banned.
07:05It gets banned all the time.
07:07Okay.
07:08Have you ever said anything like, thank everyone, that's what my instincts tell me?
07:13I mean, I've said it before.
07:14It's just jokes.
07:16Okay.
07:17Well, have you talked about how all women need to be masked?
07:21No.
07:22What?
07:22Stop.
07:23Oh, Mom.
07:24Luke, watch my chips.
07:27What about the exact phrase?
07:29Zip it.
07:29I don't need it.
07:30Women need to be masked.
07:31I watch all the true crime shows, I know exactly what I'm talking about.
07:34But your Instagram handle was incelrevolutionsoon, correct?
07:38It's just a joke.
07:39Okay.
07:40So did you say it or was it a joke?
07:42I have no recollection of saying that phrase, no.
07:46Okay.
07:46Do you ever remember hearing and all foids?
07:49I mean, yeah.
07:50I probably said it before.
07:51Can you explain what a foid is?
07:53It's just female humanoid.
07:54Yeah.
07:54That's what I mean.
07:55It's just a men term.
07:57I mean.
07:57It's all .
07:59It's all .
08:00Yeah, you might be thinking in your head that it's a joke, but it's not a joke.
08:05What about the phrase, I'm going to commit mass murder before I can .
08:09I've never said that.
08:10Not that I know.
08:11I hope you didn't say that, Luke.
08:13What?
08:13What she just said.
08:14Have you said stuff like that?
08:16Show me the proof.
08:16Show me I've said these things.
08:17Have you said that you wanted to .
08:19I mean, sure.
08:20I've said it before.
08:22Joking around.
08:23Everyone's said they've had everything.
08:26Everyone's had thoughts of that before.
08:28A special agent explains her concerns that Luke may still be harboring these ideations, but
08:33he assures everyone that he's not.
08:34I know, well, his friends or whoever he talks to online, they all kind of joke with stupid
08:40lingo like that, but he's never.
08:44Yeah.
08:44Listen, there are First Amendment protected rights.
08:47Absolutely.
08:47We, we, we care about those, but we care, we also care about with threats and that's
08:54where things are not protected.
08:56Those are not protected rights.
08:57Yeah.
08:57So making written threats online is a federal fallacy.
09:00So what about something like total Jew now, bring it forth.
09:05It will happen soon, brother.
09:06It's all falling into place.
09:08Oh, Luke.
09:09Do you ever remember saying anything like that?
09:11I don't know.
09:12I mean, I said it enough.
09:14This particular conversation took place between Luke and another Instagram user by the name
09:19Sea Salty Man, who sent Luke what police describe as an anti-Jewish video.
09:24They traced the account to Luke's 19 year old close friend, who they later questioned
09:29about the messages.
09:31I have a very certain opinion on Jewish people.
09:34Now it's not allowed to have, which it's not all Jewish people.
09:37It's just people that so happen to be Jewish that do evil things.
09:40After Sea Salty Man sent the video, Luke replied, I don't hate them enough.
09:45I need more hate.
09:46More hatred.
09:47Total Jewish .
09:49Now, bring it forth.
09:51Sea Salty Man responded, I'm done with this .
09:54Let's start the revolution.
09:56To which Luke replied, it will happen soon, brother.
09:59It's all just, it's just dumb .
10:01Okay, so there are stuff that are things that are very serious.
10:05I can't speak for him in that.
10:07That's just not something I keep up with in any sense.
10:10Like, you know, that's just .
10:12I really don't even know what to put that.
10:13I just don't think about it often.
10:16When you say you don't think about it often, what do you mean by that?
10:17Like, you don't think about his statements often, or you don't think about?
10:20Like, the political ideologies.
10:22Like, it's just not something I'm so fantasized in.
10:26You're a little bit nervous, you're shaking and things like that?
10:28This is the first time I've ever had an interaction with a police, like, just on my own.
10:32And keep in mind, everything you say can and will be used in a court of law.
10:36Let me just be straight up honest with you.
10:38Take a deep breath, relax.
10:40At the end of this, we're not putting you in handcuffs.
10:42Oh, I know.
10:42It's just like .
10:43I just want you to be relaxed and know that this is literally just a conversation all of us are
10:47having.
10:48And when we're done, you go back inside and we get back in our cars and leave.
10:51I know, I'm just .
10:51I just want to put you at ease and I'm not sure if you were nervous or anything like that.
10:54I am.
10:55But like, it's just like the very first time I've ever had to interact with an FBI agent.
10:59In contrast, Luke's own conversation with the agent grew increasingly tense as she shared more of Luke's statements with his
11:06family.
11:07This is absurd to me.
11:09Luke.
11:10What about you get a gun to .
11:12I'm going to get a gun to .
11:14That's what I'll do after a public area.
11:18Who knows if I sit in a car.
11:19Oh my gosh.
11:20Watch your mouth, Luke.
11:21Do you know who Elliot Rodger is?
11:24Yes, of course I know who he is.
11:26What is he known for?
11:27Elliot Rodger.
11:28He was a guy that couldn't find love and then he wouldn't shot up a place.
11:32In May of 2014, Elliot Rodger murdered six people and injured 14 others.
11:37Before the attack, he uploaded a video to YouTube in which he said he wanted to punish women for rejecting
11:42him and expressed resentment toward men.
11:46He's cited as an influence on several perpetrators of subsequent mass attacks.
11:50It was an incel, sure.
11:52You mentioned incel in your username.
11:55What is it?
11:55Yeah, it was a joke.
11:57Involuntary cell of it.
11:58Okay.
11:58So that's what Elliot Rodger was.
12:00Is that correct to say?
12:01Sure.
12:01I suppose.
12:02Sea Salty Man was also later asked about this particular subject, where the agent went into further detail.
12:09What do you know about incels?
12:12Um, I just know it's a kind of people.
12:14I don't know.
12:15I honestly couldn't even give you like a detail for what it is.
12:19Okay.
12:20I just know it's a term that gets used online.
12:22People like, uh, Nick Fuentes, if you know who that is, get called like incels and stuff.
12:26It's just something like, sorry, give me, I'm just a date.
12:29It's like involuntary celibate.
12:31I just think that's just a weird term.
12:33Involuntarily celibate.
12:34Can you think of a worse fate?
12:37The concern is that a lot of your, your statements that you're making are very similar to what Elliot Rodger
12:43believed and did.
12:44Really?
12:45Yes.
12:46Lou.
12:46You know he knows that.
12:48It's not.
12:49Why?
12:50Why would you even use that?
12:51You know exactly what you're talking about.
12:52I don't even know what you're talking about.
12:53There's multiple people on Instagram.
12:55Thousands of people.
12:57That called incel revolution soon.
13:00Oh, a true sale.
13:01Everyone says that.
13:02But some of the stuff you're saying is not.
13:04Who cares?
13:05They say it too.
13:06Do they show up, do you show up at their houses and interrogate them?
13:09Who is that?
13:10Anybody.
13:11Today I'm talking about you.
13:11I don't care if you're talking about me.
13:13I mean, I want to know if you do this to other people.
13:14You go to other people's houses and harass them like this.
13:17If there are obvious jokes.
13:19If there are obvious jokes.
13:19Who reported me?
13:20What makes it obvious?
13:22Yeah, but you put it on the internet.
13:23They're an FBI that can see anything.
13:24They already could have reported me.
13:25Luke, when you put it out there.
13:27Who would have reported me?
13:27My own friends?
13:28They're the only ones that have seen these things.
13:30Well, people, whoever.
13:32Don't even know who I were.
13:32Don't even know who I were.
13:32If it's out on the internet, anybody can see it.
13:35No.
13:35I mean, it shows you who's your post.
13:38They have access to all, everything.
13:40Yeah, because they're terrorists that have access and spy on people with the Patriot Act.
13:44Okay.
13:45You need to watch yourself.
13:46I don't care.
13:47I can say all of this.
13:48This is free speech.
13:49While it isn't clear who reported Luke, many of his posts were publicly viewable.
13:54I mean, you come to my house and try to intimidate me and try to silence me.
13:57Is that what you're doing?
13:59You're asking me questions.
14:00It is what you're doing.
14:01You're asking me questions and I don't need the answer, do I?
14:04No.
14:04Why are you here?
14:04You absolutely don't need to answer questions.
14:06Can you leave and never come back?
14:08Watch your mouth.
14:09Is that possible for you two or all four of you to do?
14:12Luke, stop.
14:13That's no respect.
14:14Is that possible?
14:15No respect.
14:16Because you're writing stuff that's not funny and it's not a joke.
14:20So stop.
14:21Don't put your hand up.
14:21What's funny and what's not funny, who should say?
14:23Yeah, well, I say it.
14:25It's killing people and none of that's funny.
14:26Am I under arrest?
14:27Am I going to be detained?
14:28Are you going to charge me for these things?
14:30You better stop.
14:30Does any of this matter?
14:31Do I need a lawyer?
14:34Call your dad and get him here.
14:36Luke's brother heads inside to call their dad, who will soon arrive and get caught up
14:40to speed.
14:40With Sea Salty Man, the FBI agent continued sharing what they found in their private messages.
14:45Again, we're not here to tell you to have your own opinions about certain groups or anything
14:50like that.
14:51But do you recall talking about more than a hundred and ten or in a conversation more
14:59than a hundred and ten million non-white foreign individuals in our country, America
15:02is truly a hole?
15:04Does that sound?
15:05Ring a bell?
15:06I know how he is.
15:07He's kind of racist.
15:08I'm not even going to lie.
15:09So that sounds like something that could have been said.
15:11Now that line specifically doesn't really ring a bell, but it kind of goes.
15:18What about something that you may have said, I'm done with this, let's start the revolution.
15:24Okay.
15:24I saw that in the file.
15:26So I remember when that happened, that was with the whole Charlie Kirk thing, and that
15:29was on September 10th.
15:30And I, Lucas was the first person, I was like texting and stuff, and we just got into
15:35one of those like arguments, not arguments, like debates.
15:38Not debate.
15:39We were like on the same side, but we were just like flaming.
15:43Fired up.
15:43Like just pretty much dumping.
15:44That's what that was.
15:45Okay.
15:45Um, what about like follow up with that though, him saying it will not, it will happen soon,
15:50brother.
15:50It's all falling into place.
15:51And then your response was, I'm not waiting.
15:54And then a discussion from you further was this tyranny has been, has infected the human
15:59race since the dawn of the Jews.
16:01Then he responded, you have to, um, blowing a fuse and committing an act of terror early
16:07benefits no one.
16:08It's when Breivik was retarded.
16:10Anders Bering Breivik is a Norwegian terrorist who carried out attacks in Norway on July
16:1522nd, 2011.
16:17He first detonated a car bomb, killing eight people, then carried out a mass shooting at
16:22a youth camp, killing 69 more.
16:25And then what about, um, he continuing on talking about Breivik, he bombed leftists in Norway.
16:31And what came from it?
16:32Really nothing at all.
16:33He went to jail.
16:34He lit the, his fuse of hate early.
16:36We must all light our fuses together, not individually increase such an enormous explosion,
16:40not a small insignificant one that completely obliterates the system.
16:44So we can rebuild it anew.
16:46And your response was, that's one way to think about it, but that's to invoke one singular
16:53explosion.
16:54It needs to be a chain reaction.
16:55The hate for true evil needs to spread.
16:57And that was your response.
16:59Total Jewish bring forth now.
17:01The lefties.
17:03Are those last few things you said were like conversations that he had with me?
17:07Correct.
17:07Okay.
17:08Some of your responses.
17:08Yeah, there was, you had some responses in there as well.
17:11Okay.
17:11Could I, could you read those to me?
17:13Uh huh.
17:13Uh huh.
17:14Um, your response to, you need to blow it all up and win.
17:19Then you followed up.
17:20Your response was it's bigger and more grand than just to the section of one race.
17:23It is a fight that will require every last soul on this planet until it's dying breath.
17:28And then further on, it's it.
17:30He said them all, all lefties.
17:32I don't know how much you guys would believe me, but on my end, that's just emotional banter.
17:36Cause that was around the time of the Charlie Kirk thing that should be on September 10th
17:40or 11th, right?
17:41That's all that was.
17:43And since then, obviously like I've calmed down and most of the world has, but at that
17:47day in specific, it was just a day where no one knew really what was going on or like
17:52the full severity of things.
17:53I didn't know that he was a, uh, what's it called a Republican at the time.
17:56So that's bad on my end.
17:58Cause I'm just, I don't know about that.
18:00That's practically, that's how I see it as I'm just talking out.
18:02So you probably thought it was one of those minorities or something that you have some
18:07sort of particular viewpoint against something, someone that has committed something like
18:12that within the past few years, like not maybe not like a black person or like a person
18:16of color, but maybe like, uh, uh, someone that identifies in the LGBTQ space.
18:21Cause that happens before too, like the transgenders that have like a school in Nashville or the
18:26dude that tried to assassinate Trump was on that end if I'm not mistaken, but I don't
18:31know at the same time.
18:31So according to police records, an Edgewater detective also learned of a group chat Luke
18:37was involved in, which discussed the topic of school and workplace shootings.
18:40What was the name of the group chat?
18:42Cereal flexors.
18:43Cereal flexors.
18:44Cereal flexors.
18:44The federal agent attempted to question Luke further.
18:47Did you ever say blowing it all up with Excel rage at all?
18:51What?
18:51Is he playing?
18:51Do you expect me to call in my mind everything I've ever said?
18:55Watch him.
18:56Oh, you've got pictures of it.
18:57I guess that's me.
18:58Is it me?
18:59My hands covering my face.
19:01Yeah.
19:02Oh, well, you don't think it's a big deal.
19:05What you're saying.
19:06It's a joke.
19:07You should.
19:08I'm a teenage boy.
19:09Yeah, but it's not a joke with what you're saying.
19:11You're actually an adult.
19:12Yeah.
19:13An adult.
19:14Ooh.
19:16The federal government affairs that charge.
19:18Everything you put on the internet is for anyone to see and they have to take it
19:21serious cause they don't need people going out shooting people and killing people.
19:25There are immigrants coming here and people that are illegal aliens.
19:28They're doing this because I have a European descent.
19:31That's why they're doing it.
19:31What the hell?
19:33Luke.
19:33That's exactly why they're doing it.
19:34A white male.
19:35Oh, a white male is so scary.
19:37What the is wrong with you, baby?
19:38You come out with, watch your mouth.
19:40How do you live with yourself?
19:41Stop.
19:42So I'm actually a European descent.
19:44Luke, stop.
19:46It has nothing to do with your skin color.
19:48It's what you're saying.
19:49It is.
19:50It's what you're saying.
19:51Now stop.
19:51Luke has already been told that he's not being detained or placed under arrest, leaving
19:56one of the officers wondering where this may be heading.
19:59What's going to be the end result here?
20:01It's going to be 10, 10, 12 or what?
20:03Now this is it, huh?
20:04Legal names here?
20:05Yes.
20:06So with your consent.
20:08She's going to end up going home.
20:10Like not today.
20:12Not today.
20:13Sure enough, the federal agent has a larger plan in motion.
20:16One she will not be revealing today.
20:18In the meantime, the situation grows more tense when Luke's dad arrives at the scene.
20:24Sure.
20:24It's a joke.
20:26No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
20:29Let's, let's, let's catch him up on everything first.
20:32Just so you know I ask why I say I am.
20:33It's some of the stuff that leads to online.
20:36Nobody even knows about it till now.
20:38It's on Instagram.
20:38I post things and they take it seriously and they come here and try to threaten us and
20:42search the home and think I'm a terrorist or something.
20:45Because some of the stuff he said.
20:48Yeah, free speech.
20:49I mean, what the .
20:51Which word?
20:52Which word?
20:53No, this is absurd.
20:54I'm not angry.
20:55Well, too bad.
20:56You can't do crap like this.
20:59So we have, there's force of mental rights, of course.
21:01But, but when it becomes a written thread, it becomes a very, a big concern.
21:04It's just a joke.
21:05And they.
21:07It don't matter, Luke.
21:09That's serious.
21:11You can't do that.
21:12Because you're not taking it serious.
21:13It's not a joke to everybody else.
21:14It's not serious at all.
21:15It's laughable.
21:16It's stupid.
21:17No, it's not.
21:17Stop.
21:18With Luke's dad now informed of why they're here, the agent revisits her earlier concern about guns in the home.
21:25I can take all my weapons and put them in a gun safe.
21:28That would be great.
21:29At my shop.
21:30That would be great.
21:31I thought they were in your safe in the room.
21:36And this is strictly, this is to control, but this is strictly because of the safety concerns.
21:41As an example of some of the threats were women need to be in mass.
21:48Oh my gosh.
21:50What the?
21:50I'm going to get a gun.
21:52That's what I'll do after I'm a public area.
21:55Are you kidding me, Luke?
21:58Everyone.
21:59That's my instincts.
22:00That's what my instincts tell me.
22:01I don't want to hear none of that.
22:02Okay.
22:03I'll take the guns.
22:03So that's why I'm looking for the concerns.
22:05And put them in my gun safe.
22:08What questions do you have for me?
22:12None really.
22:13It's all a shock to me.
22:14I didn't know any of the pictures.
22:15I didn't know any of this stuff.
22:17Sure.
22:17Because they all think the buddies he talks to, it's all a big joke to slander, different
22:22ethnic groups and all the stuff they think is funny.
22:25And that's First Amendment protected.
22:27Yeah.
22:27It is.
22:28No matter how you feel about it, it's First Amendment protected.
22:30But what it's not protected is the written threat.
22:33You don't go around and say it's a written threat.
22:36No.
22:37Many, many of the mass shooters have been insults.
22:42Well, yeah.
22:43You can't.
22:44It's a joke.
22:45I don't care.
22:46You don't say .
22:48They killed actual people.
22:49Obviously, it's not a joke because the lady's here.
22:52Doesn't mean anything.
22:53It does.
22:54No, no, no, no.
22:55They don't.
22:56I'm 56 years old.
22:58I never had the FBI come to my house.
23:00No.
23:00Because he's kind of bull .
23:02It's hard to explain to you people.
23:04Well, yeah.
23:05Well, you got a war way of thinking.
23:07When the agent asks for a chance to look in the home and ensure there are no weapons in Luke's
23:11room, Luke speaks out against it and his family seems to lose their patience with the team.
23:16There's no charges.
23:17They can't search our house.
23:19I'm not under arrest.
23:20Wow.
23:21Okay, Luke.
23:22They can't get a straw in your mouth.
23:24You shut your mouth.
23:26Go inside.
23:26Go inside.
23:27You know what?
23:28You need to go.
23:29Okay.
23:29Go inside now, please.
23:31They can see the guns.
23:33If I say they can see them.
23:35So, he cannot.
23:37If the parents say, go ahead and search this room.
23:39Luke can't say, I don't want you to search my room.
23:42They can get permission from the parents.
23:44Why would you consent to yourself?
23:46Go inside.
23:46Just f***ing touch your face.
23:49You're ridiculous.
23:50Get it in the...
23:50You're all ridiculous.
23:52How do you f***ing look at yourself, you piece of a f***?
23:54What?
23:55He's mentally ill.
23:57Watch what you say.
23:58Go inside.
23:59Listen, you're not making the situation any better with your negative stuff.
24:03Yeah.
24:03Because you guys need to take it more seriously.
24:05Yeah, well, I'm taking it real serious that he's moving all the guns out.
24:09Yeah, I am.
24:09You're going to take the Xbox away?
24:11Yeah, yeah.
24:11I'm going to take all the s*** out.
24:13You know what?
24:13This is not the time for that.
24:15Okay?
24:15Because I'm trying to get her to take it real serious.
24:17It's not the time for it.
24:19It's not the time for it.
24:20Just like always, he won't get in trouble for anything.
24:22Okay, how am I not taking it serious when we just found out about it?
24:25All the guns are going out.
24:26Because you're trying to get rid of the s***.
24:28Go inside.
24:29Go.
24:29I don't feel safe in there by myself with them.
24:32Oh, you know what?
24:33Oh, my goodness gracious.
24:34I don't.
24:34Then call somebody and go somewhere else.
24:36Yeah.
24:37How about that?
24:38The federal agent and the members of the Edgewater Police Department leave the home having obtained
24:42enough information to secure a warrant for Luke's arrest.
24:45Six days later, officers descend on the teen's home under the cover of night.
24:50Hands up.
24:51Hands up.
24:52Hands up.
24:52Come out here.
24:55All occupants of the residence.
24:58Don't go back.
24:59No, don't go back inside.
25:01Come out to us or your hands up?
25:03Lucas, hands up.
25:04Everybody, hands up.
25:06There's the suspect right there.
25:07That's him.
25:09Lucas, stop, guys.
25:11Stop where you're at.
25:14Down on the ground.
25:15Down on the ground.
25:15Down on the ground.
25:15Lucas, get on the ground.
25:17Are you kidding me?
25:20Put your hands behind your back.
25:22You guys know exactly what this is about.
25:24No, we don't.
25:25He came.
25:26They came yesterday.
25:27Don't say anything.
25:29Stand up.
25:30Somebody clear the channel.
25:32What is it now?
25:33What is it now?
25:33What is it now?
25:34Let's go.
25:35What for?
25:36The same thing.
25:38No, you might need the problem.
25:39What was it for?
25:40The same thing.
25:41Yep.
25:42So why is this now?
25:44What do you mean?
25:45Why do they come now?
25:46Because it's when we have a warrant for it.
25:48Really?
25:48Yes.
25:50Luke, don't say nothing.
25:52So when you're charged with a crime, they can charge it out one of two ways.
25:56They can charge it out by summons, where you get a letter in the mail and say,
25:59you have a court date on this particular date, please come to court.
26:02Or they can charge it up by warrant.
26:04And in cases that involve violence or potential threats of violence, they do it under the cover
26:09of darkness and they do it without telling you.
26:12So after that first visit with the FBI, what I would have recommended for him to do,
26:17call a lawyer right now.
26:19And that lawyer starts interacting with the prosecutor.
26:21They would have had a heads up.
26:22And what we do is, okay, well, he'll turn himself in.
26:26You're going to issue the warrant on Friday?
26:28He'll turn himself in on Friday.
26:30Turn around and face the bed of the truck.
26:31You got anything I need to send a post for it?
26:33Stick me?
26:33No.
26:34Okay.
26:34I just want to make sure.
26:36Gotcha.
26:38You've got a warrant for your arrest for written threats to kill or do terroristic attacks.
26:42Do you understand?
26:42Yes.
26:43All right.
26:43Spread your feet.
26:44This is ridiculous.
26:45It's not ridiculous.
26:47Yeah, it is.
26:47I mean, the post, I agree.
26:49That was all.
26:49This, this is not ridiculous.
26:51I think it's ridiculous.
26:52Why didn't they just take him that day then?
26:54Because they didn't have it that day.
26:55It, it requires investigations.
26:57This requires time.
26:58Yeah, I know what he was saying.
27:00I'm not, I agree with that.
27:01That was all wrong, but.
27:02Well, this is the result of that.
27:04It's taken very seriously.
27:06It's taken very seriously.
27:07Yes.
27:09These young kids.
27:10It's not young kids.
27:11It's nothing to do about that.
27:13Well, I, I think I know the kid.
27:15I, I, yeah, I understand that.
27:17I understand he's your son.
27:18Yeah.
27:18Here, put it this way.
27:19He's not going to go kill.
27:21Do you know that?
27:22Put it this way, right?
27:23So put it this way.
27:25If something does happen and we did nothing about it, then, you know.
27:30There's nothing to do.
27:31Hold on, hold on.
27:31He's here all the time.
27:33But.
27:33He's not, he don't leave the house.
27:35Listen, he's not in the prison cell, you know.
27:37So, at the end of the day, you have to understand that that kind of stuff can't be
27:40taken lightly with the way the world is nowadays.
27:43While Luke's mom heads inside to get a pair of shoes for her son, his dad continues speaking
27:47with police officers.
27:49Yeah.
27:50For accurate, put on the internet, you go to jail for that nowadays?
27:54Yeah.
27:54If you're inciting mass murder of particular individuals, absolutely.
27:59If you, what do you got, name names or you just.
28:02No, you don't need to, you don't need to name names if you say that you're going to mass
28:06kill.
28:07Yes.
28:08That's not protected.
28:09That's not protected speech.
28:10Free speech is a protected constitutional right.
28:14However, there is a point where it goes from being free speech to being crime.
28:18Any, any espousal of violence is no longer free speech.
28:22You cannot incite or request or make any attempts to say anything about violence.
28:27That becomes no more free speech.
28:29If you just simply say, I hate, insert X group here, whatever.
28:34That is what it is.
28:35But you can't start espousing any kind of thing that says, I'm going to kill anybody.
28:40That's where it becomes a problem.
28:42A major problem.
28:43In fact, because the state of Florida deems it a second degree felony punishable by 15
28:47years in prison.
28:48He don't leave the house.
28:49Great.
28:49Right now he doesn't.
28:51Until he's decided he's ready.
28:53You can't not take stuff like that seriously.
28:55And we will never not take that seriously.
28:57While behind bars, Luke reaches out to his brother in a recorded jail call.
29:02I don't know what they're thinking.
29:04Even though I meant nothing of it.
29:06Yeah.
29:07Well, you're just going to have to be honest and tell them that and you need to apologize.
29:12Yeah, I know.
29:13If my friends talk to you or whatever, I don't know if they're going to ask you questions.
29:19Well, I'm sure everyone's going to be asking questions.
29:21And of course, everyone around here is constantly looking at that for new mug shots because they
29:28have nothing better to do.
29:29So people are going to find out.
29:35I don't know, Luke.
29:36Just, you need to say some prayers or something.
29:42Yeah, you're like, I'm getting hung on the gallows in Jernberg or something.
29:46No, but you got to go through this.
29:49I mean, you brought it on yourself.
29:51Yeah, like I knew this would happen.
29:53It was just a joke on the internet.
29:55It's serious.
29:56They can't ignore that.
29:59That's how bad things happen.
30:00Yeah.
30:01Luke's fears that his friends would all find out were eventually realized.
30:05As this conversation between Sea Salty Man and the FBI took place after Luke's arrest
30:10and his subsequent release from jail on a $10,000 bond.
30:14Fully aware of Luke's legal consequences, the teen works to make his stance clear.
30:20I'm just going to put this on the record.
30:21I won't and can't relate to going and wanting to shoot up a place.
30:24That's absolutely mad.
30:26But certain people, I guess, can just cause that ambiguous anger that has built up in some people.
30:33Especially like that, that sit in the house all day.
30:35They have no outlet.
30:37And all they do is they're chronically online.
30:39It's just not healthy.
30:40What are your thoughts now looking hindsight?
30:44Um, definitely watch my emotions.
30:47And he definitely should do the same.
30:49Like, are you talking about like what I've learned from the whole experience?
30:51Not really what you've learned, but what are your thoughts about his, um, his likelihood
30:56to maybe act on any of these types of threats?
30:58I think that's a good joke.
30:59At what point does it, does a joke become a reality?
31:03Um, that's a very good question.
31:06Um, a joke, it depends on like, certainly like the circumstance.
31:10But with this, like, with this, uh, specific situation, with him going out and harming something,
31:17I could sit here and say, because I've known him for so long that I've seen the patterns
31:20and who knows, but you know, it changes.
31:22So, truthfully, I don't know.
31:25The special agent and Edgewater police also visited the home of another of Luke's close
31:29friends.
31:30According to police records, Luke had sent him what they described as numerous threats
31:34and derogatory comments against women.
31:36One being like, um, I hate women so much, it's unreal.
31:40Just seeing them makes me see with rage, knowing other men f***ing women.
31:45And I can't, makes me see with rage.
31:47It makes me want to become a terror, even if I ascended and somehow attained a woman,
31:52I would never truly love her.
31:53I just beat her.
31:54I hate them.
31:56From what I, when I read it.
31:57Do you remember reading that?
31:58No.
31:59Sounds like he's just kind of got his, got his blockers on and not really paying attention
32:04to it.
32:04And I know he's just like I am.
32:06We're like, oh yeah, that's them.
32:07Whatever.
32:07You don't think anything.
32:08But then he started saying it and we're like, whoa, the world's different now.
32:11You can't say this.

32:14Right.
32:15And you can, you can call it a joke as much as you like.
32:17Right.
32:18But a lot of other people have called it jokes.
32:21Absolutely.
32:21And that is very excessive to me.

32:30not trying to be mean, but I do think he's not allowed to come around.
32:33Just for, I don't want to take any chances.
32:35That's it.
32:36Yep.
