00:18a newborn baby is found deceased at Artesia General Hospital in New Mexico.
00:24Where exactly the baby was found is what makes this case so shocking.
00:28Even more gut-wrenching is the unbelievable lengths a young woman went to in an attempt
00:34to cover up her monstrous deed.
00:36In the early morning hours of January 27, 2023, 19-year-old Alexi Treviso, also known
00:44as Lexi, checked into the emergency room at Artesia General Hospital as she was experiencing
00:49lower back pain.
00:51Her mother, Rosa Treviso, accompanied her.
00:54It wasn't uncommon for her to endure this sort of pain as she was known to have hip
00:59and spine problems.
01:00However, this instance would prove to be something different.
01:05Around 1.40 a.m., Lexi informs the medical staff that she needs to use the restroom.
01:10During this time, her mother checks on her to make sure that everything is okay.
01:15Fifteen minutes go by before a nurse does the same, but Lexi claims that she's merely having
01:21trouble going to the bathroom.
01:23However, the nurse is growing suspicious of the noises she can hear from inside.
01:28It sounds as though the paper towel dispenser is being used over and over again, while the
01:34toilet is being flushed several times and the sink is continuously running.
01:39It was all very strange.
01:41After twenty minutes and no sign of Lexi, the medical team has become extremely worried and
01:47notifies her that they're going to open the door.
01:50However, the teenager beats them to it.
01:52As she walks out, no one could have expected the horror scene left behind.

09:24However, she will have to follow a mandated curfew, along with counseling.
