37 foreign nationals were detained during a late-night enforcement operation at an entertainment outlet in Stulang Laut.

Johor Immigration director Datuk Mohd Rusdi Mohd Darus said the raid, carried out at about 11pm on Tuesday (April 21), involved a team of enforcement officers following intelligence gathering and continuous surveillance on the premises.

00:23The operation targeted a center suspected of employing and harboring undocumented foreigners.
00:30Those detained included nationals from the Philippines, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Indonesia,
00:38China, Thailand and Vietnam, aged between 20 and 53.
00:44A local man, believed to be the premises manager, was also detained to assist in investigations.
00:51Mohamed Ruzdi said they were believed to have been working as customer service attendants
00:56at the entertainment outlet.
00:58The detainees have been placed at the Setia Tropica Immigration Depot for further action.
01:03A summons was also issued to a witness during the operation to assist in the probe.
