03:10You're paying full freight here because the market already knows they're the best team

03:17President's trophy teams historically aren't very good in finishing the job, Donnie, across
03:24the board.
03:25And listen, barely won again last night, 2-1 in overtime against the LA Kings, who are
03:32giving them everything they can handle.
03:34But if you're looking for value, which is what we want, call me crazy.
03:39I mean, I know Vegas lost last night, 3-2 to Utah.
03:43That series is 1-1.
03:44But I still think Vegas has the experience.
03:47They've got a new head coach, crazy enough.
03:51And they know what it takes in order to take it all the way here.
03:55So I think the value still lies with the Vegas Golden Knights if you're looking for, you know,
04:01not a minus 3 or a minus 400, you know, favorite, which is exactly what Colorado is.

04:15Because they're up 2-0 series lead on the Senators here, followed by the Tampa Bay Lightning,

04:33Well, listen, I happen to think, and I had said this yesterday, Donnie,
04:38talking to somebody that, you know, Tampa after losing game one, you know,
04:43all of a sudden their price was around 50 cents just to win the series against the Montreal Canadiens there.
04:50And if you took Tampa at that price, you're feeling better right now.
04:55And that's exactly what I would do.
04:56Tampa Bay is going to have their hands full with Montreal.
05:00We've seen that, right?
05:02But, listen, Tampa gets by.
05:04I would buy in now, and I'd look to sell after they advance out of this round or even the
05:10next round there
05:11because I'm not sure they're going to be able to get by Carolina.
05:15But I certainly think you can get them at a pretty good price now, buy sooner rather than later with
05:21Tampa.
05:22And, by the way, the Sabres, who did take a loss last night to Boston, even up their series.
05:26You buy in now, trading at around 12 cents here.

05:33Let's flip it over out west.
05:34And as we noticed and told you about, Colorado with a 2-0 series lead.
05:37They are the favorites to be the Western Conference champion.
05:40Currently trading, Joe, at 39% to do that, followed by the Vegas Gold Knights, the Edmonton Oilers, and the
05:45Dallas Stars.
05:46I always loved Edmonton, Joe.

05:54But it's Colorado just too fast, just too strong.
05:58Well, and this is another reason why I had mentioned Vegas here, Donnie,
06:02because path matters more than how good you are, right?
06:07So history tells us, as good as Colorado is, President's Trophy winner,
06:12they're going to throw up all over themselves at some point.
06:15But they're also going to cannibalize each other.
06:17Think about it.
06:18The other great teams, Colorado, Dallas, Minnesota.
06:22Well, Minnesota's playing Dallas, right?
06:25I think the path is easier for Vegas here in order to give yourself an opportunity to buy in at
06:31this price.
06:32And then, shocker, they could very well be playing in the finals,
06:37at which point you would have bought low, and you'll have an opportunity to sell high on the Vegas Knights.

06:47I find an interesting one on the Philadelphia Flyers.
06:49Yes, they're up 2-0, and Pittsburgh looks old and dead at this point,
06:52and the Flyers have home ice advantage.
06:53They should win that series.
06:54But the Flyers aren't notorious, Joe, for making the playoffs year in, year out with this crew,
06:59knowing how to close out a series.
07:00The reason I bring it up is, yes, I'm rooting for the Flyers.
07:03But, Joe, a no price to advance to the second round for the Flyers,
07:07$100 investment pays back $415.
07:09And you know if the Penguins win tonight, which is basically a toss-up,
07:12that number is going to change drastically.
07:14I'm not hating on my Flyers.
07:15I'm cheering them on.
07:16But I thought that price point was interesting for a team that we probably didn't think would be in this

07:20let alone be in the playoffs.

07:24And we got a lot of teams with, you know, no experience playing teams with experience here.
07:29And that's the problem with Buffalo right now, is that you've got a team that, you know,
07:33this is not a team that has been there and done this before.
07:36I think, Donnie, at this point, I'm looking at teams with experience.
07:41The Avs advancing.
07:43Vegas advancing.
07:44The Hurricanes advancing here.
07:46Maybe even the Penguins here at this point with how much experience they have.
07:52I think teams that have been there and done that have an edge heading into the second round.
