00:00It has been a busy couple of weeks here in the upper Midwest with severe weather impacting the
00:05area multiple days over the past couple of weeks. Just this past week we've seen severe weather
00:10move through southern Minnesota, through Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois, bringing with it heavy
00:16rains, strong winds, large hail, and even a few tornadoes. Now all this heavy rain is going to
00:24cause flooding problems up and down the Mississippi River. Low-lying areas and farmers' fields
00:29filling up with water, and even the rivers and tributaries and other waterways in
00:34this region, which are already running high from the spring melt-off of snow
00:38further north, are going to continue to raise their levels as all this heavy rain
00:43continues to move into these waterways. And on top of it we have yet again another
00:49day of severe weather tomorrow on Friday that is set to impact the upper Midwest.
00:54And that is going to bring with it more heavy rains, more severe weather with
00:58damaging hail and strong winds, and tornadoes will be likely tomorrow here in the
01:03upper Midwest. I'll be here tracking these storms for you all on the AccuWeather
01:08Network. For AccuWeather from Keokuk, Iowa, I'm Aaron Jajak.
