00:00You mentioned you can't really move Durant unless he's the best version of himself.
00:04Yoshida seems like the best version of himself right now, not in wins and losses,
00:08but in terms of his ability to get on base.
00:11Is there an opportunity to sell high with him?
00:14Yeah, well, that's the tricky thing, right?
00:16I mean, all of this is so—I use convoluted. I'll use it again.
00:20It's so convoluted because, okay, let's play that out,
00:24where you're going to trade Yoshida, someone will take on his money,
00:28which is the only way you're going to do it,
00:30and you're able to offload him.
00:32Well, the problem is that he actually serves a purpose on this team.
00:37I understand the Jones and Keefe-led stat, excellent stat.
00:41A big 1-10 when he plays,
00:45but you still have to have a guy in that lineup
00:48who you think is going to put the bat on the ball,
00:51you think is actually going to hit the ball,
00:53you think might have an OPS over 800,
00:56and right now that's Yoshida and not a lot of other guys.
01:00So you can say you're going to move on from him
01:02and play Duran all the time and free it up for Anthony,
01:05but the problem is that you don't know that they're going to produce
01:08like Yoshida is.
01:09It really, really is sort of a rock-in-the-hard-place type thing right now,
01:15and no matter what, you have to figure out ways.
01:19I know they scored a crap load of runs yesterday.
01:21You have to figure out a way to have a more consistent offense,
01:24and if you part ways with Yoshida,
01:27that's not really trending in the right direction.
