00:00Well, Jamaica added another victory to their statistics over Trinidad and Tobago, but president
00:05of the TNT Football Association, Kyron Edwards, is holding out hope that TNT can bring their
00:11A-game for their next encounter tomorrow.
00:14He says it's a great opportunity for younger players to show their talent.
00:18Once the boys put their best foot forward, I think it's an opportunity for some of the
00:23young ones.
00:24We have Garcia Zumzumas in the squad.
00:28We have Linda Sweene, young boys, first time playing with the senior team.
00:33They're still teenagers.
00:34Yes, they're teenagers.
00:35Yeah, 17.
00:36We have Sentele, who was, I would say, the standout in the game, goalkeeper, first game
00:41with the team as well.
00:43So once those guys take the opportunity and be confident in terms of being themselves
00:48as well, yes, there would be certain things in terms of structure that the coach would
00:52want to put out, but still express themselves.
00:56Edwards spoke of his goal to see TNT playing in the World Cup and back into the top 50,
01:01but he noted it won't be easy.
01:03It would take some doing to get us back up to the ranking.
01:07We need to lay the right foundation.
01:09That's important.
01:10Being in the World Cup fever, the ranking is difficult to manage your ranking while
01:18you're in that position, most teams, and not just for our senior team.
01:22He believes that that coach, Dwight Yorke, has what it takes to bring the marginal gains
01:26needed to reach a higher level.
01:29He's adamant about levels of simple things like the dressing room, how our dressing rooms
01:35look.
01:36When players come into the dressing room, how they feel.
01:38These little things make a difference.
01:40And as a student of marginal gains, I do understand those things.
01:45The little things do matter, and as you build, do things better today than you did yesterday.
01:51So I think it's a very good combination between having coach Dwight Yorke and the new administration.
