00:49And that is definitely the case of today's buyer, Katie, who is going around today with her daughter Indy.
00:55And she's really looking for a home that she can live in forever and always, always stay here in Camperdown.

01:26It's a great sense of community and it has been a beautiful place to bring my four children up.
01:35My husband, Paul, couldn't get out of a work engagement.
01:38So Indy was my right hand woman.

01:55Beautiful and we love it and the kids have had a great time there.
01:58But we're probably looking at downsizing a little bit.
02:01My dream house has always been like a historic Federation style place.
02:05And I do love living out of town a bit.
02:07Happy to do a lot of cosmetic stuff.

02:12I own a small business, a biodynamic organic calf in town.
02:16We have set up a lot of fruit trees and homegrown veggies.
02:19I would love to be able to do that as well because we use them in store as well as

02:24Between eight and nine hundred thousand, that would be our budget.

02:29So we could do some runners if we had to.
02:36The town of Camperdown is located two hours west of Melbourne, not too far from the Great Ocean Road.
02:44Surrounded by farmland, crater lakes and volcanic peaks, the town itself sits steeped in historic charm.

03:17Well, I haven't been in it.
03:18I used to walk the kids up to school and we used to always admire the Federation style house.
03:23So I'm excited to have a look inside.
03:25Well, the house is absolutely beautiful.
03:28It's half an acre of garden.
03:30We are in drought at the moment, so I know that you're understanding of that.
03:34But the house dates back to the 1870s.
03:37I've got you the house with character, but we're not too far from town.

17:02I could not resist popping into this one.
17:05Vintage no tuck and seeing what Kirsty has on offer.
17:08I don't really know how to describe your shop.
17:11It's a little bit vintage, but then you've got clothing.
17:14It's homewares and then you do classes here as well.
17:18Initially it was a rustic homewares type business where we upcycled furniture, mixed
17:23antique furniture with new products on the market.
17:26So to encourage people to get their nan's plate out of the cupboard.
17:30Over the years it's progressed to add clothing in.
17:33We do our homewares, gifts, vintage pieces and a real focus on our fusion mineral paint
17:41and upcycling pieces that perhaps would end up in landfill.
17:45The upcycling with the furniture paint, it's a water-based paint.
17:49It's very easy to use.
17:51It's not a lot of sanding and prepping, so anybody can do it.
17:55Can you teach people how to do it here?
17:56I teach people how to do it.
17:58They come along, they bring a piece of furniture.
18:00By the end of the day they take it home all finished, painted, sealed, ready to go.
18:07People are drawn to the country town's full creative spirits like you.
