00:00Severe weather is about to ramp up in a big way across the Midwest next week, Tuesday into Wednesday.
00:07Now this time, storms will be more widespread, more intense, and come with a higher tornado threat than anything we've
00:14seen in the last week to 10 days.
00:17All right, this is the storm that's going to produce it. It's in the Gulf of Alaska right now. That
00:22is going to come into California Saturday night, in the Sunday, then it arrives into the Plain States as we
00:29move into Tuesday.
00:31Now, unlike our storm off the California coast this week, this isn't going to come out in pieces. The whole
00:39piece of energy is going to come out into the Plain States intact.
00:43Tuesday into Wednesday, a lot of energy. Also, it's going to be encountering lots of warmth as well. Take a
00:51look at high temperatures on Tuesday.
00:53This is June warmth from the Midwest into the Mid-South, and a lot of Gulf flow means not only
01:02is it warm, but we have a lot of humidity.
01:05And once that energy interacts with that warmth, severe weather erupts. We already have moderate risks out on Tuesday for
01:14not only damaging winds, not only large hail, but there will be a tornado threat.
01:19That area will be shifting as we head into Wednesday. We already have some risk, and we will likely be
01:27increasing the threat as we get closer to the event.
