Transcript
00:00We have a severe weather outbreak both Wednesday and Thursday across the Midwest and while the
00:05regions look eerily similar there's going to be one big difference between the days. While there
00:13will be isolated tornadoes on Wednesday, Thursday will have a much higher risk for tornadoes and
00:20here's why. The ingredients on Thursday a little different compared to Wednesday. What we have on
00:27Thursday is what we call directional wind shear. The change with wind direction with height and it's
00:33that change in wind direction with height that supports rotating thunderstorms that can and
00:40will produce tornadoes and we believe there will be dozens of tornadoes unfortunately that will touch
00:46down as we get in the Thursday afternoon Thursday night especially within our moderate the orange
00:53area and the high risk area denoted in red.
