00:00The severe weather threat is far from over.
00:02After hundreds of storm reports across the Midwest and Northeast,
00:06more strong storms are expected into the weekend as this multi-day outbreak continues.
00:13Here's the storm that's going to produce the severe weather.
00:16It's across Northwestern Canada.
00:17It is going to be diving to the Southeast and arriving into the plains on Saturday.
00:23That's where the first round of severe weather will occur,
00:26from Chicago toward Oklahoma City, damaging winds, hail, and there will be isolated tornadoes.
00:33Then the severe weather shifts right back into the Northeast Sunday afternoon and Sunday night.
00:38The heat and humidity return out ahead of the storm,
00:42and then cooler and drier air follows behind it.
