00:05oh my god across the United States this is full dude buried an out-of-control horse
00:17there are treasures you can't even begin to imagine oh my god I'm Matt Paxton and my team
00:26and I are cleaning out properties rain and poop looking for big scores one-of-a-kind we found
00:33gold for our clients and ourselves and if my instincts are right I think this is legit
00:41everyone wins 82,000 so like a pay is Wow hundred and ten thousand dollars I can't believe this is
00:49the same house three hundred and twenty thousand dollars all right here we go guys we love the
01:07Maryland right by the Chesapeake Bay sweet a guy named Scott called me who wants us to help clean
01:14out his mom and her boyfriend's house I don't know if you've seen this video yet man it is a
01:20doozy
01:20so we got Penny and Sandy Penny was a nuclear physicist oh so super super smart and this house
01:29is just jam-packed with history really of all kinds I've been in the house since 1988 it's evolved
01:37it's kind of like a living landscape a conglomerate hi my name's Scott and uh Sandy is my mother of
01:4553
01:45years now and Penny is her boyfriend who I've known now for close to 13 to 15 years I've collected
01:52minerals and fossils since I was a kid and the collection grew and in about 2011 Sandy came into
01:59my life and my collection and her collection became our collection and minerals and fossils and antiques
02:06art fills our house in our lives a huge amount of material and it's become overwhelming every inch
02:13of the house has an antique in it as you see I don't have a place to sit we need
02:18space Lord God help us
02:22it looks full man yeah real full yeah it really looks like two different museums have come together
02:30and nobody came for like 20 years so that's good for me because that means I can treasure
02:36it boost the African artwork this is a dancing wine from the Sanufo tribe this is a headdress but human
02:42hair napped in they have a room that is loaded with geodes minerals crystals shark's teeth it's insane
02:52that room is a museum on crack there are glass it was foreign but an asteroid came down everybody
02:59collects Civil War bullets but I like carved Civil War bullets Matt Paxton please help my mom help Penny
03:06out they need you he's got a bunch of rocks and geodes and he's got a bunch of African art
03:13I mean a lot
03:14of risk on this one guys anything that looks museum quality you have to kind of question it absolutely
03:20the market is flooded with fakes of geodes art masks dinosaur bones rocks you name it there's a fake
03:31out there for it so we're gonna do our due diligence and really hone in on whether these are authentic
03:37well what I see in the video is honestly a lot of opportunity for value I've seen crystals go for
03:45I mean
03:45thousands and thousands of dollars absolutely a man this could be one of the bigger payoffs we've seen
03:52or we could be walking away with nothing our target items are gonna be Penny's rock and geode collection
03:59their rare African art and those Civil War bullets which would be big money if they're authentic
04:03hello hello hello God Matt good to see you finally yeah nice to meet you Penny welcome all right we
04:11are
04:12excited to see this house man we've been doing this a long time and we saw a lot of things
04:17in
04:17the video y'all sent that we've never seen before cool I was thinking why don't you go with Penny
04:22and
04:22Sandy start doing the tour okay I'll have you guys go check out the backyard and then Scott since you
04:28called me I'm gonna stick with you that'd be great I get calls from the children of hoarders all the
04:34time where they've done as much as they can to help their parents and now they need professional
04:38help to get to the next level our initial walkthrough is just to find out are any of these items
04:44worth
04:45any money and if they are we want to meet with the family and make a deal Wow this is
04:52unbelievable I'm
04:54gonna need just a second here Wow a little bit of everything in here I mean there are some amazing
05:01things I'm seeing in here holy cow I mean walking into Penny's house I don't know whether this is a
05:09madhouse or a museum but I see thousands of dollars everywhere I look can you give me an idea like
05:15what
05:16are the categories of items we're gonna find in this room in this room you're gonna find a lot of
05:20antiquarian books some of the record albums are in this room you'll find some taxidermy you've got
05:27Barry the Beaver Armand the Armadillo we're family members I don't know how much Barry the Beaver is
05:33gonna bring in but when it comes to these vintage books and records I get really excited this is how
05:39we're gonna make some money I think I've seen what I need to see in here how about we go
05:42check out
05:43upstairs sounds good all right is this their bathroom only ones I could use it right now are
05:53the cats is there a usable bathroom in this house they look like this from this so like this all
05:59right
05:59let me peek in here so this is the rock room holy cow dude I don't even know where to
06:06stand and nothing
06:07normal either nothing nothing looks like something you've ever seen but I dig that good Lord these
06:14geodes just so we're clear I mean this could be thousands of dollars rocks and minerals are some
06:22of the most sought-after and valuable collectibles on the planet their complex structures and eye-catching
06:27colors are formed through natural geological processes from intense heat and pressure deep
06:33inside the earth to cooling molten rock where atoms spawn together and crystallize the slower they cool
06:39the bigger the crystals can grow a lot like how precious gemstones are formed with the rarest ones
06:45being worth nearly as much in 2013 a single rose quartz specimen sold for over six hundred and sixty two
06:52thousand dollars I'm kind of speechless and that's it doesn't happen often I did not understand how massive
07:00this rock and geode collection is I thought it was you know a couple trays right now I'm just dealing
07:06with the size of this collection I'm looking at shelf after shelf I don't actually know the monetary value
07:11yet it's gonna take me a while to dig through all these to see what I'm really looking at I'd
07:15like to get
07:15you down to the kitchen the kitchen they really need to get that cleaned up okay they need space okay
07:20this the front porch bro that's what they call it yeah apparently I mean you got some some cool art
07:28some of this will sell because it's unique how would you even price something like this though that's
07:34why we got Mike all right let's see what we've got going on back here Wow what do you call
07:41this room
07:41it was an office at one time it houses my sports car collection moving back when I was a kid
07:47Playboy magazine from 60s and 70s everything in there has a story and personal connection and it's
07:53really gonna be hard to let it go realizing that and discovering that I'm human which is hard hard
07:59to understand it's hard to accept um gotta let these things go for him to even say that he's ready
08:06to
08:06let it go means a lot all right so this is this is the kitchen yeah it doesn't feel like
08:13a kitchen
08:14they made some decisions like we all do that go in the wrong way but it seems good at the
08:21time sure
08:21and now if you guys would help would flip that around all right I'm gonna go meet with the guys
08:29thank you dude thank you for calling me this is amazing all right guys wow yeah I don't that I've
08:40ever seen anything like it I can say I've never seen anything like this is definitely one of a kind
08:44I mean there's some really high-end stuff absolutely I saw museum pieces there's a million items to go
08:49through and we're gonna need very unique buyers and that's gonna be tricky to find where do you think
08:54we could make the most amount of money well I saw some amazing items in the living room I'm curious
09:00about the rocks that's where I'm at the rocks is the room I want to go to I mean I
09:04think there's a
09:04hundred grand in that room like all day long what do you see in outside bunch of African like wooden
09:09mass different kind of sculptures this is the most impressive hoard I've ever seen they have created
09:15spaces to put things on if we took everything out of a room and then you and I tried to
09:19put it back
09:20we'd only get half the stuff yep and if you step on something if you step on something if you
09:24knock
09:24something over it's 500 bucks so please be very very careful what are you on expenses like I think
09:32one dumpster max and labor what would you go to I mean we couldn't get eight people in there no
09:37no
09:38not not eight um we can have that four I would say cleanup costs probably be five thousand all right
09:47I'm excited and nervous at the same time which means you're doing it you're doing the right thing
09:50if you're not nervous old coach Morgan's if you're not nervous you're gonna lose the race
09:55I'm nervous let me go find them make a deal all right get ready stretch start stretching man we'll be
10:00working all right is this stuff odd absolutely but is it valuable it is the hard part is gonna be
10:07working in such tight quarters and finding the right buyers who collect unique items and are
10:12willing to spend big money all right guys hey how you doing I'm a little shell-shocked I don't really
10:19know what to do this is still I mean I just cannot stress how amazing of a collection this is
10:25you know
10:26my goal is six figures to make you guys six figures in four days that changes your life my cleanup
10:34cost should
10:34be about 5,000 but my team's willing to cover that as long as we can work out a fair
10:39split I think the
10:40quality of stuff here is so high I'd probably offer 30% for me 70% for you guys okay
10:48the answer is 20%
10:50and then you shake hands and yeah all right we do good enough I'll go up 25% all right
10:58give me a
10:58number over 250k over 250 there it is quarter million you have to be really careful when you're
11:05managing a client's expectations when they're so emotional about a hoard like this I don't know
11:09that Penny's gonna be happy with any value we get other than 250,000 dollars and if we only get
11:14150,000
11:15I still think that's a really big win but I don't think Penny will be happy with it all right
11:19yeah I'll
11:19take the challenge all right brother thank you thank you I'm excited all right thank you let's get in
11:24there you got a box for me I do all right y'all this is not a regular job that
11:33y'all don't usually do
11:33there's a lot of antiques and there's a lot of fragile things in there y'all ready to get started
11:38let's go with a hoard this dense it's crucial to show progress immediately if we don't show some
11:44type of progress from a cleaning standpoint and from a monetary standpoint I won't even get the
11:48chance to get to 100 grand more or less Penny's insane goal of 250,000 dollars so while Kaylin and
11:54Chris are picking in the kitchen Mike and I are gonna go to the place that we think has the
11:58most value
11:58the rock room this is like I don't even know where to go Jenga and nature here's Feldsbar
12:10fool's gold looks like gold but it's not look at this what the heck is that that's wood it has
12:17moss
12:18around it usually I mean like something like this just blows my mind like these different crystals
12:23coming together he's got some cool old bottles at retail these are four to five grand a piece and
12:32unfortunately he's gonna want retail and that's not what the buyers are paying if I could get three
12:35grand a piece I'd be happy and he's got drawers of them I mean absolute drawers of them oh my
12:42god look
12:42at this little pipe oh there's another one over there too that's really nice he told me he had a
12:50bunch of
12:51civil war stuff all right oh man I found something very cool what'd you get no this is what I
13:07wanted to
13:07find what I've been looking for this for like 10 years oh that is killer
13:22this is what I wanted to find what I've been looking for this for like 10 years oh look at
13:30these what you got civil war bullets this is why we absolutely look through every corner because
13:38believe it or not we always find the needle in the haystack oh wow some of these are hand carved
13:44so
13:44like these are three rings and then there's a two ring do you know the significance on that just
13:51different caliber bullets I don't see any documentation about what battle these might have been from
13:57unfortunately if we can't trace them to a specific battle bullets like these are a dime a dozen
14:02definitely not the big ticket items we were hoping for this is a pretty big hit and that means we're
14:08really counting on making some big rock sales to pump up our totals well this really sucks all right
14:13man I'm gonna keep picking in here why don't you go see what you can find in the hallway
14:22little odds and ends of things these pieces of art are metal sculptures I'm just looking here to try
14:31and confirm but I think they're by an artist by the name of Dorothy Gillespie Dorothy Gillespie was a
14:36pioneer in metal art she's best known for making large-scale metal sculptures with bold vibrant
14:43colors my work is is all from childhood spinning tops bouncing balls she cut and shaped aluminum
14:51and steel into abstract metal sculptures often for public spaces like hospitals and libraries in 2020
14:59the Dorothy Gillespie sculpture kaleidoscope sold at auction for five thousand dollars she died in 2012
15:06people still collect her art and the values only go up and up and up each one of these pieces
15:12could
15:12sell for between five hundred and a thousand dollars all right so the goal here we want to find some
15:24of
15:24the best pieces just so I know what I'm talking about one of my favorite minerals azurite azurite azurite
15:32I got that from a German dealer back in the 1990s what's something like that worth 21 2000 okay this
15:42piece is there's not that many of it came from a particular place in Morocco that's five hundred
15:47thousand dollars just because of this little red it's prostate it's a it's a silver mineral prostate prostate
15:55P-R-O-U-S-T I take Metamucil for that I think we are finding some incredible rocks in
16:02this room some of these
16:04specimens will sell for five figures individually but so far I haven't found anything that's going to get the
16:09whale that I need in this room to buy this entire collection oh man that's gorgeous what I'm trying to
16:16do is I've got a buyer that's going to come in here and I want them to spend some money
16:19right and so I'm trying to look for what's the most
16:21expensive thing in here that someone will buy oh my god look at this megalodon those teeth are
16:29certainly up there these megalodon teeth you know it's not every day that I get to hold multi-million
16:36year old fossils in my hands I mean we're always looking for a white whale ironically in this house
16:41it might actually be a megalodon shark's tooth that's probably four or five thousand four or five grand
16:48for one tooth these massive carnivores began stalking the ocean some 23 million years ago
16:55eventually going extinct 3.6 million years ago they grew up to 80 feet long that's longer than an 18
17:04wheeler with a trailer they can weigh over 40 000 pounds which is about 13 african elephants and had
17:10massive jaws that could open up to seven feet which could comfortably fit a modern day nba player though
17:16long extinct fossilized megalodon teeth have been excavated and prized since as early as 400 bc and
17:23collectors still pay a premium for them today in 2011 a collection was auctioned off with a starting bid
17:30of six hundred and twenty five thousand dollars this is i think the best tooth serrations were perfect
17:38and it grew so fast the ripples in the enamel finding these teeth was huge but like everything in this
17:44house
17:44they're still a very specialized collector's kind of item every collection needs one item to get all
17:50the buyers in hopefully the megalodon tooth is the item we need to bring in some deep pocketed buyers
18:02day two here in lusby while i keep digging through the rock room mike is going to get started on
18:07sales
18:08we've got about 50 civil war bullets the most of these are three ringers there's a few two ringers
18:14well i have 150 in my pocket if you'll take that you know what beau i think you just bought
18:19yourself
18:20some civil war bullets sounds good all right that's awesome we were hoping these civil war bullets were
18:25going to be worth thousands so i'm definitely disappointed in how this is turning out we have a
18:31couple of pieces of uh dorothy gillespie art my grandmother had dorothy gillespie artwork in her
18:37home really so i've been looking for it and i haven't been able to find it that's awesome so for
18:43the two pieces i'm at 900 and you've got a deal i can go 900 awesome all right thank you
18:50mike all right
18:53i've got a really good feeling about these megalodon teeth and fossils but with a collection of this
18:58higher quality and higher quantity i've got to have these authenticated so i called an expert who
19:02really knows his bones steven thank you for coming in tell me what exactly you do sure so i like
19:07to
19:07tell people that i give voice to fossils so every fossil tells a story and uh there's a lovely selection
19:13of fossils here because as you know the price for some fossils has just become astronomical what he has
19:18here they're beautiful specimens like they're these are gem specimens i hope to highlight what i consider
19:23amazing ones to you uh okay so right off um this one here doesn't look like much but these are
19:30two
19:30vertebrae two backbone pieces uh from an extinct tuna but that you have two together that's an extra bonus
19:36now one of the your voice just went up like three octaves so like you're really excited seeing this
19:41stuff i i love looking at fossils and seeing the potential for the stories that i can tell when an
19:46expert gets this excited about what you're showing them you know you're in the right place uh this drawer
19:51is uh super spectacular uh because it has items like this yeah i mean a giant megalodon tooth okay
19:59so the very largest megalodon teeth are just over seven inches these aren't in a world record but they
20:05are what i would refer to as gem specimens which means that they're virtually pristine that's just a
20:10an absolutely magnificent yeah specimen and that's a thousand dollar tooth yes easily see how twisted that
20:16is this is a super messed up tooth and then because it couldn't become like this after it was the
20:23functional tooth so does that make that more valuable yeah this is a rare kind of find there are people
20:28who
20:28are really fixated on i want to have the largest collection of pathological megalodon teeth in the
20:34world and so this would be something that they would highly prize this is huge these fossils are real and
20:40legitimately valuable i can't believe it unfortunately though i've got less than two days to find an
20:46interested buyer with really deep pockets penny has a really great record collection and the best
20:55part is he's kept them in pristine condition that's almost unheard of for a collection of this size
21:01between this shelf and what's in the other room there's about 1500 records
21:08oh now here we go this is the kind of stuff i really geek out on these are nasa photos
21:14at the birth of our space program this says original this is 1961 project mercury
21:23i mean just look at these amazing pictures people will love to have these was the moon landing real
21:30i mean it looks pretty real to me this is marked on the back as nasa
21:35july 31st 1969 we've all seen photos taken in space but to find actual nasa photos with the agency stamp
21:45on the back is way more rare and that makes them way more valuable these are legitimate pieces of history
21:55we are here to make money but scott's also asked us to make this house safe and accessible for his
22:00parents so we've got to focus on making this house clean as possible as well so i'm going to clean
22:04out
22:04the bathroom while kaylin and chris work in the kitchen hopefully we can find more valuables as
22:09we go this is something this is really something that's all i can say about it in this kitchen
22:16it's completely hoarded from the tables to the counters to the floor like everything's covered
22:22so in order for us to get it back to a functioning kitchen we have to remove all of this
22:28stuff even the
22:29trash the big bulky furniture old food all that need to go this might go with that too with all
22:35the crazy stuff in the rest of this house we'll be hoping to find some real valuable things in here
22:40they don't even sell this stuff like this anymore
22:46like this is crazy this is one of the most complicated clean outs i've ever done
22:53i mean you can't just throw anything away here what do i think would be something he wants to keep
22:59and what's rocks this is trying to find disgusting value even though time is precious i have to be really
23:09careful and deliberate in here because pennies got all sorts of crazy things in random places you never
23:14know what you're gonna find hang on a second what do we have here
23:32hang on a second i mean that's 14 karat gold i mean i'm literally finding gold in the bottom of
23:41this thing but this is why you gotta hand pick everything i mean that's gold that's 14 karat gold
23:47that's probably 300 in gold i was definitely not expecting to find gold and silver in the bathroom
23:54sink but hey money is money we got a long way to go to hit my personal goal of 100
24:00000 and it's really
24:01far from penny's goal of 250 000 all right now the rest of this is trash but i'm probably between
24:07silver
24:07and gold that's probably a thousand dollars hey thanks for answering my ad about the sports cards and
24:13magazines about 75 playboys and well over a thousand cards i know collectors love stat leaders
24:21but local collectors love local legends even more i mean signed brooks robinson card he played 23 seasons
24:28for the baltimore orioles uh johnny unidas card star quarterback for the baltimore colts cool all the
24:35playboys are from the late 60s through the 70s i always read it for the articles i don't know about
24:40you but
24:41so what we'd love to do is work out a deal for everything all the cards all the magazines i'm
24:46at
24:47twenty two hundred dollars for the collections 2200 yep i'm thinking more like 1200 for the cards
24:55500 for the magazines it's a 17. you know what we're gonna make that deal all right thank you
25:04congratulations dylan thank you awesome
25:09it is nowhere to even sit comfortable for them to even eat in like this is not functional at all
25:16you know i'm trying to wrap my mind around this cabinet right here if we can get rid of it
25:21that'll
25:21open up the kitchen a lot clearing out this kitchen is way more than just taking out the trash we
25:26also
25:26want to free up space in here so in order for us to get it back to a functioning kitchen
25:31we have to
25:32remove all of this stuff and cabinets for them to be able to sit down and eat a meal you
25:37got to slide
25:37it off slide slide go down go down i'm good i'm good i got it go down go down go
25:44down
25:47watch out for the glass 2k the doors oh oh
25:55without space we can't make these rooms functional and now sandy and penny have a actual kitchen
26:02we've cleared out the kitchen this house is starting to look a lot more livable but we're
26:06not just a cleaning crew we're a making money crew and right now our profits are still way low
26:15we have a bunch of old photos that we pulled from out of the house
26:19and i think i have the perfect buyer for them greg good to see you man good to see you
26:23he acquires vintage memorabilia for local collectors and museums and there's some things that i know he's
26:28going to want to check out very interesting eclectic collection oh yeah a lot of magazines in there and
26:35i love old magazines if they're in rough condition i sell car ads so i'll pull ads out of a
26:40magazine
26:41that otherwise is pretty much shot some of the coolest things i found were these uh nasa photos right
26:47right those are old press photos very interesting that's probably where a lot of the value is there's
26:52good images in there i'll tell you what to cut to the chase 2500 is the lowest i can go
27:00i'll go ahead i'll go ahead 2500. there we go congratulations sounds good get some boxes
27:17this joe scared the living crap out of me what that's crazy oh my goodness bro i think this
27:29was some of the african art we're looking for when i first walked in the house and i saw all
27:34that
27:34african stuff i don't know which way to feel this is a nice mask though like the detail in this
27:39man
27:41this thing is um it's a lot man doing the type of work that we do we don't usually run
27:47up on african
27:48masks this is kind of special hey look k found something else i don't know anything about them
27:54they look like halloween masks but i guarantee they are way more expensive
28:05it's day three we've got to keep selling everything we can and i've still got to find
28:09someone willing to make a big buy in this rock room mark how are you man pretty good how you
28:16good
28:16thanks for coming down i appreciate it all right walk me through what you're looking for okay i'm
28:20looking for high quality shark teeth okay which is what i specialize in but i also specialize in rare
28:26fossils and some minerals okay well we got them all yes i see that we got them all it's an
28:32impressive
28:33collection i'm smiling ear to ear it blew me away when i started opening drawers yeah here is a 25
28:40to
28:40three thousand dollar piece here's another really nice big tooth it has damage but you're talking 2500
28:47100 tops so these are rare shark teeth they're all from one species a rare shark called a peritotus
28:57benedini and these sell from a 104 small one up to 1500 per tooth this is a high dollar tooth
29:07i would
29:08say at least two thousand for that one tooth and you're talking there's probably eight ten thousand dollars
29:13just right here look at that one over in the corner yeah isn't that beautiful that is that's
29:19from india look at that incredible and that's probably a 500-hour six-hour piece just that just
29:26this one piece yeah yeah and this could be 10 or 20. i'm trying to think of a real deal
29:32i can take him
29:33that'll get him excited uh fifty thousand dollars well this is his retirement and he gets it you've got to
29:39some space for profit of course yeah maybe i am undercutting the price because i'm thinking of
29:44wholesale yeah as you know i need to make money oh i get it so we're at 50 000 which
29:50i think is probably
29:50a pretty fair offer honestly you know something's going to sit for you for a long time and it gives
29:54him the financial freedom he needs i think that's an offer i can take him let me meet with him
29:59all right
30:00thank you dude all right yeah this is the most fascinating collection i have ever seen we are starting to
30:07get some real offers significant offers what i will say is the offers are coming in at wholesale
30:14prices they're not coming in at retail prices and a lot of the prices that you and i are talking
30:20about
30:20are retail prices i've met with mark from mark's fossils he's came in and again he's the retailer
30:26right he's offering fifty thousand dollars and then in that we're going to help him pack it up and get
30:31it out of here retail it's not close it's not i want to acknowledge that what can i extract and
30:39still get that offer but he's not looking to break this up that's the offer
30:48he's offering fifty thousand dollars cash for all of that retail it's not close that's great
30:55it's not i want to acknowledge that what what can i extract and still get that offer he's not looking
30:59to break this up oh and he's not looking to break it up no that's the offer those all those
31:04things
31:04for 50 grand or nothing i got to feel good about what to get out of it though because i'm
31:08going to
31:08be living with absolutely and that's why we're having a conversation it's your call but i i want
31:13you to think about what fifty thousand dollars would do to your life yeah for a fifty thousand i'm really
31:19not interested in letting go all right all right don't get me wrong fifty thousand dollars is a ton of
31:25money but not for this specific collection all we can do is stay focused keep cleaning and keep
31:31our fingers crossed for more potential buyers all right let's make some money
31:45we are down to our last day in lesby i need mike focused on selling everything else he can in
31:50the
31:50house like and i'm gonna reach out to every serious rock buyer in the dc metro area but i'm gonna
31:55be
31:55honest we're working but i'm getting nervous wow lenny bruce jackson brown and david brown brook hey i'm mike
32:12our first goal is to make money but our second goal is to make space in this house
32:17and the only way we're going to do that is if i sell things in bulk lots so you're checking
32:21out some
32:22of penny's collections here yeah this is an amazing collection i don't think i've ever seen one quite as
32:27cool he just does such a great job at collecting some of the best of the best i couldn't agree
32:33more
32:33i really couldn't i've built a lot of houses over the years and no this is one of the very
32:39best
32:41well now's your chance you could possibly walk home with some of these things today
32:46but you know i gotta ask what is it that you're most interested in well i would like to get
32:50all the
32:51records in these cases here and then in the other room there's the contents of uh the three cases of
32:57books so about 300 books and 1500 records i'm looking to get eleven thousand dollars for everything
33:05what is your best offer on these items uh ten thousand five hundred awesome ten thousand five
33:13hundred dollars and all this is yours thank you very much man here the stumps right here i think
33:20we should leave these for like the frame and i think we should leave the stones too
33:25so it can like kind of look like a a front yard it doesn't sound like a plane
33:29excuse me i gotta break it gotta break y'all up right quick this big ass anchor it's kind of
33:34unique
33:42what is it that drew you to these objects um so i'm a collector i'm a casual collector i'm also
33:49a
33:49descendant at the national museum of african art that the smithsonian has in dc i'm really interested
33:53in this kuva mask right here he's pretty special it's beautiful let's be real we are running out of
34:01time i haven't found any buyers for the rocks and we're nowhere near the six-figure goal that matt has
34:06for this house that's our minimum and if we don't hit it we're in big trouble luckily we found dozens
34:13of beautiful and valuable african masks and sculptures scattered throughout the house and that
34:18may be the only thing that saves us it's hard to get pieces that are actually this nice
34:23and this well preserved as far as the collection is concerned i'd love to make a deal for everything
34:28okay um for all the objects here on the table i'm at ten thousand dollars
34:38i think that'll be a number that we can all walk away happy with sounds good awesome congratulations
34:45beth thanks so much uh do you do electronic payments i sure do
35:01it's almost time to show penny and sandy the house i mean we're excited we've got over seventy
35:05thousand dollars in sales but it's just not anywhere near my goal of a hundred thousand and it's really
35:11far from penny's goal of two hundred fifty thousand dollars good news is i have one last chance to
35:16show this collection to a deep pocketed buyer it's actually radioactive you know fingers crossed he
35:22comes in buys the entire collection and that would get us a lot closer to our ultimate goal all right
35:27jason how are you dude good thanks for coming in yeah thanks for having me there's a lot of
35:32incredible stuff in here like for instance you know if i could just show you this this drawer up here
35:37for
35:38instance uh it's full of radioactive species you know i mean of course you know you might guess
35:43that from the crazy colors um but even like this big chunk of uranonite would really make a geiger
35:50counter scream what would a drawer like that go for retail retail yeah maybe 10 grand 10 grand for
35:58easy 10 grand all right man you've had time to check out the rocks and the megalodon teeth
36:03what are you thinking um ideally i could buy the whole collection is that is that an opportunity
36:20it's late in the day and soon this job will become a fossil all that's left is to get this
36:24house fully cleared out and show penny and sandy their new evolved home
36:36oh my god it's been a long time you have a front yard now oh wow i think we're supposed

40:30a quality of life that i was hoping for i get to go see my kids more and that means
40:39everything i wanted i was scared the whole time i didn't want to disappoint penny i didn't want to

41:04it enjoy the
41:05space all right i gotta be honest when i started this job i didn't think we were going to make
41:09a lot
41:09of money i mean this collection is as eclectic as penny is but at the end of the day penny
41:15was right this
41:16collection turned out to be exactly what he thought it was worth and we walked away with our biggest
41:21payday yet the old saying a penny saved is a penny earned fortunately we earned
41:26a penny's what we were going to do to work on them now so that i thought it was a
41:30while
41:30it's a big success you know that we were going to have to get to come back in and talk
41:31about them
