00:00According to the polls, I don't know if you believe them or not, a significant number of Americans are highly
00:06disapproving of this conflict.
00:09And I'm wondering whether you think last night's address by President Trump will have changed that.
00:14Well, first of all, I do believe the polls.
00:16I think that they are we've had enough of them that I think we we have a consensus that Americans
00:24are a bit skeptical of the of actions in and surrounding Iran.
00:30I don't think that the president's speech last night really changed much.
00:35What it seemed like to me was more of a my underlings are not explaining this well enough.
00:41I'm going to go out there and do a better job explaining it.
00:44Unfortunately, last night's speech was really the speech the president should have given five weeks ago when the conflict started
00:52and explaining to the American people why we were there.
00:55So some of the expectations that were sent or set for that speech, I don't think were met, which was
01:02a wind down of operations or a pathway forward to ending hostilities.
01:08And I think you see in the in the global markets today and the and the cost of of oil,
01:15for example, shooting up after the speech.
01:17I think you see that it didn't land the way I think the president wanted it to.
01:21I.
01:22We.
01:23We.
01:23We.
