00:00Oil prices are up. Polls still seem to show that a significant number of Americans disapprove
00:05of this conflict. Do you think that President Trump's address last night
00:09will have had the effect of helping Americans to at least understand the rationale for the conflict?
00:15Well, I think he hit the right tones in last night's speech. I mean, look,
00:19obviously the main constituency that he needed to address last night was the American people.
00:24And the truth is, many Americans are busy with their day-to-day lives. They're not paying
00:29a lot of attention, many of them, to this conflict. They're not watching it, frankly,
00:33like you and I are, Tom, with the day-to-day coverage. They're busy planning for spring
00:37break or being on spring break with their family. But they are seeing those gas prices go up. But
00:41the truth is, I think President Trump hit the nail on the head. This is going to be temporary pain
00:47for long-term gain. And I think many Americans nationwide recognize that they're willing to
00:52take a little bit of pain at the pump right now in order to ensure that we have a secure
00:57world,
00:57that we have in Iran that does not have the ability to have a nuclear weapon, that we have in
01:02Iran
01:02that ultimately will not have a regime that wants to destroy America. That is something I think
01:07Americans nationwide recognize. And I think that you're going to see these gas prices go down
01:12over the next few weeks. I believe those prices will come down. Obviously, what happens with the
01:16street and promos matters. And that's going to be key to watch.
