00:00Despite the attempts of Prime Minister Starmer to destroy the relationship between the two countries,
00:05it feels like those people on the ground, like us, will always keep that connection going.
00:11You know, we are united through so much cultural similarity,
00:15and it's such a shame that that has been threatened in the last two years since Starmer came into office.
00:21It's really amazing. I mean, he's done his best to try to wreck that relationship.
00:26I mean, I think the top of the list would be the Chagos Islands,
00:29and not only trying to give away the Chagos Islands and, of course, importantly, the base, the Diego Garcia base,
00:36but also denying the president the use of that base during the launch, the attack on Iran.
00:44And he hasn't forgiven them.
00:46No.
00:46Trump hasn't forgiven the UK.
00:48That was what struck me yesterday when I mentioned to him about Andy Burnham.
00:52And he said, I don't know much about him. He's a liberal.
00:55He said, and then he went on to say with some frustration and actually some emotion that he'd warned Starmer
01:04he had to fix energy
01:07by using fossil fuels again and not being so ready to net zero.
01:11And he has to fix immigration, both illegal and legal migration.
01:15And I think Trump is, he loves the UK.
01:19Yeah. Oh, absolutely.
01:20He's a real Anglophile. His mother was Scottish.
01:22He will always tell you that.
01:23And I think his frustration stems from wanting what is right for the UK and our country.
01:28And when he said, I tried to tell Starmer, I told him he's going to lose his premiership,
01:32he stopped short of saying, and I was right.
01:35Right.
01:36But that was clearly his frustration.
01:38Yeah.
