00:00Trump saying that his talks with Putin don't go anywhere.
00:03It was the second time we've heard that in two days.
00:05What does this reveal about the White House now and what it actually has a view on Moscow?
00:09What is that?
00:10It's still a thought process in transition.
00:14There remains one word that President Trump has not used to describe President Putin
00:22since the 20th of January when President Trump took his oath for a second term.
00:28That is liar.
00:31He has he's he's done incredible linguistic gymnastics to avoid saying that President
00:38Putin has lied to him because during the campaign, he took great pains to say that in his first
00:46term, President Putin didn't lie to him.
00:49President Putin didn't attack anyone.
00:51And so we have this really interesting process that President Trump is going through, almost
01:00like the stages of grief as he as he gains more and more confidence about himself and about
01:09how he's interacting with President Putin and how President Putin's interacting with him.
01:13But this still is a transition.
01:17It's not a defined moment.
01:20And we should all be prepared that President Trump could go the other way very quickly.
