00:00But it's fascinating to me, man, what happened in the Met game yesterday with Francisco Lindor.
00:07Remember, Francisco Lindor is a $300-plus million starting shortstop for the Mets.
00:11He was supposed to be team captain, and the owner of the Mets said,
00:15no team captains while I own the team, so he's not the team captain.
00:18He's also the guy that forced the Mets to trade Brandon Nimmo, Jeff McNeil,
00:22and not re-signed Pete Alonso.
00:24The Pete one's a little less because Dave Stearns, the GM, didn't like Pete Alonso
00:28and didn't think that he should be a part of the future,
00:31but you could maybe put him on the side a little bit.
00:33And the reason that Francisco Lindor wanted those other guys out,
00:36and to a lesser extent Pete Alonso, is because of politics, sadly.
00:40The New York Mets clubhouse last year was divided along who's a Trump guy,
00:44who wasn't a Trump guy, and then the wives got involved,
00:47and one of the wives decided to boycott Francisco Lindor's baby shower
00:52as they were getting ready to have another child, which they did successfully,
00:56and another healthy kid.
00:58And then yesterday, in the very first inning,
01:01so it wasn't like a marathon game where your game went on for five hours
01:05and you kind of lost sight of things.
01:06In the very first inning yesterday, against the St. Louis Cardinals,
01:11Francisco Lindor, man on first, one out, ground ball to short, easy double play,
01:16and he steps on the second base bag and thought the inning was over
01:20and never throws the ball to first base, and then he pulls the old,
01:23my bad, my bad, you know how much that pisses fans off?
01:28And then a couple innings later, he's on first base, Soto's up, their best player,
01:34and he's adjusting his oven mitt that these players right now slide into second base
01:39and whatnot, and he gets picked off first base.
01:42And again, you get, my bad, my bad.
01:45A couple pitches later, Soto hits a bomb for a home run.
01:49Instead of being a two-run home run, it's a solo shot.
01:53The Mets lose in extra innings on a drop pop-up in right field,
01:56and all you get from Francisco Lindor is, my bad, my bad, and that was in the first inning.
02:04Francisco Lindor has to go.
02:06No good anymore for the New York Mets.
02:09If I'm a Mets fan, I've had enough.
02:13You allowed your wife to dictate what players got traded.
02:17You had a big schism in that locker room last year,
02:20and now here we are, what, five, six games, seven games into the baseball season,
02:27and in the first inning of a rubber match against the Cardinals, my bad, my bad.
02:34Francisco Lindor, you got to go.
02:37Well, I mean, Craig, you got to calm down.
02:40Now, everything you said about being, yeah, it's one baseball game.
02:44Like, he deserves to get criticized, and I know you will do that later on this afternoon,
02:49perhaps for all four hours, but it's one baseball game.
02:53You don't part with a really good player because of one idiotic mistake.
02:58Look, they didn't make the playoffs last year.
03:00My bad, my bad.
03:01I don't know how many outs there are.
03:03My bad, my bad.
03:04I got picked off first base because they're putting an oven mitt on.
03:07My bad, my bad.
03:09Francisco Lindor, while a very, very good player, a very, very good player,
03:13and arguably the best shortstop the Mets have had since, I don't know,
03:17Buddy Harrelson back in 1969.
03:20I don't know.
03:21I don't know.
03:22Sure.
03:23He's everything wrong with sports today.
03:27You demand the 300 million bucks.
03:29You get it.
03:30Then you want people to support your political views.
03:33Then you move into a $28 million Upper East Side apartment
03:38while your wife's telling people socialism is the way to go
03:42as she's dropping little breadcrumbs out of her window so the peons can eat.
03:47This dude is not made for New York.
03:49I am sorry.
03:50And as a New York sports fan, I kick him out.
03:54You got to go.
03:55You got to go.
03:56The whole door.
03:57The whole door.
03:57The whole door.
03:57The whole door.
03:58Bye-bye, Francisco Lindor.
03:59You didn't win a damn thing in New York.
04:01Now you're getting all political in the locker room.
04:05You're forcing popular players to be traded, and you don't even know how many outs there are.
04:10And it ain't hard to count to one.
04:12There was one out in the very first inning of the game.
04:17How could you not remember that?
04:19It wasn't two outs.
04:21It's maybe hard to count to two.
04:22He only had to count to one.
04:25Ugh.
04:26Uno.
04:26Uno.
04:26Uno.
04:26Uno.
04:26Uno.
