00:00It is not hot anymore. Honestly, when we talk about Tom Jordan Walker, it was hot in April,
00:05but here we are in July and the guy's OPS is pushing 900. If you want to look toward
00:12why the Cardinals are where they are, I think this is exhibit A. I think there's 26 guys on
00:19the roster, so it can't just be one player, Tom. But Jordan Walker epitomizes, to me,
00:25the surprise of the season. Remember, he's been toiling with the Cardinals up and down in the
00:30minors doing nothing. Like at the point of I'm thinking Heimbloom's just going to get rid of
00:34this guy and try to get something back. Now, all of a sudden, he's on the verge of breaking out
00:39as a
00:39superstar. Yeah, the team itself is constructed very uniquely where they have a lot of homegrown
00:46talent on that roster, just everywhere from pitchers to hitters. And as you said, he has been all over
00:52the place the past few years, just never living up to expectations. You know, he's kind of reaching
00:56some of those expectations. They have the, you know, influx with JJ Weatherholt. They have some
01:00good veteran hitters with Alec Burleson, who I really like, and he's had a great year. Now,
01:05he has cooled off a little bit. April and May, at your point, were very hot for him, but he
01:09is still
01:10being consistent. And seeing him cut down on the strikeouts, I think, is the most important thing.
01:14Seeing better in-zone contact, I think, is one of the turning points that we can look to for him.
01:19And really, all hitters that do eventually turn the corner in-zone contact and cutting down on
01:23strikeouts.
