16:44really is interesting to watch some new age nba offense and by new age i mean if you watch the
16:50way memphis space is and they're not the only team doing it but fewer pick and rolls they're running all
16:55their offense all the way out at half court they're really playing with pace where they run some pick and
17:01roll they get a guy in the middle but he's immediately looking back to the perimeter where in the past
17:06used to throw the ball to the big fellas let them operate enter the post guys were cut
17:11out here in the middle your job is to get back outside space and if you get in the middle
17:15look to the perimeter for your shooters
17:17well tomas isolo first coach in nba history born in finland certainly brought a new system to this
17:23team it led to some tension early in the season did it fit the face of their franchise john moran's
17:29play style well it's a problem they're not dealing with right now because moran is out for the year
17:35along with zach edie jalen wells santi aldama scotty pippen jr brandon clark and contavious caldwell pope
17:44and the knicks out of sync here shammott thought hart was looking for a pass but he was setting a
17:49screen and as the lead is trimmed to six i do think as you know there are different groups playing
17:55together right now that kind of thing the guy coming back with shammott that kind of thing can happen
18:01because the advantage to this system is when the offense when this knicks team understands what
18:06the reads are with certain personnel are more than the defense that's when it turns into a real
18:11advantage of just the miscommunication right there there's camp spencer driving kick down the ball

18:34landry shammott right in the nick of time well and the knicks offense is so dependent on pace
18:39pushing the ball it's a great job by colin just to just get his shoulder by

18:53but if you run the offense slow if you're not spaced all the way to the corner

45:18I've seen a lot of big fellas in our day that'll get that and they're not passing it out
45:23That's not towns and with that assist carl anthony towns has a triple double
45:27And i know they got rejected by jerome both smiling at each other on their way back down the court
45:34And ball hits a three on the other end so it is the second nick triple double for carl anthony

45:41And the fifth in his career 18 points 11 rebounds and 10 assists
45:47And that is the kind of performance that his team knows he can have and he knows he can have
45:52and look there's nights where
45:54He has said it better than anybody he doesn't care who shines he just wants the ball to end up

45:59Every possession right there again another assist for towns and another three from og ananobi the knicks have righted the

46:26The cat's willingness to have the offense run through him and not make it all about him making sure the

46:38These guys are doing a good job tonight against the team that they absolutely should but this is the response

48:38They responded with a long winning streak and they would certainly love one here to head toward the playoffs
48:43But the larger point is how great they've been at responding to adversity and yes
48:49They're supposed to beat this shorthanded grizzlies team but
48:51The bounce back you expected tonight as they've been able to pull away late for memphis
48:56You know it is and i just think oftentimes when there's losing streaks too much is made of it because
49:02yes three losing losses in a row
49:03But we can look at another way this knicks team has won seven out of their last 10 games about
49:09to be eight out of their last 11
49:11Not a great job as of recently
49:14Against oklahoma city that's a very good team on their home court
49:18Bridges misses that one right there
49:19I thought this knicks team played better than it against charlotte and better than it against houston
49:24But yes, it is about getting to the promised land as prosper gets that dunk right there
49:28So you want to be able to beat everybody but in the playoffs that is
49:33Down to a 13-point game but it would be too little too late for memphis and steve
