One Nation's new South Australian MPs have gathered following their success at the state election shedding light on their priorities for the term ahead. 23 per cent of South Australians gave One Nation their first preference at the state election a result their leader says reflects a frustration with two-party politics.

00:29The new MPs leaving the talking to SA leader Corey Bernardi, also successful in the upper house,
00:35who says his party's message resonated with voters who feel left behind.
00:39And One Nation provides an injection, I think, of common sense and hope, and that's what we want to bring

00:47Now we've said we want to lower the cost of living, we want to reform local government,
00:51we want to get rid of net zero and get rid of the Aboriginal voice to Parliament and all race
00:56-based legislations.
00:57One Nation MPs held a media conference, but the ABC was barred from attending because of a dispute over an
01:03interview which occurred before the election.
01:05Mr Bernardi says he's ready to work across the political divide to get things done.
01:10It shouldn't be personal, it's about getting the best results.
01:12I always start from a principle of wanting to work with people rather than against them.
01:15Now whether or not that's their approach, I think they were talking about landmines or something, that's up to them.
01:22Today's gathering was a show of unity from the new One Nation team, but this term will be a major
01:27test for a party that's struggled to hold on to MPs in the past.
01:31There's also pressure on the Liberals to stick together after three of their MPs left Parliament during the last term.
01:39They now hold just five seats and any departures during this term would throw their opposition status into doubt.
