00:02Two days after One Nation's win in Farrah, one phrase is still ringing in the ears of
00:08the state's politicians.
00:09Look, I don't think it's enough to say we're coming. You've got to deliver the policies.
00:12Chris Minns was delivering a new public preschool in Western Sydney today. He says bread and
00:17butter issues like education will decide the next election and doesn't think that's Pauline
00:22Hanson's pet project.
00:24There's a lot of drama around Pauline Hanson. There's a lot of similarities
00:28to MAGA style Trump politics, but state politics is about doing the basics right.
00:35But Pauline Hanson's already made an impression on parts of the city's West.
00:39If you can't see what's going on here, then you're blind.
00:41How do you mean by that?
00:42Well, that's the population explosion.
00:44Yes, I'd vote for One Nation.
00:46So if the election was held today, you'd vote for them?
00:48Sure would.
00:48She's holding them to account and we need someone to do that.
00:51Well, it's not a party that I'd support.
00:54The seat of Penrith is currently Labor's, but at the last election,
00:57One Nation's primary vote was about 8%. Camden was another Labor gain, but One Nation earned
01:03almost 14% of the vote. In Liberal-held Hawkesbury, one in ten voted for Pauline Hanson's party.
01:09And in Labor's seat of Cessnock in the Hunter, One Nation secured more than 15% of the primary vote.
01:15But will the state Liberals follow their Federal colleagues' lead and preference One Nation?
01:20We are honestly not even thinking about it right now.
01:23The time's come for the Coalition to tell us what their plans are.
01:27Not only is the Premier demanding the Liberals rule out preferencing Pauline Hanson's party,
01:32he wants a commitment that they'll never let One Nation into a Coalition government.
01:36The Premier is speaking hypotheticals. This is a fantasy land. He seems obsessed with this.
01:41Not a firm no, but it's a political marriage neither side is seeking.
01:45Tell us about the same thing!
