00:00It is going to be a wet week from Texas, Illinois, and into the northeastern United States as we have

00:09Now, the bad news is some severe weather, some travel delays, the threat for some isolated flooding.
00:16But the good news is the rain is going to be falling in areas that are really dry, especially across
00:21Texas and the southern plains.

00:26You start talking about some severe and extreme drought.
00:30Three storms will be impacting the United States this week.
00:34Storm number one across the Canadian prairies later today.
00:36Storm number two, that's the midweek storm off the California coast.
00:41The third and the caboose, the last in the series of storms in the Gulf of Alaska.
00:46That will produce showers and thunderstorms and severe weather later this week.
00:50All right. We begin as we head towards storm number one tomorrow.
00:54Pretty large area of some risk from Oklahoma City all the way toward Buffalo and Pittsburgh.
01:00And we do have that moderate risk across the upper Midwest, which does include Chicago and Detroit.
01:06That's where we think the severe thunderstorms are going to be a little more numerous.
01:10Damaging winds hail, and I think there will be a few isolated tornadoes.
01:14Now, storm number two, here we go, as we get into Wednesday afternoon, Wednesday night.
01:19This is mostly going to be across the southern plains with a moderate risk right along the I-35 corridor
01:25here.
