00:00Jesus is coming, it's coming again. Jesus is coming, yes, Jesus is coming.
00:12Oh, shout the glad times, the mountain and plain. Jesus is coming again.

01:23And of course there is fear amongst men because of what's going on. I mean we only have to look
01:28at our own country don't we to see that it's not what it was. And you can see by the
01:35fact that when that statue of Nebuchadnezzar with its feet of clay and iron where it says that people will
01:42not mix together. That's where we are in a sense of the moment. People are not mixing together.
01:47And there are reasons for that. Different religions, different cultures. And so you're getting these enclaves or enclaves where you
01:55want to call them of people that just want to keep to themselves and yet they want to take over
01:59at the same time. And we're living in all of that at the moment.
02:03The growing tide I have to say of Islam in this country. And I gather, I don't know if this
02:11is true, I only see it once I know that tomorrow Mr Starber is going to announce a czar for
02:16Islam which will give Islam protected status in this country.
02:20No other religion's got it but they will. Whether that's true or not I don't know. But there's so much
02:26misinformation going about isn't there so we will wait and see.
02:30But you know I think for the truly saved believer this is also a time of encouragement and hope.
02:35Because we see the word of God coming to fruition don't we? We see that our saviour is getting closer
02:43and closer.
02:45And things that were foretold by the prophets are now coming to fruition in our day.
02:51Now I have a lot of respect for Daniel. Daniel is one of those great prophets that was given so
02:58much about these days in which we live.
03:02And in fact all the way down the ages. I mean his prophecies seem to encompass so much.
03:07And I want us to look at that in the context of what Paul wrote in Ephesians chapter 4 when
03:14he's talking about them growing into maturity.
03:17And he says when he's talking about the truth then we will no longer be infants tossed back and forth
03:22by the waves and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of
03:27people in their deceitful scheming.
03:29Instead speaking the truth in love we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who
03:36is the head that is Christ.
03:38From him the whole body joined and held together by every supporting ligament grows and builds itself up in love
03:47as each part does its work.
03:49You know this should be the age for the church. The church should be united together and enabling one another
03:57preaching the word and growing.
04:01Unfortunately we're not though are we? The church seems to have made itself almost irrelevant in many ways.
04:07But we as Bible believing Christians need to help one another and stick to the very word of God.
04:16So when we come to look at prophecy and the things that are going on around us we have to
04:21be grounded in the scriptures and what it says.
04:26Now the first thing that we see in Daniel if we go to Daniel chapter 2 I'm not going to
04:31take you there verse by verse because I'm sure that you know Daniel chapter 2 quite well.
04:36But of course Daniel chapter 2 is given a vision is not given to Daniel it's given to Nebuchadnezzar.
04:46Nebuchadnezzar is a Gentile king and therefore this statue is about the times of the Gentiles.
04:54And in fact we read in Luke 21 verse 24 it says
05:10And so we can see from that verse alone and from Daniel's vision that the time of the Gentiles, the
05:17time that Daniel is talking about with this statue is right from Nebuchadnezzar's day right the way through in fact
05:24to the end of the tribulation period.
05:26Because that's when the end of the Gentiles will come and so he's got this wonderful picture of everything that's
05:34gone on.
05:37Now the thing with Daniel is it's a strange book and it's written in two different languages.
05:44There are parts of it that are written in the Hebrew and in fact the book of Daniel mainly is
05:50written in Hebrew except for the portion that starts in chapter 2 verse 4 believe it or not and goes
05:57right the way through to chapter 7 and that's in Aramaic.
06:00And the reason it's in Aramaic is because it's talking about the Gentiles.
06:06It's a Gentile word if you like and it's not to do necessarily with the Jewish people that will come
06:14later on.
06:16Now I think it's commonly accepted now of what Nebuchadnezzar's dream is all about.
06:22We know that it's different metals, the gold, the silver, the bronze, and we know now of course in hindsight
06:28that those were four different empires and we know what those empires were, don't we?
06:34We know that the Babylonian empire with Nebuchadnezzar was the head of gold.
06:37And then came the Medes and the Persians, then came the Greeks and then came Rome.
06:43And of course each one is both placed within the statue and each one is a slightly lesser type metal
06:51if you like in preciousness and they fit exactly.
06:55When you look at those particular empires you see that Nebuchadnezzar was the head.
07:01The Medes and the Persians where it's got its shoulders was divided into two.
07:05Then you've got the Greeks and the Greeks sort of got into four parts and it goes on.
07:11But it's true, it's got it in the way exactly as it should be.
07:16And Nebuchadnezzar was chosen by God not just to be the greatest empire, but actually he was granted to be
07:26the king over the whole earth.
07:28It was at his disposal in Jeremiah 27 verses 4 to 7.
07:34It says this,
08:04But he didn't.
08:06So I suppose in some ways you could say he lost out a little bit there, didn't he?
08:10But God knew that as well.
08:12But Nebuchadnezzar for some reason was favoured by God.
08:16And we do know, of course, as we look through the book of Daniel, that Nebuchadnezzar, I believe, became a
08:22believer in the God of Daniel.
08:24I won't say a believer in Christ because obviously Christ hadn't come, but the equivalent of a Christian today, I'm
08:31sure.
08:31And was changed, and of course, changed there for his empire to believe in the God of Daniel.
08:40And then as we come down, we look at the toes and we see that the toes were a mixture
08:45of iron and clay.
08:47Sorry, the feet, that is.
08:49And that the toes were ten kings.
08:50And they are part of, because of the iron, they're still linked to part of that fourth empire, which we
08:59believe to be the Roman Empire.
09:01And in fact, if you read Arnold Fruchtenberg's book, The Footsteps of the Messiah, which I have to say I
09:07would commend to anybody, it's a brilliant bit of writing.
09:10He concludes that this empire has a united stage, a two-division stage, and a ten-division stage.
09:17And of course, this can be seen within that image.
09:20And he goes through it in great detail.
09:22It's well worth a read, but it is that thick, so you've got to take your time over it.
09:26So anyway, in chapter 2 then, of Daniel, we see these four Gentile kingdoms, these empires, that are laid out
09:35in time order.
09:36They come one after the other, okay, in time order.
09:41And one takes over from the other, or defeats the one before it, and so on.
09:47And so, that's what we see.
09:50And when Daniel's talking, all the way through Daniel, it's not just under one king, Nebuchadnezzar.
09:55There's about four different kings that he's involved with as the time goes by.
10:01And so you can easily think that some of these things that he's dreaming about are literally almost like on
10:07a nightly basis.
10:08But they're not.
10:10They're over quite a period of time.
10:12And so, we have Daniel.
10:15He's given by Nebuchadnezzar this dream.
10:19Well, he's not given it from Nebuchadnezzar, but it's made known to him for Nebuchadnezzar.
10:23And he reveals it to him.
10:25And, of course, Daniel is therefore uplifted in the king's eyes, as it were.
10:29And you think, oh, what a great story.
10:31And the life goes on.
10:32And then the next chapter comes on, and so on.
10:35And it just carries on.
10:36But it's not quite like that.
10:39Then we come on to Daniel chapter 7.
10:42And in Daniel chapter 7, we find that Daniel himself now is given visions.
10:48He's given dreams.
10:50In verses 2 and 3 of chapter 7, it says,
10:52The four winds of heaven is, of course, a reference to the fact that God is in control.
11:14God is in control of everything that is going on, and all the different events and the timing of those
11:20events.
11:21And then these four beasts arise out of the great sea.
11:25The great sea would obviously be the Mediterranean in those days.
11:30That's what the great sea was.
11:31And so this sea is a reference, if you like, to the fact that the beasts were coming out of
11:40the Gentile nations.
11:42Because they were in the sea and not on the land where Israel was and such like.
11:47So these four beasts are four kings, if you like, that are going to rise from the earth.
11:54That's not a contradiction, by the way, that they're telling us that one minute they're beasts and the next minute
12:00they're kingdoms.
12:00It's just the way he is describing these things.
12:04You know, you can have a kingdom that's a beast of a kingdom, can't you?
12:08And such like.
12:10But anyway, we go on.
12:12But at first reading, as you read this thing through, you could easily think that these dreams that Daniel is
12:20having correspond with the dream or the statue of Nebuchadnezzar.
12:25And I think sometimes we are brought up in that way, of thinking that way, because there are similarities.
12:32There are quite a number of similarities, but there are also a lot of differences.
12:37And it's the differences that make the context of all this so different.
12:42So at first reading, we can we can miss out some things.
12:47So we need to look at the history of what's going on.
12:50The first beast is a lion and it has eagle's wings.
12:57Of course, we look at that and we think, well, that surely is a reference to Nebuchadnezzar, because if you
13:02go to Babylon and they've rebuilt a lot of Babylon now, you'll see that in the architecture and in the
13:09records that they've got that you see this lion with wings.
13:14It's everywhere in Babylon. And so you can understand that the Babylonian empire, Nebuchadnezzar himself, would have been looked upon
13:22as a lion with wings.
13:25Jeremiah 4 verse 6 says, raise the signal to go to Zion, flee for safety without delay, for I am
13:32bringing disaster from the north, even terrible destruction.
13:36A lion has come out of his lair. A destroyer of nations has set out. He has left his place
13:42to lay waste to your land. Your towns will lie in ruins without inhabitants.
13:46That lion that's come out of his lair is talking about Nebuchadnezzar.
13:51In Ezekiel chapter 17, we read, this is what the sovereign Lord says, a great eagle with powerful wings, long
13:59feathers and full of plumage of varied colours, came to Lebanon.
14:03Taking hold of the top of the cedar, he broke off its topmost chute and carried it away to a
14:09land of merchants where he planted it in a city of trailers.
14:13And again, there's reference there to the Babylonians.
14:17And you get a clear explanation in verse 12 of Ezekiel 17 that that is the king of Babylon that
14:26he's talking about.
14:28So you can easily see that this first beast that's described as this lion with wings could easily be the
14:35same as Nebuchadnezzar's gold head, if you like.
14:39But the question is, is it?
14:43The next beast is a bear with three ribs in its mouth and is raised up on one side.
14:50And we've been probably taught that this represents the Medo-Persian Empire, which was very much led by the Persians.
15:00Hence, it's lifted up on one side that the Persians had the sway, if you like.
15:05You get the feeling that it's then talking about that second empire.
15:09And when it then goes down onto the third beast, it's described as a leopard with four wings.
15:15And it is well documented, of course, that Alexander the Great, that destroyed the Medo-Persian Empire,
15:23or had an army that went forward at such great speed that it conquered great areas so quickly that no
15:31one could stop it.
15:31And, of course, he had four generals.
15:35And when he unexpectedly died at such a young age, his empire was split into four.
15:40And so, again, you can see that this Greek empire is very similar to this beast.
15:48The fourth beast, of course, is a terrifying one, and it's got iron teeth and bronze claws.
15:54It crushes everything.
15:56It's not described as a beast in the same way because it's so different from the others.
16:02It's more ferocious than the other beasts.
16:05And it also has ten horns.
16:08And the ten horns are similar to the ten toes of the image.
16:12So we've got the iron of the statue and the ten toes.
16:17And we automatically think, well, of course, this, because it's also of iron, is one and the same.
16:25But it's always about it.
16:27It's all about the timing.
16:31It's all about the timing.
16:34You see, in the image of Nebuchadnezzar and the descriptions that we see,
16:40each empire clearly is shown as coming one after the other.
16:45You see, in Daniel 2, verses 39 to 40, it says,
16:48After you, another kingdom will arise, inferior to yours.
16:53Next, a third kingdom, one of bronze, will rule over the whole earth.
16:58Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron,
17:02for iron breaks and smashes everything.
17:04And as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others.
17:08So they're coming one after the other over a period of time.
17:13And that period of time spans roughly 2,600 years.
17:20But in Daniel's vision, we read, in Daniel 7, verse 3,
17:26Four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea.
17:30They were there together.
17:32He watched them all come up.
17:35And yet, although he saw these four beasts,
17:40He's really only interested in the one, the last one, the one with iron,
17:47because that's the one that, if you like, frightened him the most.
17:51And he says,
17:52Just after that, in my vision at night, I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast.
17:58Terrifying and frightening and very powerful.
18:01It had large iron teeth.
18:03It crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left.
18:07It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.
18:11While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn,
18:14a little one which came up among them,
18:16and three of the first horns were uprooted before it.
18:19This horn had eyes like the eyes of a human being,
18:23and the mouth that spoke boastfully.
18:29So, we have a difference between the statue and this fourth beast.
18:37Now, the thing is this.
18:39Before Daniel inquires, we seem to get a bit of an interlude,
18:43a short interlude within this chapter 7,
18:46that goes off and looks at something else.
18:50And this is quite interesting, because he says in verses 9 to 10,
18:54As I looked, so he's looking at these beasts,
18:56he says,
18:57As I looked, thrones were set in place,
19:00and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
19:02His clothing was as white as snow,
19:05the hair of his head was white like wool,
19:07his throne was flaming with fire,
19:09and its wheels were all ablaze.
19:11A river of fire was flowing,
19:14coming out from before him.
19:16Thousands upon thousands attended him.
19:18Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.
19:20The court was seated, and the books were opened.
19:25It takes you to Revelation, really, doesn't it?
19:27What did John see?
19:28John saw this one dressed in white.
19:32And there's very much there, but it also goes to Ezekiel,
19:35where it talks about the wheels.
19:37And of course, Ezekiel had this wonderful vision in chapter 1,
19:40of God on his throne.
19:42And these wheels that were turning in different directions,
19:45without turning, if you see what I mean.
19:47The same as these creatures that were there,
19:50had these four heads,
19:51and they moved without actually turning.
19:53They just moved.
19:55It's hard to sort of describe.
19:56But have a read through chapter 1 and see it.
19:58It's an amazing description.
20:00And so he seems to be getting a description very similar to that.
20:04His clothing was as white as snow.
20:06The hair of his head was like wool.
20:08His throne was flaming with fire.
20:10He's obviously seeing the Lord Jesus Christ
20:12and all his glory here.
20:14And he took his seat.
20:16The Ancient of Days tags his seat.
20:18The whole of heaven,
20:20a bit like what John says,
20:21when John's told to come up here in Revelation,
20:23and he sees these thousands upon thousands of angels around.
20:29But then it says the court was seated
20:32and the books were opened.
20:35This is the court of God
20:37getting ready to judge the nations of the world.
20:42And then he moves on.
20:44It's a bit of a strange interlude.
20:45Why is it there?
20:47And then he moves on.
20:49It's like a quick snapshot.
20:51It's not even explained.
20:53But Daniel moves then on to the fourth beast again.
20:56And he continues, we're told, to watch.
21:00Now what does it show us?
21:01Well, firstly, again,
21:03it shows us that God is still on his throne.
21:07You know, I'm anxious.
21:08We've been doing a series at our own church
21:10on men who met God.
21:13And there's a number of them
21:15who saw God, if you like,
21:17in a way that nobody else has.
21:19Ezekiel was one of them.
21:20You know, Elijah saw God
21:22in a different way.
21:24Moses saw God in the burning bush.
21:27John, on the island of Patmos,
21:29saw the Lord when he turned around
21:31and this fantastic vision of the Lord.
21:34And so Daniel is getting
21:36in a similar thing here.
21:39And it shows us that God is on his throne.
21:41And I think every time someone sees God
21:44like these men have seen it,
21:46it's like God is saying to him,
21:48don't worry about what you're going through.
21:49Then I'm on the throne.
21:52I mean, can you imagine Elijah was at the top of the mountain
21:55with all these prophets of Baal.
21:57There he is all alone.
21:59And God appears to him in a wonderful way.
22:02He does the deed for him
22:03and Elijah wins the day.
22:05But then Elijah goes running off
22:07and he says, I've had enough.
22:08I want to die.
22:10And God, in his lovely way,
22:13in that still small voice,
22:15meets with him.
22:19Isn't it wonderful to know
22:20that God is still on this throne?
22:23And so there is something here
22:25that gives us something of the timing
22:27of when these beasts occur.
22:29Because it shows us, first of all,
22:31that these beasts are coming out
22:33at a time when God is getting ready to judge.
22:35And we know that God is getting ready to judge
22:38at the end of the last days,
22:39at the end of the tribulation.
22:41And so these beasts
22:43have got to be coming out somewhere there.
22:46But are there any other clues
22:48to the timing of this?
22:50Well, we know that the empires of the statues
22:54have already come and gone.
22:56Well, apart from the feet,
22:58because I think that's where we are at the minute.
23:00You know, we're amongst the feet.
23:02We know that the nations of the world
23:04are not mixing together.
23:05And we know that the kingdom of God
23:07is going to come out during that time
23:08and build into a mountain and such like.
23:12So we know that we're coming to the end of that.
23:16But what about these beasts?
23:18It tells us that these beasts,
23:21which are kingdoms,
23:24are now coming out.
23:27The person whom David speaks to
23:29and gets an interpretation from
23:30states that these are four kingdoms.
23:33And then he says this in Daniel 7, verse 18.
23:35But the holy people of the Most High
23:38will receive the kingdom
23:40and will possess it forever.
23:42Yes, forever and ever.
23:44So there's another clue here
23:46that when these beasts appear
23:49and he's talking to this,
23:51we'll call him an angel,
23:52we don't know who he is,
23:53but we talk to him and he says,
23:55he says, yes,
23:56but the holy people of the Most High,
23:58the people of Israel,
23:59he's talking about here,
24:02Israel will receive the kingdom
24:05and will possess it forever and ever.
24:08Well, we know that Israel
24:10has only had the kingdom
24:12properly now since 1948,
24:14don't we?
24:15But we know that they're not going to be moved.
24:17They're going to have it now forever and ever.
24:20Why?
24:20Because that was a promise of God.
24:22I will give you this land forever.
24:26So what can we determine from that?
24:30Well, we can see that the fourth beast
24:32with iron teeth
24:33is an antichrist beast system.
24:36The antichrist is among them.
24:38He's there.
24:39He's speaking these blasphemy words.
24:41He's this horn that rips up three other horns.
24:45This small horn.
24:47And it says,
24:49and it will take over the whole earth.
24:52So Daniel 7, verse 21 and 22 says,
24:55as I watched,
24:56this horn was waging war
24:58against the holy people
24:59and defeating them.
25:02There's another clue there.
25:03The Israeli people have not been defeated yet
25:05or being defeated.
25:07They're in the ascendance, if you like.
25:09They're one of the strongest nations
25:11in the world today at the moment.
25:13And it seems to me
25:14that whatever they set their mind at,
25:17they accomplish.
25:19No other nation
25:20would have been able to do
25:21what they did to Iran
25:23on that first occasion.
25:24It was unprecedented.
25:27And yet, this verse,
25:2921 and 22,
25:30says,
25:30this horn was waging war
25:32against the holy people
25:33and defeating them
25:35until the Ancient of Days
25:38came and pronounced judgment
25:39in favor of the holy people
25:41of the Most High
25:42and the time came
25:43when they possessed the kingdom.
25:46He gave me this explanation.
25:48The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom
25:50that will appear on earth.
25:52It will be different
25:52from all other kingdoms
25:54and will devour the whole earth,
25:58trampling it down
25:59and crushing it.
26:00The ten horns are ten kings
26:02who will come from this kingdom.
26:05After them,
26:06another king will arise,
26:07different from the early ones,
26:09and he will subdue three kings.
26:11He will speak against the Most High
26:13and oppress his holy people
26:15and try to change the set times
26:17and the laws.
26:18The holy people
26:19will be delivered into his hands,
26:21what?
26:21For a time,
26:22times,
26:23and half a time.
26:24So what we're seeing now
26:27is this vision of these beasts
26:29in a very small time frame
26:32and that time frame
26:34is backed up by the fact
26:35that God is getting
26:36this courtroom ready to judge
26:38that the people of Israel
26:40will be in the land
26:42but they will also be
26:44being defeated
26:45by this fourth beast
26:48until,
26:49well, we're told,
26:50and they will be trampling dinner
26:51and the holy people
26:53will be delivered into his hands
26:54for a time,
26:55times,
26:55and
26:56after three and a half years,
26:57in other words,
26:59three and a half years,
27:00the final three and a half years
27:01of the tribulation period.
27:03What we know
27:03as the time of Jacob's trouble,
27:05the great tribulation.
27:07So although Israel
27:09is going to possess
27:09the kingdom forever,
27:12during that time
27:13of this fourth king,
27:14this antichrist,
27:16this antichrist
27:18and his system,
27:19whatever way you want to put it,
27:20they are going to be
27:22defeated and oppressed
27:23for three and a half years.
27:26Well, we know
27:27that's going to happen
27:28because, of course,
27:29the scriptures talk about it
27:30in other places.
27:33But it clearly puts us
27:35in the second half
27:36of the tribulation period,
27:37the days of Jacob's trouble.
27:40And the chapter ends,
27:41verses 26 and 27,
27:43with victory for Israel.
27:45It says,
27:46but the court will sit
27:47and his power,
27:49the antichrist,
27:50will be taken away
27:51and completely destroyed forever.
27:54Then the sovereignty,
27:56power and greatness
27:57of all the kingdoms
27:58under heaven
27:59will be handed over
28:00to the holy people
28:01of the Most High.
28:03His kingdom
28:04will be an everlasting kingdom
28:06and all rulers
28:07will worship
28:08and obey him.
28:12The kingdoms of God
28:14or the kingdoms
28:15of the world
28:16will be brought
28:16under
28:19messianic rule
28:20of Christ
28:20and the children
28:22of Israel
28:23that are left
28:23are clearly going
28:25to be there
28:26with him
28:26to rule,
28:28to worship
28:29and to obey.
28:33Now I think
28:33it's quite clear
28:34that we don't know
28:35who these beasts are.
28:36We can have a bit
28:37of a guess.
28:38I might just do that
28:39in a minute.
28:39We'll have a little bit
28:40of a guess.
28:41But the fact is this,
28:42we've got a time frame
28:43and they are totally different
28:44from what was going on
28:46in the statue.
28:47The statue is a whole stretch
28:49of the times
28:51of the Gentiles
28:52at only 2,500 years
28:53but these beasts
28:55are coming at a time
28:56at the end of that
28:58just before
28:59the times
29:00of the Gentiles
29:01comes to an end.
29:05And it ends
29:07of course
29:08with the victory
29:08of our Lord Jesus Christ.
29:12So we've looked
29:14at a brief description
29:15of the beasts
29:16and we've seen
29:17that they're different
29:18we've seen their time.
29:19I suppose
29:20the question
29:21that's got to be
29:22do we know
29:22who these beasts are?
29:25And being the sort
29:26of inquisitive guy
29:27I am
29:27I like to make a stab
29:29at these things
29:29and I have to say
29:31I don't know
29:32whether I'm right
29:32or wrong
29:33only time will tell.
29:36You may totally
29:36disagree with me
29:37on this
29:37and I wouldn't blame
29:39you one little bit
29:40for that.
29:41But obviously
29:42there are going
29:43to be three beasts
29:44before this fourth one
29:46takes over
29:46the whole world.
29:48Can we see
29:49who they are?
29:49Well with all that's
29:50going on at the minute
29:51perhaps those three beasts
29:53are
29:53they haven't literally
29:55come to the forefront yet
29:56but
29:57perhaps we can see
29:58a little bit
29:59about who they are
30:00by looking at
30:01their description.
30:02Two of the beasts
30:03are perhaps a little bit
30:04more easy to explain
30:06than the third
30:06so perhaps we should
30:08start there
30:08and say let's have
30:09a little look
30:09at the second beast.
30:11The second beast
30:12is described
30:13in verse 5
30:14as
30:14and there before me
30:15was a second beast
30:16which looked like a bear
30:17it was raised up
30:19on one of its sides
30:20and it had three ribs
30:21in its mouth
30:21between its teeth
30:22it was told
30:23get up and eat
30:24your fill
30:24of flesh.
30:26Well
30:27although you would
30:28think that this is
30:29the Medes
30:30and the Persians
30:31they're long gone
30:32they don't exist anymore
30:34by the way
30:34of the image
30:35anyway.
30:38But we're also told
30:39if we go into
30:40Daniel 8
30:40verse 20
30:41that the two horned
30:43ram
30:43that you saw
30:44represents
30:45the kings of
30:46Media and Persia.
30:48That straight away
30:49disqualifies them
30:51as being the ones
30:52that it's talking about.
30:54Now the bear
30:55has always been
30:56an emblem of Russia
30:57and of course
30:58it could be said
30:59from history
31:00that Russia
31:01in its early days
31:02consisted of
31:03three areas
31:04hence the three ribs.
31:06Those areas being
31:07Russia itself
31:08the Ukraine
31:09and Siberia.
31:11Well of course
31:12it's gone on from that
31:13and it took over
31:14the whole of
31:15what we used to call
31:16the Soviet Union
31:17before its
31:17demise.
31:20But it's a possibility
31:22and we do know
31:23that of course
31:24that Russia is very much
31:25involved in
31:26end times prophecies
31:27and that God says
31:28I will put a hook
31:29in your jaw
31:30and I will bring you out.
31:32Is that so he can get up
31:33and fill with flesh?
31:35Who knows?
31:36It's only
31:37it's only a surmise
31:38I have to say.
31:39We won't know
31:40until we actually have
31:41but it's a possibility
31:42and that's why I think
31:43I'm keeping my eye
31:45a little bit on Russia
31:46at the moment
31:46with what's going on
31:47to see
31:49is this going to
31:50drag him out?
31:51I don't know.
31:52We will see.
31:53If it does
31:53then the Lord's coming
31:54is a lot closer
31:55than we probably think.
31:58There's a lot more
31:58scripture to look at
31:59I think
32:00before we go
32:00right down the road
32:01of saying that
32:02for definite.
32:04And then also
32:04of course
32:05in the book of Ezekiel
32:07we read a little bit
32:07more about Russia
32:08because in
32:10Ezekiel 38
32:11it says
32:11Son of man
32:13set your face
32:13against Gog
32:14and the land of Magog
32:15the chief prince
32:16of Meshach and Tubal
32:17prophesied against him
32:19and saying
32:19this is what
32:20the sovereign lord says
32:21I am against you
32:22Gog
32:22chief priest
32:23of Meshach and Tubal
32:25I will turn you around
32:26put hooks in your jaws
32:27and bring
32:28jaws
32:29not your jaws
32:30bring you out
32:31with your whole army
32:32your horses
32:33your horsemen
32:34fully armed
32:35and a great horde
32:36with large and small shields
32:37all of them
32:38brandishing
32:39their swords.
32:40Well we know
32:41that Gog and Magog
32:42Meshach and Tubal
32:43represents
32:44places
32:45in modern day Russia
32:47so
32:48the word of God
32:49seems to have links
32:51to that possibility
32:54that it is
32:55Russia
32:56today
32:57so the bear
32:58could well be
32:59the Russian kingdom
33:01but the third beast
33:02is described
33:03after this
33:05I looked
33:05and there before me
33:06was another beast
33:07one that looked
33:07like a leopard
33:08and on its back
33:09it had four wings
33:10like those of a bird
33:12this beast
33:13and four heads
33:14and it was given
33:15authority
33:15to rule
33:17at first
33:18looking at that
33:18you again think
33:19that being a leopard
33:20that it would be quick
33:22and therefore
33:23it's something to do
33:24with Greece
33:24but
33:25it doesn't seem
33:26to be the case
33:27and it is quite
33:27a difficult one
33:28to sort of
33:29pin down
33:31so what I want
33:32to bring to you
33:33is one possible nation
33:35that could
33:36be that
33:37fits the bill
33:38in some way
33:39shape or form
33:39and again
33:40I'm not saying it is
33:41I just like to put
33:42things out there
33:43a little bit
33:44it's worth considering
33:46I looked at China
33:47and I thought
33:47well it's definitely
33:48not China
33:49even though
33:49China does
33:50these things
33:51with its animals
33:52and the year of this
33:53and the year of that
33:53but the leopard
33:55is not involved
33:55in that at all
33:57and of course
33:58they come in prophecy
33:59don't they
33:59later on
34:00with the kings
34:00of the east
34:01so I ruled them out
34:02but if we were
34:04to look at a nation
34:05that in a sense
34:06seems to fill the facts
34:07I would have to go
34:09to Germany
34:11not on its own though
34:12but Germany
34:13you could describe it
34:15as a bit of a leopard
34:16because in World War II
34:17when it started the war
34:19and it had this blitzkrieg
34:21it went across Europe
34:22so fast
34:23that it caught everybody out
34:24and so you could think
34:26that it had the speed
34:29of a leopard
34:29and was like a leopard
34:30but what about
34:31the four wings
34:32and the four heads
34:34well
34:35we know it's fast
34:36it also had
34:38four reichs
34:39didn't it
34:40you know
34:40the first, second, third
34:41and fourth reich
34:42although the fourth reich
34:43is what they would call
34:44perhaps today
34:45the Holy Roman Empire
34:48but it's there
34:49it's a possibility
34:50the third reich
34:51was of course
34:51Adolf Hitler
34:53and so on
34:54the third reich
34:55was defeated
34:56in World War II
34:57and of course
34:58you could say
34:59was that a bit
35:00to do with the beast
35:01that had a fatal wound
35:03and then came back
35:04to life again
35:05where you could say
35:06that about Germany
35:07that they've got
35:07a fatal wound
35:08under Hitler
35:08and it possibly
35:10did come back
35:11and it is certainly
35:12a guiding force
35:14with the European Union
35:16and of course
35:17part of its flag
35:18part of the
35:20things that they had
35:21in World War II
35:22were the wings of an eagle
35:23that was part of Hitler's
35:25thing
35:25and it's part of their flag
35:27today
35:27I believe
35:28it has a wing
35:28but it's only got two wings
35:29so when are the other
35:31two wings coming
35:31well it seems to me
35:34that within the European Union
35:36Germany and France
35:37are very close together
35:39and the standard
35:40if you like
35:41of France
35:41is the cockerel
35:43and of course
35:44the cockerel
35:44has two wings
35:45now notice
35:46this is very loose
35:47very loose
35:48in the way I'm putting it
35:49but it's a possibility
35:50that together
35:51they come together
35:52and become that
35:54and I was very interested
35:55that in the latest edition
35:56of the British Church newspaper
35:58Macron is appealing
36:00to become
36:01for Europe
36:02to become
36:03a world power
36:05and I thought
36:06that was very timely
36:07that it's possible
36:08and apparently
36:09it was made
36:10after the World Economic Forum
36:12meeting together
36:13that he said
36:14it's time to start
36:15acting like
36:16a power
36:18not just this
36:19European Union
36:20but a European power
36:22so there's a possibility
36:23there
36:24I'm not saying
36:25it's right or wrong
36:25but it's a possibility
36:26and then of course
36:28you could say
36:29but the USA
36:30has got eagle's wings
36:32well who knows
36:33what's going to be
36:33with Trump involved
36:34at the moment
36:35you just don't know
36:36where that one's going
36:37but anyway
36:38the fact is this
36:39you know
36:40they're there
36:41for consideration
36:42they may not be
36:43the right things at all
36:44they may be totally
36:45something
36:45totally different
36:47I don't really think
36:48necessarily
36:49that it's correct
36:50to get them right
36:51it's just the fact
36:52that these things
36:53are around
36:55but
36:56the first piece
36:57is described
36:58as a lion
36:59and it says
37:00the first was like a lion
37:01it had wings of an eagle
37:02I watched until
37:04its wings were torn off
37:05and it was lifted
37:06from the ground
37:07so that it stood
37:07on two feet
37:08like a human being
37:09and the mind of a human
37:11was given to it
37:11and I thought
37:12you know
37:12Great Britain
37:14has always been
37:14the lion
37:15hasn't it
37:16it's always been
37:17the lion
37:17and the USA
37:18came out of
37:19the lion
37:20so
37:20they've sort of been
37:23sort of together
37:24the lions
37:25if you like
37:25and they've been
37:27close allies
37:27for decades
37:29not so much longer
37:31by the sounds of it
37:32but
37:32you know
37:33there they are
37:33these lions
37:34but the situation
37:36now of course
37:36is very different
37:38we are allies
37:39it would appear
37:40in name only
37:41because Mr Starmer
37:43doesn't seem to be
37:44wanting to back up
37:45his allies
37:46with action
37:47it looks like
37:48the only ship
37:49that we have got
37:49that might be going
37:50still hasn't crossed
37:51the sea yet
37:53well at least
37:54that's one promise
37:55he did keep

38:16against Iran
38:17against Europe
38:19with its tariffs
38:20of course

38:23he's going
38:24it would seem
38:24after Greenland
38:25like I don't know
38:26what at the moment
38:27I was very interested
38:29in that
38:29because when he first
38:30mentioned Greenland
38:31of course he was
38:32running for president
38:33and he said
38:33we're going to have
38:34Greenland
38:34and I thought
38:34what's that all about
38:35why should he
38:36suddenly pick Greenland
38:38out as a country
38:39and then I went
38:41back to Ten Kingdoms
38:43and everyone
38:44looked at that
38:44and thought
38:44well they're the
38:45Ten Kingdoms
38:46of the regulation
38:46whether they are
38:48or not
38:48I don't know
38:48but that's what
38:49it was sort of
38:50back in the 70s
38:51anyway
38:51everyone seemed
38:52to think that way
38:53but when I looked
38:54at one of the kingdoms
38:55which was America
38:56it included
38:57Greenland in it
38:58so Greenland
39:00was part of that
39:00and I suddenly thought
39:01that's why
39:02he's going for Greenland
39:03because under
39:05or with all this
39:06pretense of him
39:07being against the elite
39:08and all the rest of it
39:09actually he's not
39:10he's with them
39:11and he's just playing
39:13bad cop
39:13and good cop
39:14and all the rest of it
39:15when it suits
39:15but of course
39:17they're in there
39:18and he's trying
39:18to broker peace
39:19between Russia
39:20and the Ukraine
39:21as well
39:21and he's acting
39:22like a lion
39:23but he's also
39:24the figure of a man
39:25but you know
39:26America has become
39:27very humanistic
39:28as well
39:29and it says
39:30it's got the heart
39:31of a human being
39:33again I wouldn't
39:34be dogmatic
39:35but are these
39:36possibly
39:36the beasts
39:38that are going to
39:38come out
39:39and do things
39:40in the end days
39:41I don't know
39:42we will have to
39:43wait and see
39:44but the conclusion
39:46to this
39:46is not so much
39:47about getting it
39:48right
39:48and guessing it
39:49right
39:49making sure
39:50that we know
39:51these things
39:53but knowing
39:54that scripture
39:55is true
39:55in what it does
39:56and that the
39:56statue of chapter
39:58two is different
39:59to what's going
40:00on in chapter
40:00seven
40:01one involves
40:02the Gentiles
40:03the other
40:03involves Israel
40:05why would he
40:06be given
40:07if you like
40:07the same vision
40:08or have those
40:10two missions
40:11if you like
40:11nearly 50 years
40:12apart
40:13because if you
40:14look at it
40:14properly
40:15that's what it
40:15is you see
40:16because between
40:17chapter two
40:18and seven
40:20you've got
40:21roughly 50 years
40:24it seems
40:25that chapter
40:26eight appears
40:26to lump it
40:27all together
40:27to being
40:29all about
40:29the end times
40:31because verse
40:3219 of chapter
40:33eight uses
40:34this term
40:35the time
40:35of wrath
40:37but when you
40:38read on
40:39you see that
40:40although this
40:41is the
40:42future
40:42for Daniel
40:44it is to
40:45do with
40:46the wrath
40:46that is
40:47coming
40:47on Israel
40:48and Jerusalem
40:51and we
40:51know that
40:52all through
40:52the scriptures
40:53all through
40:53the years
40:54Jerusalem
40:54has been
40:55hit time
40:56and time
40:56again
40:56in fact
40:57it's been
40:57fought over
40:58more than
40:58any other
40:59city in
40:59the world
41:01but most
41:02of it's
41:02because
41:03they've
41:04been
41:04disobedient
41:06at the
41:07end of
41:07Alexander's
41:08reign
41:08there were
41:09generals
41:10that took
41:10power
41:11Antiochus
41:11Epiphanes
41:12was definitely
41:13one that
41:13was involved
41:14the revolt
41:15of the
41:15Maccabees
41:15and then
41:16of course
41:16you had
41:16the Jerusalem
41:17destruction
41:17in AD
41:1870
41:20but it
41:21would appear
41:22that the
41:22three beasts
41:23of chapter
41:23seven
41:24are nations
41:25and empires
41:26that may
41:26well be
41:27with us
41:28today
41:28and the
41:29fourth one
41:30is still
41:30to emerge
41:32after those
41:33three
41:33have done
41:34whatever it is
41:35they're going
41:35to do
41:37but we
41:38do know
41:38that that
41:39fourth beast
41:39for a short
41:40time anyway
41:41will consume
41:41the whole
41:42world
41:44so we're
41:44not quite
41:45there yet
41:46but we
41:47are on the
41:47verge of
41:48those things
41:50and then
41:51it says
41:51the end
41:52will come
41:53and of
41:54course
41:54God's
41:55judgment
41:55will fall
41:56upon
41:57the world
41:58and it
41:59will certainly
41:59fall upon
42:00the Antichrist
42:01and his
42:02system
42:03and they
42:04will be
42:04completely
42:05done away

42:09encouraging

42:12millennial

42:13will follow

42:21encouragement

42:26turmoil

42:28looks as
42:29though it's
42:30going to
42:30destroy

42:32many ways

42:35looks as

42:35done and
42:36dusted
42:38God
42:39is in
42:40control
42:41and we
42:42can rely
42:42on our
42:43Lord and
42:43Saviour
42:44because he
42:45is with us
42:45always
42:46never will
42:47I leave

42:48forsake

42:49and so
42:50we can
42:50face the
42:51future
42:51with
42:52encouragement
42:53and we
42:54can face
42:54the future
42:55without worry
42:56without fear
42:57because
42:58our God
42:59our Lord

43:04that throne
