00:00High King of heaven, after victory won, May I reach heaven's joys, O bright and sun,
00:15Heart of my own heart, whatever before, Shall be my vision, O ruler of all.
00:32Well, thank you so much. It's a privilege for me to be here tonight.
00:37My name is Sergio Dannon, or Sergio Dannon, as you pronounce here in England.
00:43I'm from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. I'm with the international mission to Jewish people.
00:49And it's a blessing for me to share with you.
00:53Today, what's going to happen, I'm going to share my testimony, and then I'll also tell some stories from the field.
01:00So, I was born and raised Jewish, and came to faith, confessed Jesus as when I was 20, and I'll give you details about that.
01:09Okay, and since then, that's what I have been doing, witnessing to my Jewish people.
01:15Well, as you can see, my name is Sergio Dannon, and that was how I was when I was just a new baby.
01:27I was born in 1968. My father, who was a professional photographer, he was the one who took this picture and developed that.
01:41And basically, I was raised in a Jewish home.
01:44You know, I went to Jewish school. You can see my picture there.
01:47Maybe I was like four or five years old there. It was a celebration of the Feast of Hanukkah, which is one of the traditional festivals close to Christmas, usually.
02:02When I was 13, I had my Bar Mitzvah.
02:07One thing that is important for you to tell, you know, my father was born Jewish.
02:13My mother, she was not. She converted to Judaism before getting married to my father.
02:22And it is interesting because when my parents, they decided to get married, her father was Catholic.
02:31And they said, no, no, we're just getting married, not religious wedding.
02:37And he said, no, no, they're gods, our gods.
02:41So you need to convert to Judaism.
02:44So that's what she did.
02:45She went through a whole process for years of studying in Judaism throughout the whole time that they were dating.
02:52And her conversion was so much recognized that her conversion was signed by the great rabbi in Israel.
03:03So it was really legitimate, her conversion to Judaism back then.
03:10And that's funny because when she got married, my grandmother, my Jewish grandmother,
03:16she would say that my mother was the most Jewish daughter-in-law that she had.
03:22Because she was exactly the one who would light the candles and follow all the traditions,
03:28which the ones who were born didn't care much.
03:32So that's exactly how I grew up, you know, even having grandparents who were Catholic,
03:37I was really raised in Judaism.
03:40And the things that when I had my Bar Mitzvah, all of you know what Bar Mitzvah is?
03:43Yeah, it's a Jewish moment when the boy goes before the whole community and before God
03:51and has a commitment to obey the Jewish law and is responsible of his sins before God.
03:59Okay, so religion speaking is considered an adult, even when he's only 13 years old.
04:07Okay, but two months before I had my Bar Mitzvah, my father, he left our home.
04:13Okay, he decided to separate from my mother. It was a really difficult time for us.
04:21And because of that, you know, my Bar Mitzvah was going to happen in March.
04:27It had to be postponed because the rabbi felt that was not a good moment for us to celebrate.
04:34Okay, so my Bar Mitzvah was going to happen in March. It was postponed to July.
04:41So it was a mess in our family by that moment, especially because when we prepare for the Bar Mitzvah,
04:48you know, we memorize the Parashah, you know, the portion of the Torah that we're going to sing
04:56and has to be sang exactly precisely like that. And in another month, I had to memorize everything
05:03again because it would be a different portion. Okay, so it was harder also because of that.
05:09But it was a moment that my father, when he, I'm the oldest from three sons, you know,
05:16one brother and one sister, I'm the oldest one. And when my father, he decided to go away from home,
05:25you know, he came just to me, you know, as a firstborn. And he said,
05:31son, you know, I'm going to go out of home and I want you to be helping your mother and help her,
05:38you know, take care of your brother and sister. I'm not going to tell them about that, you know,
05:46your mother and you will be the ones. So it was, he was putting a lot of responsibility over me,
05:52even before I had my Bar Mitzvah, when I was only 12. And my mother, she didn't get much help
05:59of the Jewish community. You know, she just felt that she was not being supported, you know, by the
06:09community. So she started to look for help in every kind of religion that you can imagine.
06:18Then her father, her Catholic father came to her and said, you know, daughter,
06:25I know that you're really seeking God. And, but if I were to seek God, I would go to this church.
06:34And he pointed to her, the evangelical church, you know, he said, no, I was born Catholic,
06:38I would die Catholic. But if I have to choose a church, go to this church. And that's where
06:43she started to feel really welcome.
06:49And then I had my Bar Mitzvah, you know, and usually when you have a Bar Mitzvah,
06:54you have a really big celebration, you know, at least there, back there in Brazil,
06:58like 40 years, 45 years ago, we would have a whole day of celebration. You know,
07:06we start in the morning, have a, after the service, have a breakfast, then had lunch,
07:14tea time and dancing the whole day would be really a whole day festival. But I didn't have reason to
07:22celebrate. So I asked my parents for a trip to Florida, Disney World, the dream of a teenage by
07:30that time. And that's what happened. I stayed two weeks in, in Florida. And when, when I returned,
07:40my father, he had come back home. So it was a delight for us, you know, and, and what happened,
07:47my mother, she felt like she was blessed, that God had already blessed her. So she said, okay,
07:56let's go back to our normal lives. And that's what happened. You know,
08:01we just returned our lives in the synagogue and everything back to normal. Until I was 16,
08:09my mother, she went, she had to go through a surgery. And she had a blood,
08:18how do you say, hemorrhagy, a blood loss. So, but the problem is that only found out three days later.
08:26And, and she had to take some transfusion.
08:30But the problems that they gave her wrong and contaminated blood.
08:38It was exactly during the time that, uh, HIV was showing up and she was really concerned about that.
08:49And then she says that when she received the blood, not the transfusions, she felt like her,
08:54like her, uh, like her, uh, bones were like breaking, you know, cracking.
09:02And she was on a semi-coma for a whole month.
09:07She could not react, but she could hear everything that the doctors were saying.
09:16And one day the doctors came to my father and they said, you know, uh, she's not going to survive.
09:22Only a miracle for her to survive.
09:27And the things that when she heard that, as I mentioned, she could not react.
09:32But when the doctors said that, she saw Jesus.
09:40It was by, by her bed. She saw him. He just smiled at her.
09:46And she said that because of that, she was not going to die.
09:49And usually I tell her, you know, a kid, you know, mom, you know, if, if, if Jesus shows up to me like that,
09:56and said, just take me, you know, I'm ready.
09:59But the things that she was not ready, she hadn't confessed Jesus yet.
10:04And what happened is that when she left the hospital, you know, when she woke up,
10:13the doctor said, okay, the miracle happened, but she is going to have several troubles in
10:18throughout her life, you know, sequels.
10:20Now she's going to have anemia, uh, hepatitis, several other problems, you know,
10:27they named like five or six diseases. And, and they said, she's never going to be healed
10:33from those diseases throughout her life.
10:36Well, they didn't know God because she was healed to each one of those diseases.
10:40Okay. She doesn't have anything. She's still alive today.
10:45And when she left the hospital, she came to my father and said, you know, we made a mistake.
10:49I had a, I started to have a relationship with God and I gave my back to him.
10:59And I want to go back to church.
11:02So there she went back to that same church that her father pointed to her some years ago.
11:09And, but she said to my father, you know, but I want you to go back with me.
11:14He told her, you know, I'm Jewish. I was raised Jewish. This is not for me, but I will,
11:21I'll be with you. I'll just sit by your side. I'll just cross my arms. I will not sing. I'm not
11:27praying. I'm not doing anything. Just be by your side. And she said, okay, at least you'll be with me.
11:34In three months, both of them were being baptized. That's how it all started. I was 16.
11:42Okay. Back then it was a Pentecostal church that they were going and, and they had a, a TV show
11:53and they were interviewed for the whole week. You know, a Jewish couple coming to faith in Jesus.
12:00And one of those days, one of my uncles, his, one of his brothers, one of his, um, one of my Jewish uncles,
12:12he saw the interview. You know, don't ask me what he was doing, watching a, a Christian TV show.
12:19But he said that he was just running through the channels. Well, back then there was not even cable
12:27in Brazil. So just live TV, you know, from, uh, and that weekends, one of my, uh, one of my cousins,
12:37she was getting engaged. And this uncle, he called my, my father and he said, you know, Rachel, she's
12:45getting engaged this weekend. And only Jewish people will be here. Since you're no longer Jewish,
12:53you're no longer invited. You're not welcome in my home. His own brother.
13:02And, and he said to my father, no, but Sergio and Jacques and Denise, you know, myself and my
13:09brother and sister, they are still Jewish. They may come.
13:12And, and, and I told my, my father and said, you know, dad, uh, I don't believe as you believe,
13:21but I respect your decision. I've, I've seen changes in your life. So where my parents are not
13:27welcome. So we are not, so we are, we are not, so not going to, to her engagement. So for five years,
13:35the family stopped talking to us. The only person that would talk to us as my Jewish grandmother.
13:42We would go to her home for the Jewish festivals. And we would be by the corner of the living room.
13:51No one will say anything to us, just my grandmother. Maybe just a good evening. And that was it. And they
13:58would not talk to us the rest of the night. So that's how it happened for, for five years.
14:06Until when I was 18 years old, when I was 18 years old in Brazil, we are obligated to draft
14:16into the army. Okay. And I didn't want to serve at the army, but you see that there I am.
14:27My mother, she told me, you know, son, you don't want to serve the army. Just go to church and pray and
14:34ask God to deliver you from the army. I said, okay. Sounds like a plan, you know. So I went to the
14:44church and I came before God and I said, no, Lord, if you deliver me from the army, I will believe
14:52that Jesus is the Messiah. You know what happened? I learned my first lesson that with God, there is
15:00no bargain, you know. You cannot believe in Jesus in exchange of something. I had to serve the army.
15:12And it was exactly in the army that God worked in my life.
15:18There was a guy in my platoon that he was a Christian. His father was a Baptist pastor.
15:25And he was such a peaceful man that his peace disturbed me. I'm not sure you have ever seen
15:37this kind of thing, you know, someone so peaceful that you cannot have peace because he is so peaceful.
15:44And one day I turned to him and asked him, you know, Zambrati, how is it possible for you to be
15:51so peaceful? And he turned to me and he quoted Proverbs 15, verse 1, that the soft answer turns
16:00away wrath. And I said, okay, he can do it. I can do it. But can we have peace without God? No.
16:11And I tried so hard. I couldn't. And I even thought, well, the Jewish Bible doesn't say anything
16:21about Jesus, you know. But by that time, I was being prepared to be an officer in the Brazilian army.
16:32And we finished the first training in December. The second term had to be in July. And during this time,
16:41we were still in debt with the Brazilian army. So we could not get a job because of that.
16:48And I was studying at university at night. And during the day, I was by myself at home.
16:55When my parents went to work, my brother and sister went to school, I started to read the Bible in secret.
17:03I didn't want anyone to know that. You know, the Jewish people, we are a prideful people, you know.
17:15And I didn't want anyone to know that I was that curious.
17:24And I would not read just the Bible. I would devour the Bible. I would read up to 70, 80 chapters
17:34a day a day. I remember one day that I took the book of Revelation. I read three times in a row,
17:43you know. So much curious I was. And when I read the Bible, because, you know, for you to read the
17:50Bible, the whole Bible in one year, you need to read three chapters a day. I was reading up to 70,
17:5680 a day. So I read throughout the Bible several times. And that was not enough, you know. I was not
18:06only reading, but I started to study the Bible. I started to see those numbers on the right of
18:12reference. And I started to compare the passages, you know. I really started to study the Bible.
18:18And after those six months, you know, I could not deny that Jesus is the Messiah. So I finished my
18:33training at the army. I met my friend again. I never told him or anyone that had read the Bible.
18:38But suddenly, you know, I finished the training at the end of July. And on Friday, two days later,
18:50I asked my parents to go to church with them. In two weeks, I was being baptized. It was back in 1988,
19:01I was 20 years old. So right now I'm almost 58. So it's been almost 38 years now that I'm serving the
19:13Lord. And that's when I started to, one year later, that's when I met this American pastor who was
19:21working in Brazil, who was a missionary to the Jewish people. That's when we left that
19:27Pentecostal church that my parents were. And I met this missionary and he started to train me
19:37on witnessing to the Jewish people. I was 21 years old. So I'm really evangelizing my people for 37 years
19:46now. That's about the time, one year later, that's exactly when our relatives, they start to talk to us
19:54again. Because on the same day that I was baptized, my sister, she was also baptized. When she saw me,
20:01you know, taking the faith step, you know, she decided the same thing. And that's when I think
20:11the mind of my relatives, you know, my uncles and aunts, they say, okay, maybe if we confront
20:20Joseph, my father and my mother, they are by themselves, maybe they will quit. But after they
20:27saw that myself and my sister, they also taking this faith in Jesus, I think they thought, okay,
20:36there's not much that we can do now. So they made an agreement with my family, you know, okay,
20:43we will talk to you again, but don't mention Jesus to you, to us. And I said, okay, we don't need to
20:51mention. Now that they are the ones who ask about Jesus. And throughout these years, you know, these 37
20:58years that have been witnessing them, I saw a couple of aunts that confessed Jesus, a couple of uncles also
21:08who confessed Jesus. My grandmother, my Jewish grandmother, she was 93 years old when she confessed
21:15Jesus as well. My father's mother. It's so much interesting her testimony because she was always
21:28the kind of really active woman. On her 80s, you know, she would take the bus and she would go everywhere.
21:36But she had a problem with diabetes and she had to remove her thumb. So she stopped really
21:46walking as she used to walk. So mostly she remained home. And my father, he started to feel
21:53concerned about her salvation. So maybe she'll die soon and I need to present her the gospel. And then
22:00she turned to her and said, mom, you know, uh, I'm really concerned about you and I want to show you
22:07who Jesus is. And so he started to present the gospel and she started to laugh at him.
22:15And mom, I'm serious. No, don't laugh at me. I'm talking about our, our Messiah. And, and she turned to
22:23him and said, son, I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing because I read, believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
22:31And, and I said, how come? Why, why you didn't never mention that? And she said, well, because
22:37uh, I, I saw how, how much trouble our family was when you came to believe. And I didn't want to cause the
22:46same trouble, you know, but I believe so. And on that day, she prayed with him, uh, to confess Jesus.
22:53Uh, and, and so we saw many in our family also come to the same faith. So, so it's something that
23:01has been a really encouragement to us. Well, and then that's when my, my church, I, I'm at the church
23:09that I, I, I, I pastor also, uh, it uses to be a synagogue. The, the missionary who, who introduced me
23:20to Jewish evangelism, he, he used to visit that synagogue. And that's how, when we, we met him,
23:29you know, he didn't have a place to worship. He, he wanted to have a place to put the Jewish,
23:35he came to faith through his testimony and he found this, the synagogue that had been closed.
23:45Before that I was, we were meeting on Wednesday at my parents' home and Saturday and Sunday at his
23:54associate pastor's home. So on, on Saturday I was the youth leader and, and that's where I also met my
24:04wife. My wife, my wife, she is, she, she, she were the niece to his associate pastor. He was Jewish,
24:12although my wife, she's not Jewish. Her, uh, his wife, you know, it was my mother, my wife's, uh, aunt.
24:23So that's how I met my wife. We got married 34 years ago.
24:28And she's a blessing of my life. You know, that's, she, she confessed to Jesus when she was five years
24:38old. She grew up, you know, in faith, you know, and in the beginning, she not, not really wanted me
24:44to be a missionary. I didn't want to be a missionary, but when God called me, you know,
24:49she, she was really battling with that. But we are so blessed that we have this, this is our
24:58beautiful family. On the left, you see Bruna. Bruna is my daughter-in-law. She's married to Israel,
25:06my oldest son, he's 30. And we, Benjamin is our first, first grandson. Yesterday he just turned one
25:15year and a half. My youngest son, Gabriel, and myself and my wife, Alexia. Okay. So it's, uh,
25:27it's been a blessing. My Israel, he's also a pastor. Um, although it's not his main job, you know,
25:34he, he works for Deloitte, but he's also, uh, a pastor. He is, and Gabriel, he, he plays the drums
25:44and he works with social media, you know, he, he loves being the camera as Andy. So it's, uh,
25:51it's a blessing for, to, to know that my family, my whole family is really involved
25:56in ministry. You know, it's something that, uh, I didn't understand why it's such a blessing,
26:02you know, because sometimes we see so many ministers, missionaries, pastors, you know,
26:07that their family away, but it's a blessing to know that my, my family is really working
26:15in ministry. So you can be praying for us, you know, and be praying for my, my family,
26:23for our ministry. Okay. And since then, I mentioned, I've been working on Jewish evangelism for,
26:31for that many years. Uh, I remember when, when I had just started, you know, when I was 21 years old,
26:41the, this pastor, this missionary, uh, he used to, every weekend, I would go out with him
26:47to witness. The first time that I went with him, he would go to a park, you know,
26:51you use a megaphone, you know, those things that used in the past,
26:56and he would speak with that. And I remember the first time that he came and he took this megaphone
27:02and gave him my hand and he said, Oh, now it's your turn. And I said, my turn of what? What should
27:09I do? And so, did you read the Bible this morning? I said, yes, I did. Well, just say what, what,
27:15about what you read. So that's how I started this. If you need to meet me by that time, I was really shy,
27:25but God started to break all the hindrances, you know, to make me be where I am right now.
27:33Okay. So since I was 21, start to Jewish evangelism, but, but I started as a full-time missionary
27:4225 years ago with, with another organization. And five years ago, I, I started with IMJP international
27:51mission to Jewish people. And I'd like to share some stories with you, what has been going on,
27:57as I said, not only through my family, but what has been happening in Brazil.
28:04This is my father here on the right, Joseph, his name. But you see that man there behind bars. I,
28:14for safety reasons, I just give an alias. Okay. So usually I call him Yakov. Yakov is a Jewish man.
28:25His family came from, uh, Romania, part from Romania, part from Hungary, uh, to Brazil.
28:33And he's a Jewish man that the family, uh, left Europe for safety reasons and have been witnessing
28:40for him. I've been witnessing to him for the last two years. Okay. He has been facing really
28:48financial difficulties. He, he had a home in, in, in Rio. I said the head because he was expelled
28:57from his home for the militia. You know, he lived in a dangerous area and the militia put him out of his
29:04home. And he's living by favor in someone's home, a friend of his. So to help, you know, raise some money,
29:14this, this friend of him made a, a small store by, by the garage of his home. And he sell things, you know,
29:24just inside a really small market, his home. And he sells exactly through this bar. And when I visit him,
29:33I stayed usually one hour, they are standing, just talking to him. Usually I don't open the Bible,
29:39but I quote the Bible to him. I apply to situations that he's living. Okay. Uh, he has been not only
29:49financially, but has this leading office also with health issues. He has, uh, has a cataract that he
29:57needs to have surgery, but he has been postponing to do that. Okay. He doesn't have health insurance,
30:03so he needs to go through public, uh, hospitals in Brazil, which is not easy. And he has also been,
30:11been postponing. Okay. So I'd like you to ask people to be praying for Yakov, you know, uh, he, he,
30:20sometimes I feel like he's, he wants more companionship, you know, someone to talk because
30:25he's lonely, then really interested about Jesus. But sometimes he makes some much good questions
30:34and that show that he's so much open, you know, I think he's really open to know more
30:42about Jesus. And, and as times pass by, I think, and now he is like 76 is about to be 77 years old.
30:52So it's not getting much younger. And I really pray for him that he may confess Jesus.
31:00This one is another example of just happened though. Gabby, uh, throughout 20 to 25, she battle cancer.
31:08I was witnessing for her throughout this year.
31:13And we had just before the holidays, you know, uh, my last day of working on the, on December 19th,
31:24that's when I and JP, we, we closed for the holidays. And when I returned from my vacation, because the,
31:34I also took, uh, another week on the, on the 12th, January 12th, her son called me saying that she had
31:45passed on January, on December 31st. That broke my heart, you know, when, when her son told me that,
31:54I, I, I cried the whole day. And for a few days, I was just really crying for knowing that she had
32:01passed, but she was much more open than, than Yaakov. You know, she was, although she never confessed
32:09to me, Jesus, the last time that we spoke, she was so much open. And I, and I was praying to God,
32:17she's so close now. And, and her son, when he called me, he said, you know, Sergio, my mother,
32:29she had you in such high esteem. She loved you so much. She loved so much talking to you,
32:34the way that she spoke to her. And she didn't live in, in Rio, you know, she was,
32:39she lives in, in, in a, in a city south of, in the south of Brazil called Blumemau. So I would talk to
32:46her over, over the phone, over WhatsApp, sometimes video. And, and he, and he told me, you know,
32:57she really loved talking to you. You have no idea how important the times that you spoke to her,
33:03it was important to her. So you never know if she took the decision or not. She, she, if she prayed
33:10to confess Jesus, I'm not sure. I have an idea. When my last day of work was the 19th, he told me
33:17that she started to feel bad on the 20th of December. On the 26th, that's when she agreed to go to the
33:26hospital. And on the 31st, that's when she passed. So what happened in this time, only the Lord knows.
33:36But the good thing is that her son, Ricardo, you know, that's his real name. He, he's really open
33:46and he is willing to talk. So maybe I can just continue the, the study that I was doing with his
33:54mother. I continue with him. He's a Uber driver. He has a brother. He is autistic, level three,
34:04really hard kind of behavior. And he really is not a lot of help. I think he's in his mid thirties,
34:16Ricardo. So I think would be, he lacks, how can I say, a father figure.
34:29So of course, I cannot be his father, but I can, maybe I can give him some guidance,
34:34you know, the spiritual guidance as well. So would you be praying for Ricardo as well,
34:41and his brother Andrew? Um, so especially after I returned, because after I spoke to him, that's when
34:51I had to come here and then they have to, when I returned to Brazil, I'll be back to be talking to
34:57him. So I'd like to be also be praying for them. Okay. I'll mention later the materials from
35:05my organization. Now, uh, his story have, uh, documented here. Uh, that's the Herald,
35:11the magazine that we send to our supporters and his testimony is here. Okay. And, but I will tell
35:21you briefly about that. Uh, that's when this, this woman, this Christian woman, she contacted me.
35:27We have a, uh, a common friend who was a Jewish believer, who is a Jewish believer. And she asked
35:36me to, uh, sell officiate her wedding. The problem that she said, oh no, uh, my, my husband,
35:43no, my husband, my, my fiancee, he's Jewish. He believes that Jesus is the Messiah, but he doesn't believe
35:51Jesus is God. He believes he's just a man. Would you mind officiating our wedding and said, okay,
36:01well, that's two baby steps. Now let's start talking so that they can know you better.
36:09I started to witness to him. He was such a stubborn man. You know, he was really hard.
36:15My wife says that when she saw the way that he was behaving, because he was also not, not,
36:24not from Rio, he was really on the north of the country in the state called Acre in the, in the Amazon.
36:34And I would also meet him by, by video. And my mother, my wife, when she saw his behavior,
36:43he said, oh, this guy's so much stubborn. If I were you, I'd just already kick him off, you know,
36:49quit from him. And usually I told him, that's why I am the missionary, not you.
36:56And what happened in that is that we started studying the Bible. It was in the beginning of May
37:02last year. It was about the, the end of August. He confessed Jesus and he said, he confessed,
37:10he believed that Jesus is God, not only Messiah.
37:14And it was amazing. And then, then you see here in the, in the front page, exactly the picture,
37:21when I was officiating his wedding.
37:26And, and now I'm starting exactly discipleship with him.
37:30That's something, you know, that, a present, a gift that the Lord sent.
37:34You know, I've been working with international mission to Jewish people. We call it IIMJP for,
37:40for five years now. April 1st will be five years. He is the third Jewish man,
37:47in these five years in Brazil, that confessed Jesus. Okay. So it's a,
37:53some people, sometimes people say, well, only three. But, you know,
37:57it's one by one that we go. Jewish people, not easy to minister to. Okay. But we are seeing the work
38:09happen. We've seen them confess Jesus. Okay. Last year, so to give an example, the kind of work
38:17that we do, IIMJP, we do streets, outreaches. This is the outreach that we did last year. We had,
38:26here we have like 15 people, but sometimes we had from 15, uh, from 20 to 25 people
38:34on the streets, helping us throughout the week. You see here in the front, my, my son Gabriel,
38:40he is always there to take the pictures. Last year, we had like 10 Jewish contacts on the streets
38:46during, throughout the week. And the, from those 10, I've been visiting one more regularly.
38:52It's this man. Uh, I'll call him David is the one in the middle. He's an Israeli
39:01who he has been living in Brazil for the last seven years.
39:04And he's homosexual. You see this guy that is with him, that's his, uh, mate, you know,
39:13they live together. And even being homosexual, you know, he's open to know more about Jesus.
39:21He, the guy that lives with him, he, his mother was a Christian. He was raised going to church.
39:31Okay. So he already knows the gospel. And I've been able to witness to them.
39:39Uh, David, he, he's so much open and, and, and he's asking, Oh, how do you deal with homosexuality?
39:52And, well, it's a sin. The same way that adultery is a sin. We tell people not to commit that anymore.
40:04After you come to believe, you're not supposed to be doing that.
40:08And I even told him about, uh, uh, a friend of mine, he was a Jewish believer. Also, he was a homosexual
40:18and he confessed Jesus. And he, he, he started being homosexual when he was 15 years old.
40:26He came to believe, confess Jesus when he was more than 70 or so, or he was practicing homosexuality for 55 years.
40:38And I told him, of course, you cannot change your mind. You know, that you're thinking about that for 55 years
40:47in a moment, of course, you still have battles, but after he came to faith, he no longer practiced homosexuality.
40:59So it's something that after you confess Jesus, it's something that you have to, to deal with.
41:04It's not okay to be practicing that. And, and, and I've been talking things like this to, to them,
41:13and they're still willing to talk to me. Okay. So pray also for David and Saul.
41:21Uh, they are the ones that are bringing, getting closer to me, you know, uh, in this witnessing process.
41:30And I really believe that God, you know, on his sovereignty, he can really work in their lives
41:38in such a way that they don't want to live together and maybe just be brothers in the Lord. Amen.
41:49This year, we're going to have an outreach. I'll be co-leading an outreach in the Boston area.
41:55We'll be from July 26th to August 1st. I just met the guy that will be co-leading with me. He's a
42:03Korean guy. He started to be a missionary to Jewish people with us about two years ago.
42:10So we've been mentoring him also to teach him how to do evangelism. And, uh,
42:18uh, it's a really good time for us also because in Boston, there are many Brazilian people who live in
42:25Boston. Boston is the second biggest Jewish population in the United States. That's in Boston.
42:32Okay. So I'll be contacting churches as well. I believe there are Jewish people,
42:37Brazilian Jewish people living in Boston as well. So that God may guide me also to those people.
42:44We have missionaries that we becoming from other countries that we have from Ukraine,
42:50from Israel, they're Russian speaking Jewish people. So they be witnessing to those, uh, Russian
42:57speaking Jews also in, in, in Boston. Okay. So our heart is really to reach out to my Jewish people.
43:05And you see that, uh, I just gave you a few examples of how things are happening in Brazil.
43:13If you want to contact me, you know, I'm really willing to be in touch with each one of you.
43:20My email, my phone number, and another thing that I ask you to copy my phone. Now we start in March,
43:30I will start to send by WhatsApp prayer requests on spot. Okay. Once a week, I'll be sending,
43:38for example, now I'm going to visit Yaakov. Would you be praying for me so that he can open his heart?
43:44So I'll be asking you just on the moment that I need your prayers, once a week, I'll be sending
43:51the prayer requests and also responses from the requests that I gave. Okay. So if you want to receive
43:57this broadcasting, I need you to save my phone number at your cell phone, because either way,
44:05if I send and the phone number is not saved in your phone, it'd be considered spam. Okay. So if you
44:13really want to receive that, you can just save my phone number in your cell phone, and then you,
44:19you put your WhatsApp number here, and I will know that you're willing to receive that, and I will
44:25send this information to you. Okay. And I, even if you see here, for example, talking about my, uh,
44:34one offering gift, you know, I really, of course, I need your gifts, but not my point. I really would like
44:43to each one of you to fill this card. Okay. Because you, even if you never send me a gift,
44:53you'll be able to be helping me with the most powerful weapon that you have, your prayers. Okay.
44:58And I really mean it. Okay. So that's my will that you all fill this out to be praying for me.
45:05Well, basically, that's it. I think I spoke, uh, enough already. And it's a, a real privilege,
45:15you know, for me to, to, to be here tonight. Uh, and I really appreciate the presence of each one of
45:24you and, and for your prayers for me as well. Okay. Thank you so much.
45:37Thank you so much.
46:07Thank you so much.
46:37Thank you so much.
47:07Thank you so much.
47:37To treasure the wilds High King of heaven after victory won
47:49May I reach heaven's joys of bright and sun Heart of my own heart whatever before
48:05To be my vision, O ruler of all
