00:00Magdalena's acting general manager Jason Martin told the TV6 News
00:05Ms. Clark was repeatedly asked if she was feeling well and stated she was fighting the flu.
00:30She had complications but she mentioned flu. But at least from where I said we had no sense of anything
00:37happening more severe.
00:39Mr. Martin said Ms. Clark left work after 11 p.m. on Thursday and appears to have suffered a medical
00:46episode while attempting to open her car.
00:49She would have been working late last night to get puro ready which is due today. And upon leaving, I
00:58think the team said she'd probably leave here sometime after 11 p.m., it seems as though that she was
01:03in some kind of distress.
01:05The unfortunate thing is that, you know, there were colleagues who noticed and did ask if everything was okay. And
01:12in a typical style she'd say, yes, she's okay.
01:15You know, that's a little unfortunate because, you know, I think maybe we could have, you know, get some kind
01:21of rescue issue and highlight what's happening.
01:24Mr. Martin said what was even more heart-wrenching was a fellow member of staff discovering her body.
01:31So when the night shift guy, the overnight shift came guy, he would have noticed she lying on the arm,
01:37car park, ground close to her vehicle.
01:59He said staff have been in shock since the incident, trying to come to terms with the loss of their
02:06co-worker.
02:06An autopsy is to be performed to determine the cause of death.
02:11Counseling is being arranged for staff.
