05:02having the the conversation about deshaun and everything i do think there have been a lot of
05:10people that kind of have amnesia about deshaun that the best thing that happened to deshaun in town
05:15is that he's just not played football for about a year and a half because like yeah it's been almost
05:20700 days by the time we get to week one like there are more people accepting the idea of playing
05:26deshaun and i think it's just because you haven't watched him be really bad at football for a year
05:31and a half yeah i mean think about it because it's not just it's not just not playing last season
05:35it was the idea that he got hurt in such an early part of the uh of the 2024 season

06:01big win that then we had the monday show no it was cincinnati in that season baltimore was the
06:08previous season i'm thinking sorry i got my catastrophic injuries confused with itself that
06:13was the previous season where by the way it wasn't even like he was really that good in that baltimore
06:17game we just remember it in a fun way because we we wanted to yep no he was good in

06:21quarter he had one touchdown one it was the second half is what it was i had one touchdown
06:25one interception threw for two a whopping 213 in the second half and then uh and then completed
06:30completion percentage under 60 percent 216 474 0092 if the brown started with you i know i started
06:374-0 with the sean uh will will people start to forget the let's say four years of waste that

06:46with brown's football uh i again i think i think the more good you have the easier it will be

07:24like that was like sports fans will race a lot really quickly the difference there though was
07:30that was a lot of off-field stuff with the sean there's on-field stuff that is baked in to

07:35browns and in a brown's uniform in a way that i for myself just can't erase so so i think

07:41that's fair i think for me i'll be slower than the average fan to to oh to sean we're so

07:48so whatever i what i will say is i think there's a minority of fans who just it doesn't matter

08:21but there is a point on a hypothetical plane of of existences that i do think a majority of browns
08:29fans would just be like that's my quarterback i'm thinking about like year two that deshaun had
08:33because remember year two when he did get injured in that in that baltimore game before the baltimore
08:37game he was four and one they still won that game he technically was five and one that season like
08:40he did have a lot of wins and i don't remember people thinking that deshaun watson had uh taking
08:47care of everything that he needed to and all of a sudden everyone was lined up for deshaun watson and
08:51this is the greatest thing since sliced bread like and that was you were winning games it wasn't looking
08:55pretty he wasn't doing his part but you were winning games that baltimore game i it that felt like a
09:00super bowl win and i and i will say this i remember saying in real time that felt like the
09:06game that
09:07deshaun became the browns quarterback the guy we've been waiting to see and then literally the
09:13next day they're like oh his arms falling off and he's he's gonna be done for the rest of the
09:17season
09:18so it tells me you can be bought by wins then i mean he was he was five and one
09:21at that point of
09:22the season like that was a he was off to a rip-roaring start you can be bought by wins
09:25then yeah ask it
09:26maybe onto something for yourself more than myself i think the buy-in's a little bit more now
09:30i i think because of the achilles i and i honestly i there's just still an aloofness with deshaun
09:37personally that it just it i i know why it happened in the beginning but after four years i know
