00:25Todd father has got the energy that Cleveland's been waiting for I think I think the Todd father
00:30is what people were hoping uh Freddie Kitchens was going to be uh because he's competent but also
00:37relatable and I think I listen the Deshaun stuff that's for 2027 to figure out or at the very least
00:44you know December for us to figure out as of right now the Browns are winning and they're doing it
00:50with a lot of young talent and that does tell you no matter of the style of play they've got
00:55a lot
00:55of young pieces that could be here should be here for the next five to ten years and a lot
00:59of winning well that's why Sunday was such a step in the right direction I mean I told you last

01:03when they were sitting at four and two and it looked like some of those players were struggling
01:06it's like I we need to get these guys going if you're gonna if you're gonna really sell me on
01:09the
01:10idea that it's a record isn't really the biggest thing in the world necessarily for this season
01:15uh but the idea is you've got to develop these young guys when you watch Sunday Nick that's
01:19Harold Vanden Jr. being one of the best tight ends in the NFL he plays like that consistently
01:23that's Casey Concepcion and Denzel Boston both of them being this one two wide receiver punch that's
01:29Judkins actually being a real running back instead of what we've seen in the first six weeks like that
01:33that is so crucial the success of this team and our future happiness hinges on the all 22 team
01:39these 22 and younger guys and so like them having a great game that's what was huge well and I
01:44mean
01:44like and I'm not throwing our guy Anthony Alant under the bus I make a lot of jokes about Anthony
01:49because I kind of do that with everyone sometimes I go too far at him and not enough at everyone
01:53else
01:54but like I saw him yesterday get defensive because he referred to Deshaun's performances just fine
01:59and I was like what game are you watching like I mean honestly I know he had the interception and
02:05we will get to that probably in the next segment but it's like Deshaun had his first 300 yard game
02:10passing as a Cleveland Browns quarterback and they won the offense and he had the rushing touchdown too
02:16and he had the rushing and and like not just that like there were a couple other plays like
02:20Denzel Boston didn't have the best day at the office but Denzel uh dropped that I right there
02:25on the money first down throw Concepcion dropped what would have been a 50 yard touchdown pass that
02:29was right on the money the offensive line had a couple gaffes at the exact wrong time like
02:34Deshaun had a couple other things that if not for those plays his numbers would even look better
02:40like guys if you can't look at last night's game or yesterday's game and go that's a really good
02:44game by Deshaun doesn't have to be the best one ever because that's a hyperbole in the opposite
02:49direction but if you can't just say no he played really well in the offense he led the offense to
02:54a victory which we really hadn't seen outside of maybe what the maybe the the the Pittsburgh game
03:01I'm sorry I don't if that's not enough for you with Deshaun there is nothing that's going to be
03:05enough no it's a great get right game for Deshaun and so I when I thought the response would be
03:10would be suggesting that basically Tennessee's not a very good team and so of course he's expected to do
03:14that but it's a 300 yard performance and that is him making a lot of really nice throws and that
03:18is like there's so many things that he did at a really high level and will translate against good
03:23teams I don't want to sit here and knock Deshaun Watson for yesterday that'd be insanity to me and
03:27by the way that's the same people who were down on him because he didn't play well enough against
03:31the Jets which is a valid criticism at the time by the way but you can't say well it's Titans

03:36course he's going to play like that if you were all that pissed off well no but the Jets game
03:40those are
03:40two different games to me though those are those are two different games one game was against the
03:44Titans and the other was against the Jets you are correct one game he threw for 150 yards and we
03:48had quarters where it was like uh 15 total yards passing this this game wasn't that this game like
03:53we've been searching for and I know they didn't put up a lot of points in between uh quarters two
03:57and
03:57three but we've been searching for a game where you didn't have these extreme lows with Deshaun
04:01Watson we didn't have extreme lows with him like they the ball was moving they were they were
04:05driving down the field it didn't always end in points but it wasn't as if they were stuck in the
04:09mud the
04:09way that a lot of at least over the past couple weeks a lot of these drives have been to
04:13and oh
04:13by the way two things that I think are actionable things if you're a Browns fan to trust actually I
04:19might even add a third one there we'll see we'll play it by ear the first thing is they played
04:23under
04:23center more which I do think opened up holes for Quinshawn I think he's more I think we have
04:28double secret confirmation that he prefers to be out of the backfield and not in the uh the shotgun
04:35two uh he was getting the ball out a hell of a lot quicker I think it was 2.77
04:40seconds to throw
04:41and then the third one is at the end like it is apparent this is less statistical and just it
04:47is
04:47apparent he has Munkin's trust to some degree so he doesn't have to be your quarterback as long as
04:53Todd Munkin is continuing to grow a trust in Deshaun I think that's a really good sign well get the
04:59ball
04:59out quick I mean why he's been so successful at the end of these games and really with two minutes

05:04in the first half and then obviously the second uh the you know the fourth quarter was because he
05:09was getting the ball out quick we we wondered that last week it's like why shoot like Deshaun
05:13why why are you waiting to do that just do that at the beginning portion of it and that's clearly
05:17what he did and like if people are asking me like what's one area where I feel like Deshaun
05:21should have won the job or did win the job over Shador Sanders it's what we're talking about right
05:25there and his ability to get the ball out quick like that is that is a skill set that he's
05:29always had
05:30and the idea that Munkin is utilizing that like Jeffrey Simmons you see his post game yesterday
05:34he's like I don't know what you guys want me to do with that when he's getting rid of the
05:37ball that
05:37quick there's nothing I can do there he completely neutralized what I was trying to do as a pass
05:41rush as trying to get home because the ball was getting out that quick like that's exactly what
05:45we're talking about that can you can be really effective that way and on the defensive side of
05:49the ball I thought that's something that the Titans did really well for most of the game including
05:53Kim Ward although it helps when apparently you're just going to get to the line with like 30 seconds to
05:59go in the the clock and then the coach gets to go ahead and play quarterback for 15 seconds
06:04anybody notice the amount of time yeah that's McVay's old trick though uh it it felt like Brian
06:11Dable took it to a completely different level that's that's what you're supposed to try and
06:14minimize Kim Ward giving you even within that even within that he still had 80 passing yards
06:19entering the fourth quarter and like my Kim Ward still wasn't good you know he was just itching for

08:36script to throw at most teams Munkin comes in and I mean he adapts to what everything is that the
08:42defense is giving him and and Rudy is adapting as well you saw how the first two drives of the
08:48Tennessee game we were getting dashed and just completely torn apart by Pollard and you know
08:54Rudy comes in and he and he changes his game plan and he adapts and that's how we're never out

09:04order of being able to possibly win these games and doing it so I give a lot of credit to

09:10on this team of how they're they're just completely taking everything out of the
09:15dredges of what Cleveland and Zubanski has done and and just being being football knowledge guys
