00:00Today on Media Miss Minute, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth accuses the media of trying to make
00:05President Trump look bad. Plus, a Minnesota woman is now facing charges for allegedly
00:10threatening the state's House Speaker. Hi, I'm Simone Del Rosario. Today, two stories being
00:18largely ignored by partisan media outlets. Largely missing from the right, Defense Secretary Pete
00:23Hegseth accused news outlets of focusing on the wrong thing in coverage of the war in Iran
00:28after the death of six U.S. troops. This is what the fake news misses. We've taken control of Iran's
00:35airspace and waterways without boots on the ground. We control their fate. But when a few drones get
00:43through or tragic things happen, it's front page news. I get it. The press only wants to make the
00:50President look bad, but try for once to report the reality. The comments come after coverage of
00:56these six U.S. service members killed in an Iranian drone attack earlier this week.
01:00Now to what you're not seeing much from left-leaning outlets. A Minnesota woman is facing
01:05charges for allegedly threatening state House Speaker Lisa Daymyth. Authorities say 42-year-old
01:11Rachel Welsh of Hugo, Minnesota left a series of voicemails in January and February calling Daymyth
01:17a racist and implying she would shoot her. Investigators say Welsh claimed she had learned
01:22how to shoot and was, quote, getting really good as a marksman. For more stories missed or minimized
