00:00Hey guys, welcome back or welcome to my channel. Today I am in Shanghai, China and I'm going to
00:06show you what it's like to go to the hospital. I'm going to go to the hospital and I'm going
00:10to get a health checkup and you might say, what's wrong? What's going on? Here in China,
00:14you don't have to have anything going on. You don't need an appointment. You can show up at
00:18a hospital and get a full health checkup. They will check your heart, your love, they will check
00:24everything and it is so affordable. It is so cheap. It puts our health care system in the
00:31United States to shame because it's so simple. It's so, it's actually a really, really thorough
00:38health checkup. Here in China, they don't take health lightly. They will give you a full report
00:42on your health. They can detect things like cancer, heart disease, pregnancy, PCOS, heart issues.
00:51And then they will administer and prescribe you some herbs. In China, it's all holistic.
00:57This is a very holistic country. They believe herbs heal everything. So after they give you,
01:04you know, after they give you a report, they will give you herbs based on what they found
01:10out that you need. Does that make sense? So I'm going to go to the hospital. No appointment
01:15required. Some of these hospitals don't speak English. So, but I speak Chinese, so it shouldn't
01:21be an issue. And I'm going to tell them I want a TCM health checkup. So let's go. China has
01:26and is becoming more and more the world's biggest population. Soon, China will have more people
01:34than anywhere on planet earth. They also have some of the longest living people and I dearly trust
01:41their health care and their way of life. It's worked for centuries and it's an honor to be here
01:49and to be able to participate in it. I showed up at the hospital and I had to register. I
01:56didn't need
01:56a reservation. Only thing I needed was my Chinese visa and my passport. I wrote down my name and my
02:02age
02:03and exactly what I was looking for. They gave me a number and I had to go pay. The visit
02:10itself was
02:1110 US dollars. I had to pay that upfront just to get, it was the price of getting seen, which
02:18is just
02:19so crazy when you think about the difference between the American healthcare system, which is just an
02:24absolute crap hole. And here in China where they have the most people, um, and it's $10. Anyways, I
02:33registered, I went to the wing called traditional Chinese medicine, where a traditional Chinese
02:39medicine or TCM doctor was going to have a look at me, check my pulse, and give me basically a
02:44diagnosis.
02:46They're skilled and they train and train and train for years to learn how to read pulse and see if
02:51there's
02:52something going on there. They can detect so many different diseases. So I sat down, I had my card,
02:59I had my little number, and I just had to wait to be called in to see the doctor. My
03:04name popped up.
03:06I don't know why they spelled by arm like that, but it was so funny. And China is all about,
03:11you know,
03:11straight to the point. They have some funny posters here, but then the doctor checked my pulse and she
03:18started asking me questions. She asked to see my tongue. She looked at my tongue for a minute and
03:23she felt my pulse. And immediately she said, you have insomnia, don't you? And I said, yeah, I do.
03:28I wake up several times during the night and she told me that that could be from several different
03:36things, but she believes it's from just heightened, uh, too much stimulation during the day. She also told
03:43me not never to drink cold drinks. It totally messes up your digestion. And when your digestion
03:48is messed up, your sleep is messed up. So she said, stay away from sugar and stay away from cold
03:54drinks. If you can have anything, if you're going to drink anything, drink it warm, period. Cold drinks
04:01do not hydrate you. Cold drinks only disrupt your digestive system. So she came up with a prescription
04:08for me. I had to go pay for that. That was another $20, um, which is so crazy to think
04:19that, you know,
04:20the stuff that's going to help me so much is so cheap. I had to go pay for it. And
04:25then downstairs,
04:26I got sent my herbs, my Chinese herbs, not a single pill was prescribed. Thank you, Jesus. There is a
04:36different way of doing things than pills, pills, pills, drugs, drugs, drugs. I got a giant bag of my
04:43herbal medicine and I was sent on my way home. I just got back from the doctors. They prescribed me
04:53when they said they were going to give me herbs. I had no idea it was going to be like
04:59this much.
05:00She gave me such specific. Okay, so I have a bag with everything. There's so much. So there's like
05:12dandelion, chestnuts. Um, these are hazelnut shells. There's, um, oh my gosh.
05:30Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh, you guys. Oh my goodness. I did not know.
05:46There's a lot of different tree barks in here. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
05:57Cool. This is dandelion roots. Here's some dandelion roots. I have to boil these and make
06:05seven different types of tea and drink it over the next 14 days. And she told me that
06:11it would help my digestion. She did tell me that, um, I have a little bit of digestion issues,
06:17which I do. Um, and she told me it'll help me with my sleep because I definitely struggle with sleep,
06:26but I can't blame anything but the fact that I'm always on my phone or my laptop, you know, like
06:33always. So, but she told me it'll fix my sleep. She said all these herbs will de-stress me.
06:39It'll clean out my liver. It'll clean out my intestines. And it gave me a really good sleep.
06:48I'm dying at this amount of herbs. I had no idea. So, I'm gonna make my first concussion.
06:55And, uh, yeah. This should be very, very interesting. Alrighty.
07:03So, anyways, I am very happy I went to the TCM doctor. I found out that I'm healthy.
07:08I just need way more rest. Way more. Way, way, way, way, way more rest.
07:17And we'll be good to go. But I'm so happy I went there. And I think I'm gonna do another
07:22video
07:23where I show you guys Twina. Uh, Twina is also something they do at the hospital, which is like
07:28a traditional Chinese way of massaging you that is really good. She also told me to book some
07:34massages that'll help my body relax more. So, maybe I'll show you guys around that stuff too. But
07:40such a cool experience, right? If you ever come to China, you can 100% go to the doctors. And
07:44I
07:44recommend it. I trust the Chinese health care system way more than I trust the American health.
07:49Actually, I don't trust the American health care system at all. At all. So, um, I think
07:57here, they really, really care about you, you know? They actually are not really there other
08:04than trying to figure out what's wrong with you and how they can help you in a natural way.
08:08Where America's all about, how can I give you a drug, you know? So, anyways, I'm gonna take
08:13a little nappy poo and I'm gonna study a little bit more of my herbs. Um, here's my diagnosis.
08:20I'm gonna keep this forever. It literally says my name and it says my diagnosis. And, uh,
08:35I'm gonna quit as a kid playing this during the first 2 days.
08:35Should I help you guys anything else, right?
08:35July 6, 22, 1935 on Sunday.
08:36End of up and go crazy, ottily, and go crazy ahead and say to her,
08:36we did this next door.
08:36So, you know what's gonna be Jadi dress gonna be Matt?
08:36We did this heeling in mind.
08:36Do you think she'd onlyades them everything?
08:36They're usually so funny.
08:37I'm gonna tell me and enjoy that like this.
