00:0020 of the worst plays in MLB history start with a play that was so bad, it made the commentator
00:05swear on live TV.
00:13Man's really dropped the ball on that one.
00:15But number 19 is about to be the worst pitch you've ever seen.
00:30Alright, a horrible pitch giving the other team a free run?
00:34That's something I could see happening.
00:36But at number 18, I never thought a player's worst play would come from his neck game.
00:47What the? Man's really gave himself neck?
00:50I didn't know that was possible.
00:51Or number 17.
00:53Because one of the MLB's best hitters, you know, something that requires him to swing a bat,
00:57would forget how to do what made him so legendary.
01:00Like I said, this is the only left.
01:02Outside.
01:07And he struck him out.
01:08He didn't get the bat off his shoulder.
01:10That was a little bizarre.
01:12Uh, did dude's controller die or something?
01:14Either way, I had the same reaction as a fan.
01:17What the hell was Bryce doing here, man?
01:19But at number 16, a play was so bad, it made a player black out.
01:24Three or four starts out of him.
01:27On the throwback.
01:28Ooh, Caratini.
01:30It's Marwin Gonzalez.
01:31And also, it wasn't like he was hanging over the plate.
01:33He's in the batter's box.
01:34It's weird.
01:35And he's not staying in.
01:36Something so unusual like that, the guy could get a concussion out of that.
01:40Bro, this is the MLB.
01:42Not COD.
01:43Can't just be giving your opponent's headshots.
01:45And the worst part about the play was that it caused him to be so dizzy, he left the game
01:50and eventually blacked out.
01:51But at number 15, a moment was about to be historic.
01:55Until a player ruined it by literally hitting his teammate from the back.
01:58As ridiculous as that sounds, when a pitcher was close to accomplishing one of the rarest
02:02things in baseball, throwing a perfect game, he was only a couple outs away when all his
02:07squad had to do was not let anyone get on base.
02:27The catcher was so bricked up to make the play, he literally tackled his own teammate and ruined
02:32everything.
02:33That had to be one of the dumbest moments of all time.
02:35But number 14 is the complete opposite, because the smartest play of someone's career actually
02:40turned into another man's worst.
02:43Hasbury drills this one to right, Bautista's on the run and makes the catch!
02:48Frazier was halfway between second and third and Bautista's made two fine defensive plays
02:55here this inning.
02:56Frazier's saying, why are they calling me out at second base?
02:59Let's see what happens.
03:00He's off.
03:01The hidden ball trick.
03:02The hidden ball trick.
03:03He lifts up his foot, shuffles his feet, and lost contact, and Goins had the ball on Frazier.
03:10I mean, come on, man.
03:11That's what dude gets for not paying attention.
03:13Now, players got out on magic tricks like that before.
03:15But at number 13, a play was so bad, it only happened this one time in MLB history.
03:21You can watch millions of baseball games and never see that in your life.
03:270-2.
03:28Pretty well hit.
03:29Ward going back.
03:30It's off the wall.
03:31Armando Alvarez scores, McCann is being waved home, and a two-RBI double from Max Schumann.
03:38Oh, no.
03:40Mark Conte talking to Jim Wolfe right now, and this could very well be a matter of the runner
03:45crossing home plate.
03:46So what I believe happened is McCann missed home plate, and Daz Cameron, the on-deck hitter,
03:52grabbed McCann and pushed him back toward home plate.
03:56Everybody was stunned that the umpire actually called dude out.
03:59It kind of made no sense, but MLB rules state that players can't be touched by any base runner
04:05in front of them.
04:05So cuz dude's teammate pushed him because he missed the base.
04:08It was an automatic out, and the inning was over.
04:11But at number 12, a player lost his team the game when he injured himself.
04:26There you go, champ.
04:27Way to break a leg out there.
04:29But at number 11, a home run got ruined by the player who hit it?
04:56What an idiot, man.
04:57He couldn't even get to first base, right?
05:00Kind of sounds like my love life.
05:01But I'm gonna cheer up real quick.
05:03Cuz now that we're getting into the top 10 worst plays of the MLB, there's balls that
05:07bounced off players' heads, a play that had a 99% chance of being completed until a player
05:12messed it up, and one play lost the team a championship.
05:15You have got to be kidding me!
05:17But honestly, mistakes like all of those can really affect an MLB player's mind pretty badly.
05:23So let's lighten the mood a little bit by getting back to the worst plays in MLB history
05:27with number 10.
05:35Uh, I thought this was baseball, not basketball.
05:38Dude really tried taking the official's tip off.
05:40But that ain't the only time a ball hitting someone's head created a bad play.
05:44Cuz at number 9?
05:52Uh, excuse me, sir, that's not what anybody meant by getting your head in the game.
05:56But at number 8, another player's worst play led to him stealing a souvenir from a child.
06:011-2 delivery again.
06:04Estolea, fly ball, left field but in the yard.
06:06Kent will tag.
06:08He scores and Aguayani's up there with three outs!
06:11Two-restle score, Mercs is in!
06:14Aguayani gave the ball to the fan!
06:16He thought there were three outs!
06:18He handed the ball over to a fan!
06:20Look at the poor kid.
06:23What?
06:23At least the player's mistake only had him stealing back a free ball.
06:27Cuz at number 7, it doesn't get much worse than players giving their opponents free points.
06:32As Moncada hits a towering fly ball, deep into right center field.
06:36They run into each other.
06:38It's over the wall, it's gone!
06:40They ran into each other.
06:41And the ball cleared the fence.
06:44It's 2-1!
06:45Two dudes banging really just created the worst catch attempt I've ever seen.
06:49But it wasn't worse than number 6, cuz I swear to God, I literally can't even tell who had the
06:54worst swing here.
06:55Swings out of his helmet.
06:58One of the craziest swings I've ever seen.
07:02Gomez falls down on that foul ball.
07:05That may be the worst major league swing I've ever witnessed.
07:09As Gomez goes down and spins himself into the dirt in the process.
07:15He is off the ground and makes contact.
07:19Oh my gosh.
07:21Drawing his bat at that ball and a foul.
07:24Did that get Pena?
07:25But alright, at number 5, is the worst game losing mistake that a player could make.
07:30The catcher had been messing things up.
07:32Like right here, when he missed the tag on the game tying run.
07:35But things were about to get even worse just a few plays later.
07:39Tapper near the plate.
07:41And everybody's in play.
07:44They both advance and throws away.
07:46The Astros are gonna win it.
07:48The Astros are gonna win.
07:50Unbelievable.
07:51Astros walk it off on an error by Jonathan LeCroy in one of the weirdest finishes you will ever see.
07:59Ever.
08:00What an L, man.
08:01And that wasn't just one of the weirdest plays to end a game.
08:03Some called it the worst play that they ever saw.
08:06But who the f*** wrote that shit, man?
08:08F*** them reporters.
08:09This is my video.
08:10And I think number 4 is worse.
08:11Because a player literally forgot where the ball was.
08:13And he ain't even the one who made the worst play here.
08:16There goes Mosby.
08:17Picked a good pitch to go on.
08:19Terrible throw.
08:20Mosby doesn't know where the throw is.
08:21He's going back to first base.
08:23He steals first.
08:24Now he's gonna steal second again.
08:26I've never seen it before.
08:28He thought it was a fly ball somewhere.
08:30And they were decoying him.
08:31And here he goes back to first.
08:33Now the throw by Kenny Williams goes by Walker.
08:36And it hits Mosby.
08:38And he's gonna get up and go to second again.
08:40Hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold.
08:41Man stole a base.
08:43His opponents overthrew it.
08:44Then he ran backwards to the base he was already at.
08:47Already made no sense.
08:48They overthrew him again.
08:50And he stole the base again?
08:52I don't even know, man.
08:53I literally don't even know.
08:54But something that might sound even more impossible was number 3.
08:57Where a team messed up plays that they had a 99% chance of completing.
09:02Because with the Yankees up by 2 runs.
09:04And only needing one more out to end the game.
09:06MLB's stats gave him over a 90% chance of winning.
09:10Until the first of their bad plays happened.
09:15Mountcastle bounces it to Volpe.
09:17Who has a trouble finding the handle.
09:19Gets it to second.
09:20Too late.
09:21A run scores.
09:22Everybody's safe.
09:23And it's a one-run game in the night.
09:26Now with man's fumbling the ball, pulling off a win instantly got harder.
09:30No sketch.
09:31And that's when something even worse was about to happen.
09:34No more breathing room for Clay Holmes.
09:37Mullins to left.
09:38Verdugo started in.
09:40And the Orioles are going to win it.
09:41Oh my.
09:43Welcome to Club Sid.
09:47And what should have been the easiest catch of that white boy's life?
09:50Even though it was revealed that he had a 99% chance to catch it and win.
09:54Mance fell flat on his face to lose the game.
09:57Embarrassing.
09:58But at number 2.
09:59The worst play of someone else's career was so embarrassing.
10:02He literally left the country.
10:04All dude had to do was step on first base and the inning was over.
10:08Instead, his mistake got him called so hard by everyone, he decided to fly to Korea and
10:13start his career over.
10:14But the worst play in MLB history lost the team a championship.
10:18It was game 6 of the World Series and with the Red Sox up 3 games to 2, winning this
10:23game
10:24meant they would become champions.
10:26But with the game on the line and things tied in extra innings.
10:38Dude missed an easy ground ball to lose the game.
10:41Now, that mistake might have just tied the series.
10:44But making a mistake that bad was impossible to overcome.
10:48The momentum was completely shifted and it was pretty obvious the Red Sox were never over it.
10:53Because in the very next game, they got smoked and lost a championship they should have won.
10:57Now, that's wild.
10:59But not as wild as Spider-Man invading MLB games.
11:02There's players who stole their teammate's car then drove it on the field.
11:05There's even a player who whipped out his b***h during a game on live TV.
11:08It's all in here.
11:09So, how are you?
11:10Still here.
11:11Just click it.
