00:00Speaking of the Yankees, Joe, they got Garrett Cole back yesterday, who actually threw an inning
00:05of spring training. I don't anticipate seeing him at the start of the season, so that means that
00:10he's not playing a huge factor in the early part of the year. But let's be honest, the Yankees are
00:15playing for the second half of the season, and they're playing for the World Series, which
00:18they're playing for every year. But Joe, Cole being back at least in a spring game means that
00:25he gets some, what, double-A starts, triple-A starts, and then maybe we'll see him in a couple
00:29of months, right? Seems fair. But listen, I don't want to see him anywhere in April. I don't even
00:35want to see him in May, for that matter, Craig. And listen, nobody knows this better than the
00:40Yankees. It's a marathon, not a sprint, 162-game season. Garrett Cole, much like, and kudos to what
00:47the Dodgers did with Otani last year, they were in no rush to bring him back. They started warming
00:53him up, stretching him out after the All-Star break, and that is the way the Yankees have
00:58to approach this. It is much more important to have Garrett Cole ready for August and September
01:04and beyond than it is for anything else. But it's great to see the fastballs there, the
01:09miles per hour there, no discomfort. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that that moves
01:14accordingly.
