00:05I'm Larry Herb, Xbox Live's Major Nelson
00:07Xbox One is finally where it belongs
00:10In the homes of fans
00:12I thought it would be worthwhile then to highlight a number of fun, smaller features that will improve your overall
00:18Xbox One experience
00:20Let's begin with the menu button
00:22Which is a powerful, context-sensitive tool
00:25With a lot of uses across the Xbox One experience
00:28That's the button with the three horizontal lines next to the Xbox button on your controller
00:34Here are a few examples
00:36If you tap Menu on a tile in My Games and Apps, you'll have the option to pin whatever you've
00:42selected
00:45If you tap Menu on a tile under Pins, you can choose to unpin among other options
00:52Also, pressing Menu in the Party app will allow you to make the party invite only
00:57The Menu button can also help you change the order of your download queue
01:01Tap Menu on the app or game that's actively downloading and choose Pause Download
01:07This will immediately start downloading the next app or game in your queue
01:12Don't forget that no matter where you are in the system
01:14You can go to any app or game by simply saying Xbox Go To and the name of the game
01:21or app
01:21For example, Xbox Go To Killer Instinct
01:25Xbox Go To Forza Motorsport 5
01:32Xbox Go To Upload Studio
01:36You can also say Xbox Go Back to immediately return to your previous app or game
01:42For voice commands specific to your current app, you can always say Xbox Select
01:48This will highlight all available voice commands for the app or experience you're using
01:53Saying Xbox Send a Message will bring up a new message
01:57And saying Xbox Invite will immediately snap the party app
02:02Finally, there's the single best voice command on the console
02:06Xbox Record That
02:08Not only does this command capture the last 30 seconds of gameplay for you to edit and upload
02:13It also lets any opponent with an earshot know that their folly has been captured and recorded for posterity
02:33Next up, switching back and forth between controlling a snapped app and the full screen experience
02:38For example, if I just snapped my activity feed, I can double tap the Xbox button and get right back
02:44to the action
02:46I can also simply say Xbox Switch for the same result
02:50These are just a few of my favorite features
02:53I'd love to hear what your favorite features are
02:55So make sure you reply to me on Twitter at Major Nelson
02:58I hope you found this video useful for your Xbox One experience
03:02Thanks for watching
