00:21Once upon a time, on a hot summer day, a thirsty little crow was flying over a parched field.
00:28Oh, my beak is dry. I need some water, said the crow.
00:33Then, the crow spotted something shiny in the distance.
00:37It was a pitcher, a big glass pitcher.
00:40The crow flew down to check it out.
00:43Yay! Water, just what I needed, he said excitedly.
00:48But when he looked inside the pitcher, he exclaimed,
00:51Uh, the water is too low. My beak can't reach it.
00:55However, the clever little crow didn't give up.
00:59He started thinking of a way to solve the problem.
01:02Well, if I can't reach the water, maybe I can make the water reach me, he thought.
01:07He looked around and found some pebbles lying nearby.
01:11Then, he picked up the pebbles with his beak and dropped them into the pitcher one by one.
01:16Plop, plop, plop.
01:18With each pebble, the water rose higher and higher and higher.
01:24The crow cried out jubilantly.
01:26It worked. I did it.
01:28Yummy. Fresh water.
01:30And the crow drank and drank until he was full and happy.
01:35Hooray for clever thinking!
01:37And from that day on, the crow learned that careful thinking can solve even the trickiest problems.
01:44And the lesson of the story is, where there's a will, there's a way.
