00:00Welcome to Fabulous Fables. Today, we're going to share a wonderful tale about a poor shoemaker
00:06who receives unexpected help from a few magical friends. Are you ready? Let's dive in.
00:14Once upon a time, there was a shoemaker who lived with his wife in a small shoe store on
00:19the outskirts of a bustling town. He was very honest and hardworking, but he struggled to
00:24make ends meet. At last, he became so poor that he had only enough leather to make one pair of
00:30shoes. He cut the leather pieces out with care and laid them neatly on his workbench,
00:36so he could sew them together the next morning. Then, he retired to bed, let out a heavy sigh,
00:43and said to his wife, Take my hand, dear. Let's pray for our fortunes to change.
00:49Hopefully, our years of hard work will finally bring us the reward we deserve.
00:55At the break of dawn, the shoemaker ate his breakfast and made his way to his workshop.
01:01To his great amazement, he found an impeccably crafted pair of shoes sitting on his workbench.
01:07They had extremely delicate and even stitches, so perfectly formed that he knew he couldn't
01:14have created a finer pair himself. Upon closer examination, he realized the shoes were made
01:20with the same pieces of leather he had cut out the night before. The shoemaker went to his wife
01:25and showed her the miraculous shoes. She was as astounded as he was. Good golly, these are the
01:32most exquisite shoes I've ever seen. Who could have made them? She wondered. Before they could figure it
01:39out, a wealthy man came through the door. Wow! What a splendid pair of shoes you have there!
01:47He explained. Do you mind if I try them on? Why, of course! The shoemaker replied as he handed the
01:54shoes to the customer. The shoes fit the man perfectly. He was so pleased that he willingly
02:00paid double the usual price for them. Feeling overjoyed, the shoemaker immediately went out
02:06and bought more leather. That night, he cut out leather for two pairs of shoes and left them on
02:12his workbench. He went to bed early, so he could get up and start working before dawn. However, the next
02:20morning, the shoemaker found that the work was already done, saving him all the trouble. On the
02:26workbench stood two immaculately finished pairs of shoes. He stared at the shoes and thought,
02:32who could have made such fine shoes so quickly? He proudly displayed the magnificent shoes in his
02:38shop window, and they caught the eyes of many passers-by. Before long, some rich people walked
02:46into the shop and purchased the two pairs of shoes. Again, they paid him a great deal of money for
02:52his
02:52goods. With the day's takings, the shoemaker bought even more leather, enough to make twice the number of
02:58shoes for the next day. And every morning, he would find the shoes perfectly assembled, polished and
03:05neatly laid out on his workbench, ready for sale. Four pairs, eight pairs, 16 pairs and so on. This
03:13continued for weeks until all his shelves were filled with beautifully crafted shoes that couldn't
03:18be found anywhere else. Soon, the shop was crowded with customers, and it sold hundreds of pairs of
03:26shoes every day. The shoemaker became quite wealthy from selling so many shoes. Indeed, his wish came
03:33true. As he was sitting beside the fireplace one night, he said to his wife, Dear wife, I feel so
03:41blessed for our great fortune of late. I long to know who has been secretly making those magical shoes,
03:48so we can show our heartfelt thanks. Perhaps we could hide in the closet in the workshop to see who
03:53is
03:53helping us. The wife suggested. When the clock struck 12 that night, the shoemaker and his wife heard the
04:00sound of little footsteps in the workshop. Peering out from the closet, they were shocked to see three
04:06elves climbing onto the workbench. The tiny creatures picked up the cut-out leather pieces and started
04:12plying with their lightning-fast fingers. They rapped, tapped, hammered, and stitched with extraordinary
04:20dexterity and artistry, leaving the shoemaker completely awestruck. They worked furiously and
04:27tirelessly until the job was done. Then, they neatly arranged the finished shoes on the workbench
04:33and bustled off before daybreak. The next morning, the wife told the shoemaker,
04:39Those kind-hearted whites have made us wealthy, and we should show our gratitude by doing them a good turn.
04:46It makes me sad to see them running about in their old and worn-out clothes. They've helped us make
04:52so
04:53many shoes, but they don't have any for themselves. Yes, the shoemaker agreed. We must give each of them
05:00a nice gift. We can make some clothes and shoes that will fit them. So, the good couple worked until
05:09late at night and laid the finished clothes and shoes out on the workbench. Then, they hid themselves in
05:16the closet to watch what the elves would do. At midnight, the little elves appeared and jumped
05:22onto the workbench to start working. When they saw the wonderful presence, they began laughing and
05:27shouting for joy. In the twinkling of an eye, they dressed themselves and skipped merrily out the door.
05:34The shoemaker and his wife never saw the elves again, but everything went well for them from that
05:40time onward. The moral of the elves and the shoemaker is that kindness and generosity bring great rewards.
05:48Be kind and grateful, kiddos.
