00:00The 19th annual River Raid event was held on Sunday in Shagramas which involved
00:05mountain biking, 4k trail run and the doggy run. Event coordinator Maria
00:11Gooding was pleased with the way things turned out describing River Raid 2026 a
00:16huge success. Got so many runners that came on board we actually sold out we
00:23had to add on new numbers to get more people involved so guys next year when
00:29we open up registration be sure to register early. Focusing on mountain
00:34biking, Gooding has a love for the sport and has taken it to a next level after
00:39starting off as a triathlete in her younger days. As such she's encouraging many to
00:43take up mountain biking. So we have a few mountain bike groups and clubs right now
00:49I myself coach a junior team there's Giants there's Fit Kids get involved get the
00:55kids outside and doing fun stuff. There are many groups all different levels just
01:00find a group that you like in your area there's not only trails here there's
01:04trails in Targarygua and Arena and in San Fernando so just find a place that works
01:12best for you and hit the trails. According to Gooding the Twin Island nation is
01:16loaded with talented mountain bikers she says many juniors and TNT continue to make
01:21progress with the aim of reaching far in the sport. This is not just extracurricular
01:27this is a lifestyle so I really hope the to see some of our juniors eventually in
01:34the Olympic Games it's now an Olympic sport and mountain biking is growing globally.
01:39Time will tell if a mountain biker is one day going to represent TNT at the Olympics.
01:44Then we would not want to see some of our juniors export.
