00:00Eamon Mohammed Ghazali, the man who rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into Temple Israel
00:05Preschool in Michigan last week, had close ties to Hezbollah. His brother was a commander in the
00:11terror group, according to Israeli Defense Forces. The IDF says that Ibrahim Ghazali was responsible
00:16for managing weapons operations within a specialized branch of Hezbollah. Now, Israel says
00:22that's the unit that's been launching hundreds of rockets towards civilians in recent days.
00:26The IDF confirmed in a statement Sunday that Ibrahim had been, quote, eliminated in an Israeli
00:32strike on Hezbollah last week. Now, after plowing his vehicle into the synagogue preschool, Eamon's
00:38vehicle caught fire. He then briefly exchanged fire with the building's security and then took his own
00:43life when he became trapped in the burning car. The 140 toddlers and teachers he was trying to murder
00:49all made it out alive. Tucker Carlson claims the CIA read his personal text messages in the lead-up
00:56to the U.S. war with Iran. Why, you ask? Well, the conservative pundit says it was all an attempt
01:01to frame him as a foreign agent of the Iranian regime. Carlson has been very outspoken against
01:07Operation Epic Fury, but he denies he's a foreign asset. I'm not an agent of a foreign power.
01:13Unlike a lot of people commenting on U.S. politics and global affairs, I have only one loyalty,
01:18and that's the United States, and have never acted against it. So what makes him think the feds are
01:23after him? Here's the Post's deputy managing editor, Michael Zinni. So Tucker Carlson posted a video
01:28basically announcing his belief that his text messages to people in Iran had been read by the
01:37CIA. And it seemed clear that this was sort of him outing himself and trying to take control of the
01:45narrative because it seemed like this was likely to be leaked. Or, you know, he intimated that the
01:54government was going to try to, quote unquote, smear him with claims that he was being investigated.
02:03So he was also not specific about who he was talking to. But what we do know is he has
02:10very,
02:10very high level connections with foreign governments. He previously sat down with Vladimir
02:17Putin. He has had high profile interviews with top leaders in the Middle East. And he's also been
02:26very vocally opposed to the war in Iran. So the big question here is who he was talking to
02:35and what he told these people in Iran. The other interesting thing is just a few days before
02:42the U.S. and Israeli bombing campaign started in Iran, he was actually a guest at the White House.
02:50And that has led to some speculation that maybe the U.S. government knew that he was going to report
03:00back to Iran and was trying to either back channel or convey some message.
03:05President Trump says that Iran is begging to end the war, but he's not ready to make a deal.
03:11The president told NBC News the terms of a peace deal aren't good enough and said any agreement would
03:17have to include Iran completely abandoning any nuclear aspirations, the very thing Iran was refusing
03:23to do from the get go. Meanwhile, Iran's foreign minister, Abbas Aragchi, is singing a very different
03:29tune. Here he is on CBS's Face the Nation on Sunday.
03:32No, we never asked for a ceasefire and we have never asked even for negotiation. We are ready to
03:39defend ourselves as long as it takes. And this is what we have done so far. And we continue to
03:46do that
03:47until President Trump comes to the point that this is an illegal war with no victory. And, you know,
04:01there are, you know, people being killed only because President Trump wants to have fun.
04:12In a separate interview on MS Now, the foreign minister bragged about help.
04:16His country is getting from Russia and China.
04:18Well, Russia and China are our strategic partners. And we have had close cooperation
04:25in the past, which is still continuous. And that includes military cooperation as well.
04:31The president's lead negotiator, Steve Witkoff, said last week that Russia
04:34promised President Trump they were not providing Iran with intelligence, like, say, about the positioning
04:40of U.S. assets to help them range their missiles. So take that for what it's worth.
04:44And Araqji's comments will, of course, bring that claim into question again.
04:48Meanwhile, Israel says it's expanding its attacks on Iran's terror infrastructure.
04:53The Israeli Defense Force said their military went after targets in western and central Iran on Sunday.
04:58In a post on X, the IDF says they hit several command centers of the Revolutionary Guard and its
05:03volunteer militia units. The statement went on to say, quote,
05:06These command centers served as the regime's elements for managing ongoing activities,
05:11as well as for planning and advancing terror operations against the state of Israel
05:15and other countries in the Middle East.
